If you don't leave a tip even though you're picking up your order, your food is not ready when they say it's going to be ready. You end up waiting 55 mins and it's cold. Terrible, terrible, terrible service. My food sat on the counter and was cold when they finally gave it to me. Other than that, food was ok. If you order online, the only way not to leave a tip is to tap other...pathetic. You shouldn't have to leave a tip to get your food on time and the app shouldn't be rigged to force you to leave a tip to someone that is not delivering your food, or serving you drinks. read more

When I first moved to Pineville in April 2023, I stopped at this place for a Oyster Po-Boy. Waited for the sandwich and left to go home to eat the sandwich. When I unraveled the wrapper, I discovered a shrimp po-boy. When I called to tell them of the error, I got a very dismissive; "what do you want me to do about it". Terrible!! I paid 42 dollars for old, cold fish, limp fries and no condiments!!! I had no silverware or anything!!! The alligator was ok but i am thoroughly displeased. There food is OK but they put a $1.50 delivery charge on a order that I picked up at the drive thru. I was funny because the order said take-out and then had a delivery charge. I just ordered the bbq chicken ranch salad. The bbq chicken ranch tasted different (better) than the side of ranch dressing. The salad was huge! Was on my way to New Orleans and stopped on this sandwich joint on the way there. She ordered the shrimp po boy and I ordered the cajun po boy. The cajun is a take on the philly cheese steak. It's filled with small cut bits of meat accompanied by olives, lettuce and a tomato. Sandwich failed to deliver. It was lacking meat. It needed double the amount of meat to even compare to a philly cheese steak. The shrimp po boy was more satisfying. It was fried but needed seasoning. Bread was a bit thicker than i would like it. Also harder to chew. Expected a softer bread. Wouldn't come back again. Place definately is a divey place and in the middle of the town. read more

Such a fun stop on our way through LA. Really enjoyed sitting down for hearty, big portions. The fries are great too! We ordered the Fish Po Boy and the Rajun Cajun. Very disappointed! alligator po' boy was inedible batter was way too salty (and I like salt) over cooked gator, and batter was soggy from all the mayo or fry grease after a 5-10min delivery ride absolutely don't recommend I expected something good from Louisiana but I've had better gator in north Texas this was over cooked little pieces. Less meat than 2 Mc Donald's chicken strips. I won't order from this restaurant again ,but if you do I would steer clear of this sandwich. unless you feel like throwing $15 away..... I looked all over Alexandria for a po-boy shop, for some reason they are very hard to find in middle LA. I stopped by Po-boy Express and picked up "Super Cajun" to go. I was working a midnight to 10am shift so I picked the po-boy up at about 6:30 pm and didn't have a chance to eat until around 4 or 5 am. The sandwich held up well and was still very tasty. I think they have about 40 different po-boys. I would like to have returned and tried the fried shrimp, maybe next time. I had heard about how roast beef and gravy po boys are a specialty in New Orleans and was happy to see them on the menu here. Unfortunately, the sandwich, though tasty, seemed like something I could have made at home. The meat was deli slices of roast beef. They tasted fine, but I guess I was hoping for homemade roast beef. The roll was plenty big, but the amount of meat had to be spread out along the whole roll, so there weren't super meaty bites in any one place throughout the sandwich. And with the gravy in there, it was super messy and the meat and cheese kept sliding out of the roll. When I asked about the homemade chips on the menu, the girl behind the counter gave me an order and didn't charge me for them. I thought that was awfully nice of her. When I finished and tried to pay the guy in the kitchen for the chips, he told me not to worry about them. The chips were certainly hot and crispy, but had been fried at least twice and were quite oily. I'm guessing they're made ahead of time and then deep-fried again to order to give them a "just out of the frier" taste. I love deep-fried food, but these were a little too oily for even me. The dining room itself was almost empty, dimly lit and a bit on the depressing side. The restroom was sad. If the place had been packed with locals, it might have been easier to tune out the dismal surroundings, but atmosphere is not this joint's strong point. If you are sleeping on this place YOU BETTER WAKE UP!!!! I ordered the fried fish basket and it was better than advertised. 7 large fillets and plenty of fries. The food came out hot and was seasoned very well. Although I gave this place a 5 star rating it was only for the food. On Fridays this place has a special, that I was not informed of until I already had paid for my meal and was leaving the drive thru, of a buy one get one free on fish baskets. This business has 2 locations. One in Alexandria and one in Pineville. The people in Alexandria location made this clear to customers. Pineville location if you don't go inside you won't know about it because you have no clue of it from the drive thru. Also the worker didn't mention it to me when I placed my order. I will never go to this place again! I used to love this place, but the last couple of time me and my boyfriend went they were so rude my food was burnt and cold. So was he's.
