For example, being upset that one parent brought " too much birthday treats" which there is no policy on how much to bring or not to bring. During this speech she call me out saying I should not do this. Let me tell you why this was strange for her to say. My twins have summer birthdays so I had not brought in and treats. When she said this, every single parent stared at me which made things very uncomfortable. She also discussed another child to me (that was not one of my children) that was four years old and said "he would cry if his shoe was not tied" My other issues I have is Kathy calling children too emotional or over emotional mind you all these children are 3 to 4 years old. 3 to 4-year-olds have big giant emotions. Many of these children have never been away from their parents so the response to that is a normal developmental response for that age. I think that's a unfair assessment especially regarding crying at that age as so many children do now let me add. She had never said this about my children but as a parent, I don't like hearing about anyone's children at that age. It took me along time to make this review I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. But now that my children are in a school setting, where the teachers have respect do not say negative comments like that I realized how wrong that was and how many times I let things slide when I was just trying to keep the peace in thinking maybe it was me. All the other teachers here are great . Kathy herself I believe is a good teacher, but I had some very negative times interacting with her. I wish there was a review like this before I signed up for this program so I would have been aware. I did bring this up to hire management and directors more than once through the school year last year. The reason I didn't pull my children out were they were doing very well in school they made friends and the other four teachers were all fantastic.

It is also worth mentioning that everyone that works there has a kind heart and truly cares about the growth and the development of the children under their care. The school is safe and clean. Once a year at open house all the kiddos' hard work is showcased, demonstrating the academic and artistic strength of the school and children. We just attended graduation where the children sang in three languages. As a parent, I could ask for nothing more; I could feel the community, celebration of the children's accomplishments, and support of the staff. I am truly grateful and honored to have sent my child here.

When looking for a day care we asked friends AND also looked for a place where we wouldn't feel judged (do all parent's feel they might be screwing up?) When we started her at Country Hill Montessori her language skills were mediocre, she wasn't very social, and both my wife and I were quite worried. Our worries were ultimately unfounded as from the first day the teachers and staff were extremely patient (both with us and our daughter). She was understandably upset but everyone went out of their way to reassure us AND console her. Over the next week or two she started feeling more and more comfortable and over a year later she actually enjoys going to "school". She has multiple teachers and teacher aides that she adores - and our experience is that ALL of the staff and teachers are wonderful and insanely patient. I'd mention them all but I figure they'll know who they are without mentioning them one by one. At present our daughters language skills have improved exponentially, she has "friends" that she asks about, and we couldn't be happier. While my wife looks forward to when our daughter will move on some day, I find myself wishing we'd never have to :)

My husband and I are so happy we placed our 2 yr old son at Cadence Academy…read more He was previously in an in home daycare and our experience did not go well. He was constantly upset at pick up and when we got home he would refuse to be put down. Multiple times we were asked to pick him up because he would not stop crying. We realized he was not receiving the care and attention he needed to grow as well as his needs weren't being understood. Needless to say after that experience we incredibly hesitant in placing him anywhere else. I found Cadence Academy online and decided to take a tour of the facility and was luckily enough to meet some of the staff as well. We decided to move forward with going here. We enrolled him at Cadence Academy at the beginning of September and he's come so far under the care of the amazing staff there. His teachers Ms. Kristina, Ms. Liz, Ms. Emily and Mr. Bran have been absolutely wonderful with him and assisting him with his adjustment to daycare. They are patient, understanding, kind and caring. Everyone works together as a team to help each other with all the kids. Even the director, Rebecca steps in as needed as does Jeannette. Everyone is so communicative and provides updates on his day during pick up. We also love the schedules the kids have and they release a monthly calendar with different events for the month (this week is spirit week and I love it!). This I believe really will help my son with getting used a regular school setting when the time comes. Not to mention we get a weekly food menu for the kids as snacks and lunch are provided. The staff also use an app to communicate with parents and provide daily updates as well as pictures! We get a weekly update on what the kids did for the week. I love seeing the updates and seeing my child learn. The tuition at Cadence Academy is more than fair considering everything they do and provide. It's true when they say, you get what you paid for! We truly appreciate everyone at the facility and cannot thank them enough for how great they have been with our son.

Back then, I developed serious safety concerns about the care my daughter was getting at her first daycare provider, enough to want to move her and a coworker recommended Claire's. I had toured a few facilities while pregnant, and this time, my focus was on the Montessori day cares. After visiting two or three facilities offering Montessori type curricula, I was convinced that Claire's was the best available for my daughter and went for it. The transition was difficult for my 10 month old, but her caregivers were patient, understanding and attentive to my daughter's needs even at full capacity. Within a month, my daughter settled in and I never looked back. Fast forward 1.5 years, my daughter has moved through their 0 - 18 month room, 18 - 24 month room, 24 to 30 month room and are now in the 30 - 36 month room. Each day, she comes home and surprises me with the new things she learned, how polite she is becoming, how she is learning to be neat and orderly, and how independent she is becoming, which helps me appreciate the value of a Montessori education. Her teachers at each room are all wonderful, supportive ladies who are easy-to-talk to and have been partners with a good sense of humor in my daughter's growing journey as she navigates time-outs, one biting classmate, sharing toys, potty-training, vocabulary-building, friendships and all the fun stuffs a toddler gets to enjoy. Claire has been very accessible throughout, and makes an effort to keep the grounds and facilities safe and in good working condition. Switching to Claire's was the best thing i could do for my daughter and my family. I returned to work with the confidence that my daughter is in good hands, and has been able to work more effectively without unwarranted worries and distractions.

I was having hard feelings about going back to work, but staying at home was not a feasible option. From the moment we toured Goddard, we knew we had found the right people to entrust with our girl. All of the directors and teachers know every kid's name, and there is genuine joy from the staff every time a child walks through the front door. They send us daily updates on how my daughter is doing, what she did throughout the day (AMAZING and DYNAMIC curriculum!) what she ate, and even when she went to the bathroom (as a parent, you need to know!) from day one my husband and I have always felt that our daughter was safe and incredibly well loved and cared for by the teachers and directors. The staff are responsive to any calls/texts/emails right away, and are genuinely interested in not only the child, but the family. I love all of events they put on throughout the year: from dress-up days to holiday parties, to school dances, you can tell how much the staff love the kids and how safe the kids feel with the staff. My daughter loves her teachers and is excited when we pull up to school each day. 100% recommend joining the Goddard Folsom family!

The infant/toddler room staff Kisha, Stacy and Lorna are fantastic with my son, and the other kids. You can tell they truly care and he is happy to be dropped off with them each day. They even have an app they updates me with pictures, meal times, and diaper changes so i know what's going on with him.
