If you want a large bank with horrible customer service the kind of service when you call you can't reach any decision makers than this is you bank. Avoid Capital One at all cost. There are several other women, who I assume are tellers, wandering around and greeting people at the door to tell them that the computers are down NATIONWIDE. Apparently, if you have a debit card or account card, you can use the ATM outside, and the teller is happy to walk you through the process, but most customers are leaving, disgruntled. Can't say I blame them. This isn't how I want to bank either, so we will be leaving to visit Chase across the street. The line to the ATM out front is stretched to the parking lot. There's a dude on a dirt bike and a child crashing into the front door and everything else with a shopping cart that must have been stolen from a store nearby. This is a true sh!tshow. Seriously, don't even consider this place to bank. NOTHING should be this complex.

That means for 20 yrs i have cashed us foods checks or deposited them at this location. Everyone there knows me. My mortgage is there, my second mortgage, car loan and my child also has an account there. Ok, so from april the 17 til july the 8 i got zero money and my wife is disabled she dont get any money either and unemployment denied me. Did I mention, I also have 4 kids. Back to my story, on july 8 i got a severance check from us foods. Finally money, I go to the bank on a friday they told me they didnt have enough money to cash my check. Ok well like always deposit it as cash so I can use it. NOPE. Was told to come back later when they got more money. So I did and again NOPE. They needed money for other costumers. What? so we go back and forth passing the check through there machines and looking at watermarks. Til Finally she said the check was to wrinkled . WTF and she put in the computers it was ultered??? So i couldn't take it to another bank. I was furious. It took 7 days to get the check reprinted. The following friday after a dozen calls to corporate BOA and the BBB I was able to cash the new check a week later. Oh yeah, why did i go to BOA to cash it, Simple IT WAS A BOA ISSUED CHECK thats who my former employee banks with. Needless to say im done with them for ever

So when we decided to open a savings account, we decided to explore other options. If you'd like, you can read about our exploits in my other reviews, but suffice it to say that Chase was our THIRD try. It really should have been our first. We were pleasantly greeted at the door. The bank is pristine, clean and spacious. There's a little table with lollipops! LOLLIPOPS!! BLUE ONES!! Seriously, nostalgic and fun. We were the only customers inside, and Jeremy was immediately escorted into a glass-enclosed kinda office. There were no complications opening the account. The process was quick and efficient and accomplished within ten minutes. Then Jeremy was sent into another room to deposit the money we'd been carrying around for about 2 hours, during our search for a decent bank in Dundalk. It was such a relief to get the task accomplished. We were made to feel appreciated, and that goes a long way. Would recommend

She took more than 10 mins as she doing my transaction looking at the computer kept writing little notes down on paper more than 4 times. Are you writing down my social security number and log in? Are you trying to steal from me? I felt very uncomfortable with her. No one has ever done that. Her nice demeanor doesn't cover up her bad intentions. Someone there at the bank should please take a look at the security camera check what she is doing.
