The dedication toward developing the whole child is evident in interactions staff have with children. (Even in moments when I unexpectedly show up for a midday pickup- this is consistent.) Watching the teachers/staff interact with kids is a masterclass in raising tiny humans- it's honestly shaped me as a parent. I truly believe that my kids are better people because of their time spent at MM. I feel deep gratitude for the staff at this school and the community they've built. In my experience, the director bends over backward to meet the reasonable (and sometimes unreasonable) needs and concerns of families- I don't really know of anyone who feels otherwise... and I do a lot of chatting with parents at birthday parties. My belief is that preschool is about little ones exploring the world around them and learning to interact with others (which is a big enough job as it is) so my focus isn't on academics, but I know that's a big question people have: My 4 year old is going to be entering kindergarten extremely well prepared. She knows her letters and letter sounds and can sound out words, and is adding and subtracting at MM! She knows about music (calling out, "Those are drums!" "That was piano!"when we listen to songs) and excitedly tells me about the seeds they germinated in class and how flowers grow. My sense is that teachers aren't pushing kids past what they're ready for, and are instead focused on building a love for learning, but that hasn't resulted in less exposure to pre-k and kindergarten academic content. My only rec is to get on the waitlist early because it's a long one.

The teachers and helpers are the best I have ever seen. They genuinely care about the well-being of every child. They are patient, kind, loving and can get down on the Childs level to help them learn and understand different areas in which the kids need guidance. My son asks each and every morning (weekend too) if he is going to school today. The fact that he loves going to school and learning social skills with other children and having such a positive bunch of role models around my son while I'm at work is priceless. One of my favorite aspects of this daycare center, is the fact that they pray with the children. They are a religious centered daycare, and for me and my family that is extremely important. When my son comes home from school and can pray at the dinner table without being prompted to, is such a heartwarming feeling. I can't say enough how much I appreciate this daycare center. On our daughters very first day of school, her teachers, Ms. Serena and Ms. Malih were so caring and thoughtful with her. She was nervous to be there and didn't want us to leave in the morning. Ms. Serena took her by the hand and spoke gently with her, and made her feel more comfortable. We knew we were leaving our daughter in good hands that morning, and the positive experiences continued on until our last day of school. The office staff is very friendly, and always makes me feel as if I'm part of the MCS family when I talk to them on the phone, or see them in person in the office. Whenever I stop by the office with my daughter, Ms. Galina goes out of her way to say hi to her and often gives her a warm hug and sometimes a sticker =) I would highly recommend Montessori Childrens School to my anyone I know that I is looking for a wonderful, caring place for the children to go to school / daycare, or anyone that plans to continue with the Montessori teaching philosophy.

Beyond the outstanding academics, my daughter has thrived socially and emotionally under the guidance of amazing, caring teachers and school staff who always go the extra mile. The school community (teachers, administrators, and families) pour so much time and resources into making the school an amazing place to be, through fun events, educational field trips, and engaging curriculum. I was so nervous when we first started because we had been at the same daycare downtown since my daughter was 4 months old and to have to start at a brand new school where we knew nobody felt daunting. I was so relieved and surprised to find that by the end of her kindergarten year, my daughter had friends and I had found a great group of parents who I felt at home with. Del Dayo got a new principal in 2025 and the transformation has been amazing. The teaching staff are thriving, she makes it her goal at the start of every school year to know every student by name and they are always excited to see her, and the lines of communication with parents are always open. You can tell she really loves the job and the school and that makes a world of difference. Students can test for the Rapid Learner program at the end of 1st grade and honestly, we didn't even bother testing for it because we love the school so much and wouldn't want to leave.

Marisol has been Kyrie's BT since the beginning, and she has truly been the best. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and she's been so wonderful with my son. The other BTs he's worked with have also been phenomenal, everyone there is so patient, kind, and caring. His case manager, Seth, has been great with communication and always keeps us informed. Sharon, the Senior Director, has been incredibly sweet and supportive since day one. I've seen some of the older negative reviews, but I honestly feel like those may have been from before Sharon took over. Our experience has been nothing but positive. Malia at the front desk is the sweetest, and every time we're there, I see how much the entire staff truly cares about the kids. It means so much as a parent. Sessions are often cancelled unbeknownst to parents causing anguish to those of us who have jobs. You are often left to either call out from your job and or scramble for other means of care for your child. Too many unpredictable days here in this center. I have missed important meetings as a result of no-shows in this center, staff members not returning, sessions being cancelled, etc. A NIGHTMARE !!!! Someone is always cancelling and or calling out. They do not have a robust system in place at all. There are other ABA clinics in Placer county that "may" have a better system in place but again if you are a working parent and or a single working parent DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE. There's another clinic within close proximity in that same parking structure and I was told that other parents have also complained about Behavior Frontiers to the other clinic. PARENTS ARE CRYING as a result of Behavior Frontiers scheduling tactics that have left countless parents on edge. BE CAREFUL PARENTS !!!!

Every school will have critique coming from families, including from us. But, admin staff and teachers have always been open in having discussions on ways they can improve, how they can correct an issue, and how they can support our family and son's learning and social development. Open communication and a plan of action or improvement are wha we seek with any issues that we bring up, and the staff has always met these expectations. I was so so so scared to put my son in daycare because I have never left his side since he was born! The first day I went there I was terrified to let him leave my sight but the previous teacher named Dominique in the baby class was the most gentlest soul ever. She brought me immediate comfort & reassured me that he's going to be okay and I can call anytime and ask how he's doing. They also sent pictures & updates throughout the day. There was also a previous teacher named Brooke. She adored my son and I can tell because my son loved being with her. Every time I came to pick him up they would be stuck to each other like glue it really was such an amazing thing to see. Dominique and Brooke were really great teachers I even saw them as family as time went on. Unfortunately they left but Brooke has watched my son outside of school too. There was a whole staff change and just as I felt 100% comfortable I had to readapt to the new staff. My son especially had to adapt. However a few teachers stayed that were with the first staff named Ms. Kam & Ms. Debbie. They are amazing!! I love the way I see them interact with my son & how my son responds to them! When the whole staff changed I was very glad to still see their faces! There's also one other teacher who also stayed and alternates sometimes in the ones class and she's the sweetest too! I am totally forgetting her name and I'm so sorry if you see this but you're amazing & so caring. Don't take offense! We literally talk all the time I'm just so bad with names lol. Thank you for being such a great teacher and caring for my son the way you do. The new staff I was so iffy at first because I had no clue what to expect. It felt as if the staff I was super comfortable with just got ripped apart and we were expected to just be okay and move on from that. I was pleasantly surprised. They really got ahold of the bearings quickly and over time I've built a relationship with the new staff! They're caring, kind, you can tell they're great people even outside of working. They answer any questions I ask. I don't feel worried when I drop my baby off & I know they're always setting up fun activities for everyone & even field trips for the older kids. As much as I miss the old staff I'm excited and thankful for the new staff. I'm glad they filled the missing spaces & appreciate how organized and compassionate they are. Can't wait to see how far this school goes! If you're looking around for a good daycare for your child this is the one. Thank you everyone!
