I didn't make an appointment so when I walked in I was greeted and "got in line" on my phone using a QR code and texting system. I barely had to wait before I was able to sit down and address what I needed. Sometimes when I talk to people in finance they make me feel like an idiot for not having the same level of financial literacy they do. Mansplaining? Perhaps. Banker-splaining? Definitely. Not so with Kevin! He sat down with me and was down to earth, kind and answered all my questions clearly and thoroughly without making me feel stupid or rushed. Kevin patiently helped me not only select a credit card that fits just want I need, but printed a new slate grey debit card to replace my falling apart ugly orange one and switched my one account to a performance select account. I'm happy to know I'm making the most of my money. Because I had such a positive experience, I came back again to make sure a check that I mobile deposited went through. Adira, the teller I saw, was so nice and helpful. If you have any financial/PNC questions or concerns, the Miracle Mile Branch is your place to go! I like walking up to the teller and seeing people in person. I don't want to be pushed towards technology or making deposits in a slot. Let me visit with someone and wait in line if I want to. I've noticed if a line gets long for tellers, a banker often jumps in to help which is great. Business bankers do a great job. Interestingly enough, PNC moved from a building that was maybe no more than 1000 feet away to this location. That aside, this is a fancy new building that provides all of the up to date technology that you would expect to find from a bank nowadays. Conveniently located near several shopping plazas makes this a short stop if you need to include the bank in your errands for the day. Drive thru available with a drive up ATM for fast car banking.

This review is just for this particular branch. If you have a basic deposit or withdrawal, the tellers can do that. But anything remotely complicated, the tellers will screw it up. On any given day the tellers are 1) chatting between each other to the point that you feel like you're being intrusive for deigning to go up to conduct business, 2) deer in the headlights like it's their first day and they have no clue, 3) if you're getting cash back, say $40 and you ask for a twenty, ten, five, and five singles instead of the two twenties they got out, and the obvious disgust for this not very special request. Type number 4 is the worst, though: the Nosy Nellie. I went to get a cashier's check to close on some real estate. The teller asked me if the amount of the check was the sales price, where the property was located, if I was moving into that house. I finally had to say I don't feel comfortable answering these questions, and NN became a big grump. In a word, don't go unless you absolutely have to, like the ATM is down and you need to make a deposit or get cash.

The staff here is excellent. They have a person dedicated to greeting you and allocating someone to your needs. There are always tellers available, and they always have a positive attitude--not just a lack of a negative attitude, but an actual genuine desire to help you. We have our safe deposit box here, and we can always get at it within 5 minutes. They literally rush to find someone with keys. It's remarkable.

She brightened up my day and made what would usually be an exhausting hour and a half expedition into the wild world of banking not only tolerable, but wonderful. She went the extra mile in so many different aspects to open my account and get the job done well, while still being affirming and understanding. During the periods we were on hold, she was happy to explain anything I had questions about and clarify anything that may seem confusing. I have a follow up appointment next week to make sure that I'm on the right track to being more money literate and properly switching my bank account over. I definitely recommend her. :)

This location is terrible. The treatment I received upon trying to open a checking account was…read moreawful. After asking me for more identification than just my state issued ID and finding out that I was not a student anywhere, the tone changed. They clearly did not want my business after that, denying any other form of ID I presented, including my learner's permit which provided my proof of identification and address. After I was treated so rudely and gladly turned away by them, I went to another location to try my luck there. At the other location I was greeted with a smile and an employee who was happy to open a checking account for me with all of the identification I had previously tried to use. So, unless you are under 18 or over 18 and are a student with a student ID card, I would not go to this location to do business. Judgmental, dismissive employees make for a very unhappy customer.
