When I tried to ask why they needed notice, the teller had the nerve to have an attitude with me. I am sorry, I was under the impression that banks were required to have money on hand, isn't this the point. Well since I do have a choice as a consumer, I took the cash and the rest in a draft and closed the account pronto. What's worse is this bank while holding a big chunk of my money has never one time made an offer to me, no credit card nothing. This is the location closest to them…read more We've always had great experiences with the staff here, unlike my own experience with my PA locations where staff wear obnoxious red shirts and are rather stuck up.  The staff are friendly and want to be helpful.  Apparently, they also cater to Spanish speaking customers as well. On several occasions I've overheard tellers speaking Spanish to customers. That's commendable good customer care. On this occasion I accompanied my parents to close their safe deposit box.  Michael Marino helped us go through the process. Even if he didn't outright put a big smile on his face, he was friendly, courteous, and accommodating. We really appreciated what he did for us during this visit.  We also enjoyed the short but pleasant small talk. The location is central and convenient, off on Main Street downtown Freehold. But the flip side is having to put up with crazy downtown traffic and lights, which could add 5-10 minutes during rush hours.  Ample parking in its own parking lot, accessible both from the Main Street and side street.  Interior is vast, well lit, and clean.  Overall, I'm very satisfied with this Wells Fargo Branch.  I would highly recommend it.

This Red Bank branch has come a long way! We needed a branch in this area for years; when they…read morefinally opened, I was very disappointed with the tellers' service. Once, I waited in line (only 1 person ahead of me already with a teller) for 14 minutes. I had to go outside to feed the meter during that wait time, as I had put only 10 min. of parking time on it. I came back in; nothing had changed....the same customer was still with the same teller. When I mentioned that 14 min. was a long time to cash a check, the teller rebuffed me, saying "oh, I'm sure it wasn't 14 min"! But, it was! I avoided this branch for years after that, driving all the way to Long Branch every week to bank. A few years have gone by; the tellers are attentive and greet you when you walk in. There is free parking for 6 cars (tight!). I haven't waited 14 min. in years, for any teller service. Great turn-around.
