PNC bank is a chain banking service found nearly everywhere but is based in Pittsburgh. This particular branch is undergoing renovation outside which is part of the outdoor renovation of the Crafton Ingram shopping center.
They have a drive through an ATM, and of course you can go in for all your financial needs. They also participate in a service called Zelle where you can "pop" money to another individual without needing their bank account details. Should you receive Zelle money from another individual then the money will be automatically deposited into the account you choose once you set up this account online or download the Zelle app.
Staff is friendly and helpful. On this particular visit I had to make a cash withdrawal and noticed that the withdrawal slips were no longer on the table with the deposit slips. I was directed to a teller who handed me one. I asked her why the change.
She told me that people were signing their names to blank withdrawal slips and other people were getting these withdrawals and forging the amounts. PNC does check ID when you make a cash withdrawal so I found this to be a bit confusing on my part. Nevertheless,I roll with the punches. You can also do online bill pay from your checking account. They also cash savings bonds and do pretty much all your regular banking needs.
Please be aware of the fact that they do charge fees for certain things. Consult with the branch for further information. One of the reasons why I stop here is that this shopping center has several different banks and makes it easier if I want to move money from one bank to another fairly quickly.
I do plan to investigate this no cash withdrawal forms are prevalent elsewhere. read more
