While walking through the old town, I stumbled upon this place - yay, since my daughter had asked me to bring some back. They didn't have the variety available, so I went with a plain stroopwafel that came in a musical tin. Wow! That was a fun and unexpected touch. I find the prices of the fresh Stroopwafels pricey so I didn't get one. The salesperson was friendly and spoke good English, which made the experience pleasant. It wasn't busy during the said visit. It is located below ground level under a residential apartment building. Very small restaurant with twelve tables constructed of light pine wood. The main dish here is the grilled cheese sandwich which is made of melted guida cheese with thick corn bread. Absolutely loved that the origins of the sandwich are from Holland.
