They ask you to pack food for meals and will not heat up your child's food so be prepared to pack cold foods only. The staff just seemed annoyed more than anything at my son as he had a hard time adjusting to his new schedule. Just about everyday he cried upon drop off and pick up. Understandably there were growing pains, but even now at his current child care facility he adjusted within 2 weeks. The staff was avoidant when we tried asking questions and when we were able to talk to them (the little conversation we were able to have) they tried to keep it as short as possible with no elaboration. The worst came less than two weeks in. There was an incident that happened which ultimately resulted with my son needing stitches in his face from one of the teachers trying to pick him up from his cot before nap time to change his diaper. The story still is not clear and conveniently there was no video of what happened and no proper incident report was provided even after requested. Hopefully others have a better experience here and everyone can be kept safe in the future.

Choosing this childcare provider has truly been like gaining a second family…read more From the moment we moved our children here, we were welcomed with open arms. Every question was answered, and the staff took the time to give us one-on-one attention so that we could ensure this was the right fit for our children's needs. That level of care and intentionality made all the difference for our family. They teach and live by seven core values: compassion, gratitude, honesty, love, perseverance, respect, and responsibility. Our children are encouraged to demonstrate these values daily and receive positive praise in real time as well as our children receiving written recognition that is sent home so we can continue reinforcing those lessons as parents. It truly feels like a partnership. In addition, they work with my kids on educational fundamentals such as the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes. My children both have asthma, and the staff has been extremely attentive and responsive to their needs. It brings such a peace of mind knowing they are in caring and capable hands. Any time there has been a minor injury--like a bump or fall--we immediately receive a call, an email, and a face-to-face conversation with staff so we are fully informed. Their communication is outstanding. Now that my daughter is school-aged, they continue to support her with care - during breaks- and we feel incredibly blessed to still be part of this community. Since we don't have much family or close friends nearby, this childcare center has given us a sense of comfort and security that allows us to continue working without worry.

There were so many things I was afraid of when I started to look for a daycare, like cleanliness, my son not being taken care of well enough, daycare staff being over worked and overwhelmed. You hear a lot of horror stories that scare any parents but man does CJCC really exceed all my expectations. They send presious pictures and updates when asked and I truly appreciate the pics and updates . Ms. Pinar has been so amazing to my sweet boy! She truly loves and cares so much for him & works so well with trying to get him fed. (He was exclusively breastfed most his life) if you know, you know! She has been compassionate, kind, understanding and willing to assist to meet his preferences and needs. When I first toured I was SO impressed with their attention to cleanliness & infection control. From the moment I stepped in the door Ms. Pinar & Mr. Avni welcomed me with such warm energy, happy and inviting. They made me put on booties over my shoes and wash my hands. Which was a first! My son was 5 months when he started but I was so happy and impressed to see all the learning tools and hear about how they help the children with real life skills. I was so impressed I came back a second time with my son's father. We are so excited and happy to be apart of the cookie jar child care family!!

My son speaks with incredible pronunciation and has a very wide vocabulary for a 2 year old and I have no doubt it's from the education this daycare provides while my husband and I work. I absolutely love that they have no screen time and have a very structured day to help children learn to thrive in routine. I highly recommend cookie jar child care in Rocklin.

The school's educational program is excellent, and they've always been flexible and understanding with scheduling. Our daughters have learned so much and built great confidence here. Thank you, Ms. Tanya, Ms. Joanna, and the entire CHM team for creating such a nurturing place for children to learn and thrive. Naomi is truly an artisan when it comes to creating beautiful, imaginative spaces for young children. I was completely blown away by the setup, the activities, and the thoughtfulness that went into every detail--and all at such a reasonable price! I had asked for a Frozen theme without the overly commercial feel, and wow, did she deliver. The space was enchanting and perfectly tied into our theme in the most tasteful way. The mud kitchen, sensory station, painting area, customized scented play dough, potion making station, fairy garden, child-sized table with custom mushroom stools, teepee house... there was something special for every single child. Even my ten-year-old had a blast exploring the sensory play stations! What I loved most was how intimate and personal everything felt. I really loved this daycare/preschool and had a good rapport with quite a few of the teachers (some I saw rarely or never since they worked mornings). Many of the kids that were in her class had been there just as many years as her, if not longer (i.e. this is a place parents obviously feel comfortable with because their kid(s) stay there long-term). My daughter definitely had her favorite teachers, and I'm not gonna lie, the first time she told me she loved her teacher Ms. Louise, I felt a stab of guilt over someone else 'raising' my child (I know a lot of stay at home moms that guilt people about daycares) but then I thought, 'How great is it that I have a place I feel secure about having my little girl at every day?!' The director Elizabeth is very understanding and the teachers as a whole are great about keeping you posted on any incidents that may have occurred - like the time my daughter was stung by a bee or the many times she tripped and fell and they bandaged her up and comforted her. I definitely, wholeheartedly recommend this place! So glad that I brought her here on not one but two recommendations from my own family.
