Environment was chill, only like 1 waitress but she did the best she could serving like 20 customers. Ordered some nice cold big beers, appetizers were delicious! They offer ski ball, bar tops, a bar lounge, and once you walk in you'll immediately see 64" television screens in almost every direction - perfect for sport fans! If I could give Less stars I would. First off it was a busy day due to it being the Dallas game. This was at the 5819 nw loop 410 location. All the staff was doing their best to keep up. But the one bar tender (female with tattoos on left forearm) was absolutely rude and super aggressive. i asked one question to her which she replied with as much attitude as you could give and she walked away before I could ask for a drink. However, I regret to say that my encounter at Pocket's Billiards left me with nothing positive to share. On Sunday, July 16th, I visited Pocket's Billiards with a group of close friends to celebrate a forthcoming life event. The evening started with an unsettling pat-down of my partner upon entry, accompanied by a request to search my small clutch purse. This initial red flag hinted at the sketchy nature of the establishment. Nevertheless, we proceeded and initially waited at the bar. Despite the place being relatively quiet, the bartender paid no attention to us, engrossed in her personal phone activities. While I generally overlook minor issues, her behavior was off-putting. Eventually, she came over, and I ordered a "double vodka soda," while my partner requested a Michelob. Engaging in conversation with my friends, I wasn't vigilant about how the bartender prepared my drink. I consumed it without suspicion. However, when I received my second round of double vodka soda, my partner noticed that the bartender was pouring top-shelf liquor, namely Titos, even though I hadn't specified it. Normally, bartenders either inquire about preferences or assume the well option in such cases. To our surprise, when my friends ordered Palomas, their drinks turned out excessively strong, rendering them undrinkable. Politely, they requested a touch of grapefruit juice to tone down the intensity. Astonishingly, the bartender claimed they were out of grapefruit juice but added a splash of grapefruit vodka instead. One of my friends then asked for a side of sprite as a substitute, to which the bartender reluctantly agreed. We found this substitution logic perplexing and questioned why we weren't simply informed about the unavailability of grapefruit juice. Given that three of my friends had worked as bartenders for years, they were well-versed in proper etiquette. We speculated that the bartender might be new to the profession and tried to be understanding. We had reserved a pool table and were enjoying ourselves until I decided to switch back to liquor due to feeling full from dinner. When I approached the bartender and explicitly requested a double well vodka drink, she prepared it accordingly. However, when I returned for another round, I asked a bar back for an itemized receipt. Upon inquiring, the bartender became defensive, prompting me to record the conversation. I wanted evidence that I had remained composed while explaining the issue with her assumption of serving me the most expensive option, even though I hadn't specified the liquor. Such situations often devolve into a "he said, she said" dispute, and I wanted to ensure a fair assessment. I discussed the matter with the manager on duty, Michael, who said he would need to consult the owner regarding reducing the charges to well vodka. We promptly closed our tab, and despite the circumstances, I still left a tip for the bartender as a gesture of goodwill. So been here more than once both day and night. During the day is good to have drinks , eat and play some pool. Hadn't had any issues until this time around when I went at night . I would suggest you keep tabs on what you order since I was overcharged and then charged a gratuity of $77. I mean really gratuity. That was way too much for them to charge for service that was slow and yes it was busy but if someone is that busy you get someone to help you so you can service better . So if I go again I will definitely go during the day instead so I won't be overcharged. read more

I was really excited to see a new pockets by my side of town, stopped by and was really disappointed with the service. The building was beautiful and clean but service was bad . We ordered drinks and took a long time to get a beer and a cocktail. Also cocktail was very disgusting like bartender didn't know how to make drinks. Bartender was very rude as well he said he was to busy to help me when there was less than 10 people there when all I wanted was some olives. I will not come back to this location I rather drive to the other one on 410 where the service is better. read more
