Dr. Hemmerey had me numb, removed the steel wool and stitched me up and wrapped my foot in record time! He was able to see the steel wool fragment in the x-ray! No post operative pain. His staff was extremely friendly and Dr. Cesar explained everything very well, so my 13-year-old understood what was going on and felt comfortable with the procedure. A few months later, I broke a toe and never heard back from the doctor that urgent care referred me to. So I called Dr. Cesar, and his office got me in promptly. They took x-rays, and he advised me to tape it and stay off of it. A few weeks later it was still causing pain, so I went back and it turned out a fragment of bone had now detached. He recommended surgery; the staff was fantastic about communicating with me about what I needed and helped me coordinate with my primary care doctor for pre-op authorization. (Ronda was particularly helpful had lots of great advice about what things would be useful while I recuperated.) One thing I appreciate it is that Dr. Cesar does not appear to push unnecessary treatments. My fiancé came with me to a postop visit and happened asked about a particular treatment for neuropathy in his feet. Dr. Cesar asked him a couple of questions and said no, that treatment wouldn't do much to help him. I appreciated his honesty very much.

I told his office about my situation and the time constraints and they were so accommodating. He was able to get me in the next day and worked through lunch to remove the glass. He had me come back each day before the move to check in and make sure it was healing properly. Doctor Papson and his staff were so kind and absolutely great to work with!

Dr. Yoon dropped my husband and I after over ten years and her reason was " communication…read moreproblems"...that is ironic considering the fact that she failed to communicate that I had been diabetic for over five years without her communicating that fact to me along with my A1C going as high as 8. She has made some snide remarks about me personally that had nothing to do with medical visit. I had asked her if she would check my ears since I was having dizziness like positional vertigo in which she didn't check them. I also had foot pain in which her advice for me was to lose weight. I am diabetic and I feel it is important to not ignore foot pain. After sending her a message on MySparrow she finally referred me to a Podiatrist but then dropped me as a patient. So if you want a Doctor that listens to your health issues since you know your body better then any Doctor does then you don't want her. Dr. Yoon also broke Doctor patient confidentiality when she told me about my sibling being diabetic and my sibling doesn't have Dr. Yoon as her Doctor she has Dr. Marinas...Dr. Yoons associate Doctor so Dr. Yoon had no business telling me about my siblings medical issues.
