They could have said that ahead of time but due to business risk of losing customers, they intentionally did not. We stayed in Bushkill for the weekend and upon looking for fun activities to do with the family, zipling came up. We are all beginners and have never done this before. We had a party of 8 ( including teenagers, moms, and 3 young adults).. The guys who were explaining how to use the gear wear had a lot of patience with us and didn't mind explaining multiple times. After the practice course we got the hang of it and as we kept doing it we got better, by the time we finished the course we were pros. 10/10!!! It was also great that our other family members who didn't want to participate had seating and were allowed to take pictures from below. read more

Most of the staff here are really great. Very helpful and encouraging. I witnessed several staff members that would make excellent future teachers, as they were patient and caring with younger (and older) patrons trying to overcome the challenging tree courses. The website, however, is not good. You need at least 2 hours to do the tree courses, so don't book a time past 2:30. Also, the site is confusing, The zip racer is currently closed, and for $70 you can do BOTH the Zip quest (zip line from several platforms to another platform) and the tree courses (there are 5 or 6). The tree courses are graduated, so you start with yellow and work your way up. Every course starts from one central location. No charge if somebody in your group just wants to watch and follow the action on the ground. :-) We checked everything out the previous day before making a reservation, just to see it before making a committment. read more

I'M SO UPSET WITH THE STAFF here. I took my son (today) on his 10th birthday. He was told he could ride the zip racer last (and pay for that at the end) because he wasn't sure he was brave enough. Welp, we ended the course at his scheduled 2 hour time slot and we're told that the register closed and that there was no one to officially take the $10. I had SIX employees tell me there weren't enough staff to take my son on this when it was well before closing. They were all sitting around laughing and talking and clearly were just waiting for us to leave so they could go home early. We saw a bunch of staff leaving early as we were getting to our car. My poor kid was hysterical crying ON HIS BIRTHDAY! WHY would they tell us to come after his slot when it would be "closed"?! I'm so upset for him, this was really messed up to do to a kid. read more

This was our 1st visit here and was very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and very helpful . They have a great tree climbing experience with a few zip lines attached. They also have a long zip line that much higher up . My girls really enjoyed it. Prices are average in comparison to other places that do the same thing. This kind of place gives the kids and some parents other things to do besides the normal hiking , and rafting the summer activities offer. read more

This is tough to rate. Pro: cool place with mostly friendly staff except one guy who was rushing us at the end because sun was setting. Dude was yelling at everyone while other guys were nice about it. Con: so when we went all the courses were closed except one. So no choice but one course. We had two kids, 7 and 10. We arrived on Friday morning around 10:00. It was not busy so our timing was great. It was a little confusing getting there because GPS wanted to take us to the main building for exploria resorts. We saw the signage on the main road and decided to go where we saw the signs. Once we parked you have to go to a registration building but it's hard to understand that. Once we figured it out and filled out our waivers we all got weighed and were sent on our way with no real direction- we were handed out "tickets" and told ok you are good to go. Go?? Go where? I assume under the big sign- but some direction would have been nice..... Once we got to the next building we were directed to the harness room then outside to have the harnesses put on. Up next a crash course on using the clips and tweezles and trolley. And when I say crash course, I mean a crash course- we have never visited any ropes course before so we had no idea how to use the clips and other equipment. The young man demonstrating- although he told us everything we needed to know- was hard to understand and went so quickly we walked to the "test" area feeling confused and not at all confident. Once we practiced we were good but the young lady "helping " in this area was on her phone the entire time as she half watched what we were doing. It was making me agitated because we were about to go up 30 feet attached to these wires and I wanted to make sure that we were doing this right. Once we got going we were OK. There is only one spot for early "escape" but it is only after about 4 obstacles. They have multiple routes (2 of which were closed the day we went as well as the zip racers which was something we really wanted to do) We were not given a choice of the available routes. But we also did not ask- didn't know there were other options. My husband said that he wished there were longer zip runs, and that the wire was situated higher above your head- he felt it was awkward to step off. My daughter and I both kind of sat on the platform and took off that way- felt better from a sitting position. When we were done we asked if we could go on another route and we were told no. So essentially you are paying for one route. We did get a discount because the zip racer was closed but I think we only got the discount because I mentioned it when we paid. Would we go back? Yes. Could they do better? Yes Would I tell someone else to go? Yeah- but I'd tell them what i just told you. read more

We have gone here twice. Both times it was great! My son really enjoyed himself on the kidventure! It is doable for my little guy but not easy. He really gained a lot of confidence going through the course! We liked how we can stand by him and help him if needed. The staff each time have been great. There is also a discount during the winter! Make sure to bring good gloves, since you will be holding on to metal lines and hooks. We will definitely be going back. I recommend going early because the first time we went the line was literally out the door with one cashier, looked nuts. Luckily we were one of the firsts! read more

$49/adult for rope course + 1000ft zipline. Courses: After getting set up, brief instruction tutorial provided, then head up to start on the easy courses. Each courses consist of variety of obstacles to go through between each platforms. You're tied to a safety cable with a harness and a set of carabiners at all times Green/Easy: First 2 are easy courses. Each obstacles are pretty stable (still moves around but easy to balance on) but pretty thrilling if you're afraid of heights (like me) with several short zip line segments. Not that high up in the air. Pretty good variety of obstacles. For first timers like me, I'm pretty sure it would be challenging enough to be very fun. Blue/Moderate: This course is MUCH harder and located MUCH higher up on the trees compared to the easy ones. The obstacles don't have as many cables on them so it's very unstable and feels like you'd fall off very easily. It's okay to fall since you're hooked on to the safety cables, but it still makes you cling for you life! It's very very very thrilling if you're afraid of heights. You finish up by hooking yourself onto a self-retracting lifeline and then jumping off the tree. How often do you get the chance to jump off a super tall tree!? Black/Hard: The facility closed before I had the chance to try Zipline: 1000ft long. Pretty fun. They have 2 side by side so you can race your friend! The only downside I would say is that they only have porter potties for toilet use with a porter potty hand washing station. Overall, totally worth every dollar. It's very fun and it's a great workout. Great for all ages! read more

Can you say awesome! My daughter and i had a wonderful time. The employees were friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond. Dont be afraid, you can start off a couple feet off the ground, but even at 30 feet off the ground you dont fear falling. The zip line was great. You basically pay $50 for adults (12 & Up) which far exceeds admittance into far better parks like Camebeach and Dorney Park! I came here for zip-lining as part of my bachelorette weekend in the Poconos, and I will say that it did not disappoint! We went on a Friday afternoon, and it was not crowded at all! The staff were informative but also had a great sense of humor. We did the Zip Quest and Zip-Line Racer which took about an hour and a half to complete. They were challenging but fun! I was afraid that the course would be geared toward children, but it definitely was not (however, they do have a kids course). I highly recommend this place for a unique adventure! read more

Had great time. Visited on a humid Saturday in August. Extremely friendly and courteous staff, said that they have been open for a little less than a year. Entire facility was clean, and fresh. Usually am sensitive to heights but the equipment was well taken care of, of a very high quality and gave me more than enough confidence to trust it with my life at over 30' high in the trees. Don't skip the ropes course and just do zip lines. The 5 courses are challenging but all manageable for modestly athletic people. Weight limit on course was 265lbs. My family and I visited today, we had a great time. My kids, 13 and 10, absolutely loved it and were able to do everything but the black course in the treetop adventure. We also did the Zip Quest and Zip Racer. The park is well-kept, neat and clean. Equipment seems up-to-date and sturdy. All of the employees were nice and very helpful. They give you a training session and there is a low to the ground practice course before you start. Employees are stationed throughout the courses in case you need help. Once you get the hang of the system, it's very easy to operate and once I understood it, any apprehension that I had completely disappeared. There are two clips from your harness to the wires. One has to be locked before you can move the other to the next wire, so you are attached at all times. My kids operated it easily themselves. They were far ahead of me most of the time, and it didn't worry me a bit. This was such an amazing, active, fun way to spend the day and this company runs a great operation. read more

2 kids 14 and 12 did the ropes course and the zipline at the end. Overall the kids had a great experience. The price was a little steep. The only thing I didn't like was seeing staff members who were supposed to be supervising the course with their noses buried in their phones. There needs to be a 'zero phone policy' for staff who are supposed to be supervising. That really bothered me. A great place for kids of all ages mine are 12 & 14 they LOVED it. The staff was helpful, friendly & seemed just plain excited to be working there. My 12 year old son brought his GoPro camera but did not have the correct mount to go on the ziplines. Checked Google Maps and called before coming. Both said they were open yet when we got there they were closed. We walked to the Villas at Treetops and talked to the front desk who told us they are closed Tuesday and Wednesday during this season. $60 on a cab and two rude front desk workers later, we are not happy about the service we received. We were just visiting the area for a few days so it definitely put a damper on things. Spent the weekend of August 18th in the Poconos and was looking forward to doing the zip line at night. Was so looking forward to doing this that I actually paid for an extra run and did none!!! Unfortunately it didn't appear the staff really wanted to work that night. It was the one activity we chose to do and they ruined it for us!!! They were aloof and seemed unconcerned that the harness was loosening with every movement. Their response was "It'll be more comfortable when you sit." When I sit???? Really??? We felt like we'd fall out of the harness. Not to mention the poorly lit walkways that supposedly one of them went back to get a flashlight for but did nothing to light our way. They never even turned on the flashlight. We did not feel safe doing the zip line with the staff that was present. They were more interested in conversing with each other than interacting with us, the customer. No verbal instructions were given, no interaction other than to say "stand here" or "turn around" or whatever else have you. I am extremely angry and upset that this company took my money and did nothing for us when we expressed how upset we were with the so called guides. We told them at the platform that we were not feeling very comfortable they way things were being handled. They could care less and seemed annoyed. We felt forced to abandon our run and find our way back to the harnessing area. Yes, by ourselves since our guides decided they'd go zip lining instead. Professionalism and courtesy at its best ...... not even close!!!! read more

By far the worst customer service of any establishment in the Poconos. Little to no assistance with harnesses. Attendants were miserable with attitudes. No real training for kids prior to stepping onto zip line course. No attendants at the tree stations 20'-40' in the air to assist children with insuring clevis's are secured properly. We took 5 kids ages 8-12. Never again. Awful experience and a complete waste of $120. I would strongly suggest that you do not bring your children here. read more
