This one is conveniently located in the corner of the Target parking lot at Pelican Place, 3830 Gulf Shores Parkway, Lot 4, with walk-up and drive ATM's  When I retired here a few years ago I had to switch banks and I chose PNC and found they had nice people and super flexible options for banking. Like the savings, checking, and spending account that allows you to manage your funds with no fees. Of course, in addition to personal banking, they also do small business as well as corporate. They do some financial planning stuff for retirement and investment like traditional IRA and Roths plus you can get deeper into investments with mutual funds with PNC investments affiliates, including PNC Wealth Management or PNC Institutional Asset Management. There are over 2000 locations in 25 states from Florida to Massachusetts with 55 locations in Alabama and 7 within 25 miles of my zipcode. It's also super convenient because both our kids live in Pittsburgh, and the bank formerly known as Pittsburgh National Corporation, is perfect for doing needed transactions with them. They also provide online and mobile banking options for convenient access to your accounts on the go. Bottom line: They offer competitive rates on deposits and investments, the people are friendly and knowledgeable but I still have to travel to Foley for a replacement ATM card.  Hours: Mon - Thurs 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Fri - 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Sat & Sun Closed To learn more about the services offered by PNC Bank in Gulf Shores, visit their website at: https://www.pnc.com/ or check out their Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/pncbank/

Dollar Bank has always had one of the best on-line banking systems going for it which is why I like…read moreto do my banking here. Like most banks you can "deposit" your check remotely by taking an image of both the front and back. Their ATMs are free at all places noted by "Allpoint" whenever you are traveling. They offer free checking. I have received very good customer service each time I visit but the best thing I like is how their online banking works. Once you set it up and link your account you can add merchants from either a drop-down menu or "add your own" if you don't see one listed. You can also pay a person. When the merchant is added it will show you the number of days the amount you specify paid will be deposited in that merchant's account. The money is normally withdrawn immediately unless you schedule a future payment. The vendor will still get it in the time-frame specified. If they need to cut a bank check then the process is a little longer. The best part I like is that if the merchant fails to receive your payment by the guarantee due date and if it coincides with your payment due date then the bank will take responsibility for it after an investigation. Like most banks they offer credit cards as well as debit and their interest rate is not the greatest but that is to be expected. They now offer "Apple pay" if you are tech savvy and wish to use your IPhone with a certified vendor. They do have a "funds availability" once you deposit a check. So please don't think the entire amount is immediately available. Check with the bank on this matter. They only time funds are immediately available is when you are making a cash deposit. I've been relieved of having to worry about sending large sums of money though the mail when the occasion arises through this system.

Two no-shows, two weeks wasted, and no accountability…read more I scheduled an appointment with Aire Serv of Sewickley for 6/24 in the noon window. No one showed up, and no call was made that day to explain. The following day, someone did reach out to reschedule, and a new appointment was set for 7/1 in a 9am-12pm window. On 7/1, the technician again never arrived. I called at noon for an update and was told someone would call me back. That call never came. I called again at 2pm, and was again told I'd receive a callback with an update -- no explanation was offered, and at that point I had no reason to believe it would actually happen. I ended up canceling the appointment myself. Two weeks after my initial call, my issue remains unresolved, and I've now taken two half-days off with nothing to show for it. Aside from the one callback to reschedule after the first no-show, there was no proactive communication about delays and no real accountability for the missed appointments. If you need reliable, communicative service, I cannot recommend this company. Repeated no-shows, combined with a lack of follow-through on promised updates, made this one of the most frustrating service experiences I've had.
