They quoted us $20,000 but I talked them down quickly to $18,000 because we were doing much of the tear out and the tile, getting our own vanity and fixture, and I was paying cash. They hastily had me sign paperwork to get that price. I told her I didn't have my glasses on but she explained it was just everything we had discussed. We had 3 days to reject thank goodness. My husband started looking through the contract and actually it was hardly anything in there that we had discussed. They included that any verbal agreements were null and void. Basically they were going to fix our leaks and put in a new Costco looking light, not taping, texturing, etc. they were going to add the insert without the things we asked for and do nearly nothing otherwise. We called and canceled, went to the main office and talked to the General Manager. So he made an appointment with us to come look with the plumber. He sounded sincere. The General Manager called back with nearly double the first price we agreed upon. Although they were very nice people overall, we would have paid more than double and done most of the work. My husband went to college for project management and worked in tile and flooring for 25 year but had back surgery and needs another. We are both on Social Security. They did not have this so called help for seniors, etc. We have now contacted other contractors. We will be saving 4 times the amount for what we asked for in the first place that ended up not in the original contract we were given and the initial things we asked for will be done. This company is a typical bait and switch and relies on you to not read the contract because they are calling it change orders. I will never recommend a company who listens to what you say you want, promises you all the stuff and the we would have not gotten any of the things we asked for in the shower. The plumbing would not have been what we agreed upon and we would have to do more work than we are physically capable of. Get more than one estimate, get several. You can be the contractor of your own home and hire your own subs if you do your own research.

Do not use this company for custom glass! I had a custom glass shower door/panel installed for my…read morewalk in shower. Since this is custom they sent out their own person to measure the glass. Normally when a professional measures for the glass they would account for all slopes. I have a tile bench that required a notch cut. the bench is sloped so water will run properly. The first panel was cut wrong and the company had to reorder. They blamed the manufacturer. The second panel was cut to almost the exact measurement for the lip which didn't account for the rail thickness/slope. So this panel was not going to fit unless the backing for the Channel rail was removed on the under side lip of the bench. I was okay with this being done as no one will know this was done except for myself and the installer. I also was going on the third scheduled install with them and was ready to have the glass done. They then proceeded to install my shower door. I asked them not to crack my tile. The lead installer was doing a good job but when the helper went to screw in the bottom side hinge he proceeded to force the screw in. Stripping the screw and cracking the tile behind the hinge. Picture is attached for reference. At this point I want nothing to do with this company and will be taking all my future business to Jim's Glass in Walla Walla, WA. I did send them an email a week ago to respond to my concerns and problems but they went unanswered. Maybe this was an off hand experience but did learn through asking around that when this was Yale glass it was a much better company and has lost its quality since then.
