Good morning I went to this office on friday November 22, 2024 I had a Dr appointment an I did realize my local union had switched insurance not only that last time in the office I gave them my new number and they didn't update it an my brother in law with me I call him Saturday an he told me I gave them my cell number. Excellent care and follow-up for foot fracture. Staff, podiatrists, and physical therapist were all efficient, friendly, and competent.

I don't know why this place has bad reviews because it's the best! I was having some issues with big toe nails breaking off and right when I called to make the appointment the appointment setter was super nice and amazing and was able to get me in the next day. I wasn't able to come the next day but I came a week later and it was a great experience. The girls at the front desk were super nice. Dr. Allen's assistant was even nicer and Dr. Allen helped me measure my foot to see what was going on and I was shocked to see my foot had grown since I was younger which I had no idea was possible lol and she was just super nice and helped numb my foot to remove part of my toenail and I was in and out in 30 minutes. My wife went to the Rose Medical office in FEB. Took X-rays and insisted on an ultra sound that was less visible compared to the x-rays. Why was the ultrasound needed except to generate revenue. Charged $191 for an exact boot that can be purchased on Amazon for $65. The boot was too large and was used only for a few minutes. Charged $44 for a sock my wife never received. Charged $55 for lift elevator for the opposite foot that was never used. Wife called three times to say she didn't receive the sock. Staff was unfriendly and billing department was insistent that we got the sock and Matt hung up on my wife. I was at the office visit and a sock was never issues to my wife. They have an eight step process built to get a person to come in eight times to generate revenue. My wife is still in pain. read more

Dr. Oberholtzer-Classen, didn't fix my foot problem very well. My surgery was in 2017. I usually don't leave reviews because, but I have been so unhappy with my results that I finally decided that I should share this with others. I saw Dr. Oberholtzer-Classen the first time I had an appointment with Podiatry Associates. Although I had many other appointments before and after my surgery, I only saw her again on the day of my surgery. She delegated all of my appointments to her assistant. It was bothersome that I was paying for an appointment to see the doctor, but didn't actually see a doctor. My biggest issue, however, is the results from the bunionectomy on my right foot. As you may know, part of the procedure is to realign the toe bones with the bones in the rest of the foot. Since my bunion (next to my big toe) stuck out pretty far, when she pulled the toe bone over to align with it, it just moved my toe to stick out far to the side. I don't know if that makes sense, but I attached a photo Now, the part that rubs is the upper part of the toe on my right foot. The surgery just moved the pressure point. I will admit, though, that the pressure on the toe is not as painful as the pressure on the bunion was. The doctor also treated a hammer toe on the fourth digit of the right foot. Whatever she did changed absolutely nothing. In credit to her, she did make very tiny, neat stitches. So, I do not recommend Dr. Oberholtzer-Classen. I notice that Dr. Zyzda is now on the list of Doctors at Podiatry Associates. I have seen him at Colorado Podiatry Consultants. He performed surgery on my young daughter's feet and did an excellent job. This review is not for him. read more

Went here on a recommendation. Got X-rays and MRI regarding pain in my ankle. The inexperienced doctors couldn't tell what was going on and told me to just do PT, did that for a few months with no results. Went to a new doctor and on the first visit they had found I needed major surgery from just one look at the X-ray. But don't worry they are really good at making sure you pay every penny of their treatments which do absolutely nothing. Note: sole inserts don't solve everything, please get a second opinion if you do decide to go get. read more

Beware!!! It was easy to make an appointment. Everything after that was a nightmare that I hope you and your family never experience. Dr. Christopher Scotten misdiagnosed my son's injury. When we returned to his office for a follow-up visit, he had either lost or misplaced the original records and x-ray we provided so he was unable to give an accurate determination on how well he was healing - he wasn't. Fortunately we started seeing another podiatrist we highly recommend. On top of that, the online billing system sent monthly emails with $0 balance and when we eventually called to ask why we kept getting emails with $0 balance, they said they had a balance and would email an invoice. The detailed invoice they sent over was incomprehensible and in between our request to see the bill and when it was received a week later, they sent the unseen balance to collections! The balance turned out to be INCORRECT - they later admitted THEY HAD CREDITED SOMEONE ELSE'S ACCOUNT WITH OUR CO-PAY! Luckily we keep digital copies of all our receipts. They wouldn't speak to us over the phone to remedy the situation, despite numerous emails and phone calls. Their online system is a fraud and they refused to acknowledge any issues. Dr. Oberhalzer-Classen (the head of the practice) refused to communicate. They will send you to collections before they will speak to you! Please do not share my family's experience, please avoid Podiatry Associates and Dr. Christopher Scotten at all costs. RATING NO STAR -- My husband experienced a lot of pain due to his plantar fasciitis, so I called Podiatry Associates to inquire about new orthotics, since our were over 14 years old. The office told me that this clinic does custom orthotics. When we got there Dr. Allen examined my husband's feet and recommended a shot and new orthotics. I asked for the athletic orthotics (see picture left) and Dr. Allen claimed that those are not made anymore, but that their orthotics would work and if not that she would work with us to make sure we have the right kind of orthotics. After using the orthotics for a couple of weeks, my husband's paid was worth, so we went back to the clinic and my husband got a second shot that only helped for a little while, but he was not getting better so Dr. Allen told him that he would see Dr. O. Desperate, my husband wanted another shot, but Dr. O said this would not help in his case and told him to start wearing an air cast. After one night in the cast, my husband was in so much pain, that he was not able to walk for several days and I called the office to let them know that this was making things only worse. Dr. O's response was to continue with the cast despite the pain. Not only did we have to pay over $475 out of pocket for orthotics that are terrible and only work for people who are not on their feet (what is the purpose of orthotics then), but also there was no help at all from the doctors to resolve the issue. After multiple calls to the office, I was able to return the air cast that did not work, but we are stuck with expensive worthless orthotics. My husband bought $20 gel heels together with some over the counter insoles and together with his old orthotics he was able to heal his plantar fasciitis once again and he is back to walking without pain. All this pain and agony would not have happened had Dr. Allen or Dr. O actually listened. Of course we are stuck with orthotics and Dr. O refused to work with us to make sure we actually have orthotics that are usable and don't actually cause the problems. RATING - NO STAR With two ruptured disc L4-5 from a car accident 22 years ago, I see a Physical Therapist for an alignment and wear athletic orthotics (see picture light blue orthotics below). During my last visit I asked him to check my right foot because I was having pain on the outside. After he examined my foot he asked me if I am wearing orthotics and if they have the stiff plastic (see the full orthotic below). and he explained that my metatarsals are fine, but the orthotics because they are stiff, they have irritated a nerve and told me to walk without them and have new semi-flexible orthotics made. I went to Podiatry Associates with my husband to get new orthotics. I brought my old one I had been wearing for over 14 years at that point and asked to have the same ones made again. Dr. Allen told me that they no longer make those and that the one they custom make will work and if not she would work with me to make sure they are working. I called the office two weeks ago to explain the situation and Dr. O refused to help, so again, we are stuck with orthotics that cost $475 and actually need to be thrown in the trash because they cause damage to the foot. The first time I went walking 5 miles everything was fine, the second day when the pain started I started stretching. The following week the pain increased and by week 3 I could not finish 2 1/2 due to the pain. Incredible that these doctors are pushing these types of orthotics and claiming that the semi flexible kind for people who are exercising are no longer available. For a doctor, the first thing is to do no harm. This office has done enough harm and did not even try to make it right and I have come to the conclusion that the best place for foot pain is a PT rather than a podiatrist. read more

Years, and years ago, I sprained my right foot, in the same place, not once, not twice, but three separate times! I don't play any sports, or anything like that, just a bad ankle (that's what I'll go with!). I also broke my right knee a very long time ago, before the ankle sprains, and have walked with my right foot pointing out to the right just a little. Through the years, there has been so much pain in my foot, that it's been very hard to walk at times. My husband and I are walkers, both getting a minimum of 10,000 steps a day. Some days, I just can't get the 10,000. Nuts, I needed to get my right foot checked out. I researched Yelp!, as well as Health Grades, and my insurance companies website, looking for a podiatrist. I found Podiatry Associates, and decided to give them a call. I made an appointment for their Cherry Creek office. I printed up the Patient forms from online, and filled them out the night before. I highly recommend this, as there were 11 pages to fill out. Be sure to bring them with you when you go to the office. Also, if you have a recent MRI of your foot, bring that with you. I had seen an orthopaedic surgeon about my foot, and he ordered an MRI. Turns out nothing was torn, so I decided to go the podiatry route. I had a copy of the MRI, as well as a copy of the report on the MRI. I took those with me to my appointment as well. The Cherry Creek office is very nice, very clean. The interior colors are greens and beige, very comfortable and calming. They have a selection of tennis shoes that you can purchase there in their office, on display. I found this odd, but when you think about it, it makes sense; foot, shoes, podiatrist. The two women at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We talked for a few minutes, as I waited to be taken in to see the doctor. The nurse called me in, and the beginning of the end of my long foot journey and pain, was about to get started. The nurse took me to exam room #7, again, spacious, and clean. She asked me what has been going on, and I told her my history. She made notes on my chart. She then walked me down the hall, and took several xrays of both of my feet, using an xray machine that was on the floor. I have had dozens of xrays in my life, and this was the first time that I had seen an xray machine on the floor. It was actually "cute," you'll see what I mean. She took me back to the exam room, and told me the doctor would be in shortly. Dr. Charles Daniel came in, and we shook hands. He is very nice, with a great bedside manner. He told me he had already looked at the MRI, as he handed the disc back to me. Dr. Daniel then proceeded to talk to me, asking me about my history. He gently prodded my foot, asking if this hurt, it that hurt. He then used his ultrasound machine, and proceeded to exam my foot that way. When finished, Dr. Daniel then went through what he saw, which was confirmed with the MRI, as well as what he saw on the ultrasound. There were no tears in the paroneal tendons. Yay! But, they were definitely stretched way beyond normal. I also have plantar fascitis. Oh joy! He then went through my options, and we discussed things. I go back next week to get fitted for orthotic inserts. Did I mention that I have very high arches! Yes! No! I will probably also be looking at a night splint, and possibly another brace to wear when I walk, to help stabilize my ankle/foot. My ankle is so week, that my right foot rolls to the outside. Ouch! Physical Therapy is also in my near future. I have already done my research as to how much my insurance company will pay for the orthotic inserts. I know to ask for what the two devices look like (night splint, and the walking splint), so that I can research them on Amazon, as well as medical supply stores, to compare prices. I do my research well before I walk into a doctor's office, and after my visits as well, to make sure I am well informed. When I go back next week, the office staff will tell me how much my insurance company will pay for the orthotic inserts, as well as a night boot, and a splint. You make the appointment to get "casted," where they measure your foot for the orthotic inserts, and in the time between when you leave from your first appointment, to when you go back to get "casted," they call your insurance company, and get the information. I am not sure how long it will take to get the actual orthotic inserts. I'm guessing several weeks, but don't quote me on that. Dr. Daniels is very nice, with a great bedside manner. He sits and listens to you. He doesn't rush, taking his time to get the diagnosis right. He tells you your options, and lets you make the decision. His office staff is friendly and informative. The Cherry Creek office is spacious, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Daniels, and Podiatry Associates, PC. They can help you with your podiatry needs. read more

I was not told that my insurance didn't cover the supplies. Now i have a bill from Podiatry Associates in front of me for a $223 walking boot. The same EXACT boot sells on Amazon.com for $43.99. The night splint costs $21.99 on Amazon, but Podiatry Associates is charging me $129.5 for it. The lift heel elevation contraption costs $20.10 on Amazon but but Podiatry Associates is charging me $55 for it. The sock(s) for the walking boot cost about $12 on Amazon but Podiatry Associates is charging me $105.69 for the socks. Ridiculous and immoral! The actual care I received from the doctor was good. Dr. Oase is great. Very kind and thorough. However this is my second visit here and the ladies in the front office are very cold. No smiles, no concerns, no greeting. I noticed this the first time I was in, being surprised at the lack of friendly humanity. This time, same experience. I'm actually surprised at how unfriendly they are considering I haven't done anything but hand over my credit card for co-pays. I would recommend that new help be hired who genuinely care about the patients. It is vital to the overall business that the experience be welcoming from the moment you come into the office. Trust the reviews regarding billing. Went in for ingrown toenail and they said I needed to come back after some antibiotics. Applied betadine and a bandaid. $110 after insurance. I filed a complaint under the Federal "no surprises act". $110 would have been fair had they taken care of the issue which they did not. I did not return for the "follow-up" appt 3 days later. Dr. Christopher Scotten didnt impress me at all. In filing the complain under No Surprises Act, they billed CPT code 99203 which is a 30 min visit. LOL that was the whole visit including waiting in the waiting room for 10 min, and then waiting in the patient room for another 5-10, oh and waiting at the desk for 10 for "check out". Whole actual appt was probable 15 so the CPT code 99202 for 20 min visit was more appropriate. Probably less than the $110 as well. read more

I would not recommend this practice because of surprise billing. I went in for a quick ingrown toenail surgery and came out with a simple boot that was billed for $160. I wore the boot for one day which was recommended by the Dr. so I did not ruin my current shoe with blood that never appeared . It's a Velcro foot boot that Walmart or any medical supply store sells for $18. Especially during these times being taken advantage of is not right. BEWARE! This business is the most UNETHICAL business I have ever encountered. I was told cash price of 450 for orthotics. I scheduled my appointment and they demanded I do x-rays because the doctor deemed it necessary so I went ahead and did my scan on the same appointment and when I went to pay for my orthotics my bill was nearly $800. My choice was to pay $375 and get nothing (X-rays and initial appointment) or pay nearly 800 for my "$450" dollar orthotics. I felt like I didn't have a choice other than to get my orthotics at that point from them. I asked to speak to any type of supervisor or the owner of the business and they refused! I was only able to speak to the assistants in the front and each of them was telling me a different story. My wife was there at the same time but she has insurance, they are scamming the insurance companies and misleading their customers. Stay away from this business- they are sharks! read more

Aetna's new patient appointments are billed at over $200 for an appointment that took less than 20 minutes to complete with no x-rays or additional services. I imagine if you actually got treated here, their billing department would bankrupt you. I did not trust the medical advice I got at this facility and I ended up going to another medical office to get a second opinion. I have been working with Dr. Hofer for about a year and she is a great doc. Caring, warm, funny and serious about getting a person on the way to healing! I had a surgery on my foot a year ago from a hack surgeon (Dr. Stransky) and I have been in terrible pain since. Long story short, Dr. Hofer has fixed the original problem that was not addressed in first surgery and made my foot functional again. I highly recommend her for any foot and ankle problems. If I could rate a negatively I would because of how rude the women at the front office were to me. I walked in 8 minutes late, had no welcome in, hi, nothing. I got an eye roll, a whisper of "let me see if she will still take her"...before even asking my name. I took off of work, paid for the ride to the appointment, was told to check in and fill out paperwork, with NO ONE ELSE WAITING...then they tell me the doctor will not see me because I was 8 minutes late. I asked if there was a grace period of 10 minutes (life happens unfortunately) and she ignored me awkwardly until asking "could you come back tomorrow?". This was the most inhuman front desk staff you could have. No eye contact, no smiles when you walk in, no hello or hi welcome, no care for the people who altered their lives to try to make that appointment that day. If these are who you want representing you when your new patients come in to your office then I am glad I'm having to find a different doctor today. I needed a Saturday appointment immediately for an ingrown toenail that I had tried, with no success, to remedy myself. This group was the only one I found in my somewhat frantic searching. I agreed to a seemingly minor procedure that would be a permanent fix. I do not regret that decision, but here's the rub: (1) procedure was not adequately described (2) aftercare was not properly explained (3) the pain level involved in the healing process was not discussed at all (4) the site became infected (5) the advice I received when I called, describing the infection, was 100% wrong (6) and as a result, the infection festered for another full week (7) adding insult to injury, the podiatrist who conducted the follow up -- at which time, the infection was at least acknowledged, implied that the infection was my fault. And even more insult: they charged another office fee for the follow up! WHAT??? That's right: another $100. Since when has a follow up not been an integral part of the procedure??? Very unhappy with this practice and will certainly not use them again. read more

Great professional team! My advice, show up to your scheduled appointment on time. I have visited the Cherry Creek office for two seperate and painful reasons. My problems and my pain have been put at ease both times quickly and effectively. However, upon my first visit I was late for my appointment. I can relate with future reviews that the front desk staff was displeased with me, as they should and deserve to be! That's why appointments are made, is the available time slot provided by the entire team to assist you. It was my fault and in my own opinion, I was the person being rude. Every other time I have walked through the door, on time, the ladies behind the counter are friendly, helpful and smiling. They are usually more than happy to engage in conversation or leisurely chat amongst themselves. It is a comfortable office with ice water waiting for you upon arrival. Do not do business with these people. I called my insurance and had orthotics approved before making an appointment. I made the appointment and they checked to verify insurance coverage. On April 2 I went and they measured my feet . They made an appointment in 1 month to come in and pick up the orthotics. When I got there they said they weren't ready. First wasted trip as they did not call and reschedule before I made the trip. They said they would call me. One month later and no communication. I spent about 4 hours talking to them, to the insurance company and my doctor. I was told that the insurance hadn't paid because they made a mistake and used the wrong code to bill the insurance . I told them I was in a lot of pain and could they do anything else in the meantime. Yes, they said and made another appointment. Second wasted trip as I went and there was nothing else offered.So I have had 8 weeks of pain for their mistake and no solution offered other than rebilling and it may get paid in 4-6 more weeks so then another month or so of pain. I would not recommend Podiatry Associates, PC for Mortons Neuroma; I wasted much of my time, my money and my insurance's money by going to this place for my neuroma condition in my foot. They should have just been upfront with me and told me that they don't know how to treat this condition. Instead they conveyed confidence in treating my condition and just wanted to collect my co-pay and bill my insurance. Every time that I went there they were more interested in scheduling a follow up appointment than discussing my condition. Follow up appointment leads to more billing and invoicing for them. A waste of my time and money. I would recommend acupuncture and/or a physical therapist over a podiatrist (especially this one) for Mortons Neuroma. That is what has relieved my neuroma. read more

I went to see Dr Fawson for a foot fracture, which was found by ultra sound, not by xray, after I insisted something was wrong. Upon arriving for the next several appointments they continued to xray my foot, even though the fracture could not be seen by xray. When I asked why we were continuing to xray the fracture when it could not be seen by xray, the Dr. remarked that I "knew" everything. This because I questioned the treatments being done without medical necessity. In addition, I was charged $71.00 for a pair of socks to go under the boot, when I questioned it , I was told they went with the boot, incorrect I was charged extra. When trying to correct the issue, 3 times with billing I could never get a hold of the biller. I then received a phone call for payment, no problem, can I pay on line , yes they responded or by end of the month. Then received a phone call today from biller, saying she could not address the $71.00 charge for the sock because it was to late, and my bill was going to be turned over to collections tomorrow if not paid by phone today. They have lost me as a customer, I am insulted by the treatment, and I am a medical professional. read more

Made appointment for my child. Arrived sharp at appointment time with all documents prepared and forms filled out. Receptionist at the Cherry Creek Office said I was late because needed to show up 30 minutes before. I said that my wife had made the appointment and texted her that we had to be there 30 min before. She said that no one told her about being there 30 min early. Regardless. Proceeded with check in. In the first 4 minutes at the counter the receptionist said that we were late several times. I ignored. Finally, on the 4th minute when she said we are now 4 minutes into the appointment, I got concerned that my child would not receive the full attention he needs. So I said, "if you tell me about being late one more time, I will walk away. She then told me that I can change the appointment day. My child.needing medical attention, and I knowing the value of time, asked her if she is refusing service. She did.not answer and kept saying that I can reschedule. I decided to tough it out and sat down waiting. 20 minutes i to the appointment time I asked when we were going to be seen, as my time is valuable too. She said she would check with the nurse, stood up, and then proceeded to offer again changing the appointment. She never went to ask the nurse, she sat back down. 30 minutes into the appointment I again asked what's taking so long. She proceded to shout and said that I cannot treat her lime a child. I told her that she is the one that treated me like a child by telling me several times that we were late. That an adult conversation does not require multiple repetitions. She became very hostile, I have a video of this latter portion as I am sure their security cameras do as well. Finally the doctor took us in, not the nurse. He apologized saying that he was with another patient. I told him that I fully understand and that it seemed that the receptionist was doing things to turn patients away. I told him that I observed her calling patients about their 3:00pm appointments at 2:08pm and 2:09pm leaving messages that their were late and she was going to make them as "no show" and they could call and reschedule. The doctor agreed that the receptionist's behavior was unacceptable. I told the doctor that the only reason I stuck around was because my wife had said good things about him from her prior experience. At any rate, he took a sample from my son's nails to send to a lab and said that in order for us not to deal with the same receptionist, he would have the Parker office staff call me to schedule the follow-up three weeks from our January 3 visit. The doctor also said that he would speak with the office manager about the receptiomist's behavior. By January 11 no one had called, so I left a message asking for results and prescription, if any, to be sent to my pharmacy and that I would like a call from the doctor to explain results. On January 14, I received certified mail banning me from Podiatry and Associates because "confrontation and slurs made to" their staff. Slurs? Interesting choice. Confrontation? Did they not review their security cameras to see who was confrontational and shouting loudly? They may have good doctors, but their office staff and manager at least at the Cherry Creek location are clueless, rude, and do not know.how to treat those whose money ends up paying their salaries. For a doctor not to call back the patient, this is perhaps the worst part. I would doubt the office staff even provided the doctor my voice message from January 11. Very disappointed, especially since this involves a child's health. read more

I love Podiatry Associates. Too many times, I've been to healthcare providers who don't seem to care, their office is filthy or the staff is rude. It's always a gamble, but this time I won!Everything about this medical practice is stellar. Dr. O is caring and knowlegeable, her staff is welcoming and helpful and the office is well maintained.
