Pocono Soap is the kind of shop you wander into "just to browse" and then leave with a bag that could double as a workout weight. I first discovered it in summer 2024 and promptly shopped myself into blissful exhaustion. The staff are as warm and welcoming as the scents drifting through the air, and the store is perfectly arranged so you can easily meander from bath and skincare products to candles, stationery, and quirky little tchotchkes perfect for Pennsylvania souvenirs. Every item I picked up smelled incredible, but the "Beach" line stole my heart--and, eventually, my coworker's too after I gifted them some. When I saw it was back in stock this summer, I didn't even hesitate before ordering online. Honestly, it's probably a blessing that I live out of state, or I'd be in here every weekend. If you're ever in the Stroudsburg area, do yourself a favor: stop in, take a deep breath, and prepare to fall in love. Highly, highly recommended! read more

I used Pocono Soap as the favors for my sister's bridal shower. I always felt like my questions were being answered and the process was so smooth. I worked closely with Tina regarding scent (I chose Lavender Lemongrass), wrapping, design, and shipping. I went with the Guest Bar size since we needed to order a lot. The soap is such a good "portion" and will be long lasting. I had only wished the soap was shaped differently but that is just a matter of preference. The soap was cut in small but very dense squares as opposed to a bigger but thinner square more representative of a regular bar of soap. That is just me being picky but either way they were beautiful and everyone absolutely loved them!! read more

Stopped by here yesterday looking for a souvenir gift for my best friend back home. I'm vacationing in the area so I wanted something other than your typical mug or t-shirt that had the name pocono in it. Luckily I was able to find this cool shop! It's a really small place but definitely had a lot of different items. They had soaps, lotions, candles, jewelry, etc. Unfortunately all the soaps I saw had shea butter in it, which my friend is allergic to so I had to choose something else. I went with the moscato stick lotion and it smells absolutely incredible! I'm kind of upset I didn't get one for myself but I think they sell online as well (not sure). Home made products that the are cute and affordable. They have a variety of products from lotions, bar soap, essential oils, bath bombs and plenty more. They also have cute merchandise and sassy signs. They take cash and card. The best customer service you can ask for. There are so many things to look at in this cute shop they know exactly how long to let you wonder with out making you feel uncomfortable. The girls behind the counter know how to make creams and the bars and would love to help find you the right product for you! From smells to skin irritation they obviously use the products that they sell and it makes a difference that they believe in their product. It is such a sweet place browse. The whipped hand creams are a must buy. They go on smooth and do not leave a sticky film on your skin. It leaves your hands feeling silky smooth. I wanted to make bath bombs with my little sister and they showed us the bulk items we needed and explained different ways to make them. My wife and I took a soap making class this past weekend (2/16/20). Pocono soap is a great place. Before we took the class we looked through the shop. Their products are hand made and are made with care and top quality. Everyone in the shop was extremely friendly. Tina was our instructor. She is amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She is the head soap maker and really knows her stuff. We couldn't ask for a better experience. We highly recommend Pocono soap. You won't be disappointed with their service and products. read more

I stopped in this place after a late breakfast. There was a nice selection of soap, home-made body sprays, bottles of essential oil, and more. I liked the unique selection of soaps and purchased two. The soaps are fairly priced at $5 each. I'd like to buy more and fortunately this place has an Etsy shop so I'll be checking that out when I can't get to this little store (I am from out of town.) I only wish there were more soaps that were 100% natural with only essential oils. I understand this can be difficult with some scents like "cherry blossom" although I would be willing to pay more for a nice natural soap with actual cherry blossom leaves, rather than fragrance oils :) When I was there I only saw one soap with only essential oils and that appeared to be the oatmeal/honey soap bar. Perhaps there are others with only essential oils and they were out of stock. Still a cute store!! read more
