Making an appointment online was super easy and the people at the front desk were so friendly! I did feel pretty ripped off here. My complaint was in one foot. The doctor insisted on x-raying both of my feet despite my hesitations, didn't even look at the photos of my non-problematic foot, and then I of course ended up being charged for the extra unnecessary x-ray. I called billing to explain my frustration and was told this was "standard" process. I've been to other podiatrists and this has never been the case. I've seen orthopedists recently for similar issues, and the cost for a new patient visit and x-rays was still cheaper than what it ended up costing me to come here. Dr. Rosenthall was nice enough, but didn't give me an accurate diagnosis, and I was shocked at how much my 15 minute, ultimately inconclusive, appointment cost me. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I had plantar fasciitis, they recommended insoles and I said only if they are covered by insurance. They claimed to have called my insurance company and said they were covered and I only had a $40 co-pay. Turns out the office never asked Aetna if they were covered and then they say oh you actually owe us over $400 for the insoles. I said it was their error as they said it was covered. They refuse to help me resolve this issue and now are threatening to send me to collections. Unethical office. read more

Brought my son down for what looked like the beginning of an ingrown toenail. Dr. Rosenthall took one look at it and knew the problem. He cut off the nail faster than I could blink, and honestly I didn't even see that one coming because he's that good. You don't notice because the Dr. has a light and easy manner and fixes things on the spot. Even I couldn't have done that, after years of mothering experience and medical emergencies. But of course I didn't go to medical school. It certainly would have turned into something worse if we didn't get down there. I'm so glad Dr. Rosenthall is there to fix our feet. Dr is nice guy but semi incompetent and did not properly diagnose my foot issue then stuck to his incorrect recommendation and attempted to gaslight me into thinking I had an issue that was nonexistent. The 2 stars however is primarily for the nasty miserable secretary who answers phones and greets patients. Such a poor attitude and always on the defense for no reason whatsoever. Asked her why so miserable and only made her meaner. People with personality disorders should be getting help not interacting with patients. read more

Dr. Rosenthall was the 2nd Podiatrist I called that day, so glad the 1st call didn't work out. I was hesitant to see a Podiatrist based on a friends experience years ago, but I had reached a turning point and I had no choice. Not only did Dr. Rosenthall take care of my problem toe but he did it that day. Dr. Rosenthall was great, always asking if I was in pain and concerned about my comfort. The front office staff have got to be some of the rudest and grouchiest people I've encountered. This review is not at all about Dr. Rosenthall, who was perfectly fine the one time I saw him. But good lord, talk about people that act like anything you ask of them is putting them out. I'm glad to have found a different podiatrist where everyone from the front desk staff to the nurses to the doctors themselves are pleasant and kind enough. Then I booked another appointment two weeks ahead, and the office cancelled on me the morning of the appointment. With three tries to schedule an appointment, I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I have researched doctors for years and have not found a specialist that I have really liked, or wanted to work with for my foot pain. Until Dr Rosenthal. Bedside manner is very important to me, and Dr. Rosenthal is great. Clearly there are a lot more things that are important too, but it is hard to find doctors that are "real." Dr. Rosenthal is thorough, and gave me ALL my options including pros and cons of each. He did not push surgery and explained my issues to me in detail to make sure I understood everything, but not in any way condescending. He made sure he answered every single question I had. He does not make you feel as though he is rushed for time even though he is busy. He is beyond accommodating with scheduling. He explains things thoroughly and makes him self available for questions. He personally calls post surgery to check in. He truly cares about his patients and that is not something that is easy to find these days. read more

I was having a bunch of pain in the joint behing my big toe. Dr Rosenthall's office got me in quickly. They took some X-rays and the doctor quickly diagnosed the problem. He explained what was causing the pain and gave me options for fixing it. They took molds for orthotics and delivered them a few weeks later. The problem is getting better very quickly. Thank you Dr Rosenthall and staff. I can give this office my highest recomendation. read more

I've come across my fair share of healthcare providers, and Dr. Rosenthall is a shining star! I took my 9-year-old son as a patient and it was a great patient/parent experience. Dr. R has a great bedside manner, knows how to communicate with children and is very knowledgable and efficient. His medical assistant was very sweet and kind as well. Dr. Rosenthall is absolutely fantastic! My 7-year-old daughter had been suffering from a plantar's wart and there wasn't a pediatric podiatrist I could find. I happened upon Dr. Rosenthall's website and I am thrilled that I did. His bedside manner is second to none and he squeezed in the procedure so she wouldn't need to come back for another appointment. He was so wonderful with both my daughter and me in terms of explaining the procedure and recovery. He worked quickly and efficiently making sure that she was comforted the entire time. This doc didn't examine my toe like other I visited last week. I have a pinky toe problem and it wasn't going to better with this visit. He sent me on my way with only toe cushions that don't work. So far, my toe is sore and hasn't gotten better. Hopefully, with antibiotics it will. The doc I saw recently spent more time with me. Rosenthall said I had a hammer toe, but no x-rays were taken. I don't need an doc with an ego and this guy showed how pretty he was that day last fall. read more
