Worst bank ever. My dad was diagnosed with cancer and entered hospice quickly. He wrote us a check…read moreout of his account to have money to finish paying for funeral costs after his passing. Rosedale Federal denied the check (there were plenty of funds in there and the check was for less than $5,000. They called a few days later and said they needed to speak to him before they would accept the check. At that point, he had a breathing tube. His POA spoke to them and they wouldn't accept her response. So they said they could not accept the check and would not release funds. Fast forward to his death a few days later. We tried to go to the bank and they refused to even tell us the balance or use the check he had written. I had the death certificate which listed me as next of kin and we had his living will. They basically are stealing his money and preventing us from paying for his grave marker We had zero issues with his other banks but Rosedale is horrible and I cannot recommend them to anyone.

I have encountered a number of issues and have been stopped from conducting business on too many occasions because a new "form", more "documentation" or legal hoops and hurdles had to be dealt with. I over heard another person having a similar issue while in the office today. Do yourself a favor, take your business elsewhere....like me!

Not too mention it's an inconvenience, what used to be 12-minute ride to the Bel Air location is now a 30 minute drive and another 15-20minute wait! The Golden ring location is too small, there are only always TWO TELLERS WORKING, and there is always a LINE!!!! The parking lot is always congested . The staff is ALWAYS NICE & PROFESSIONAL ! The president of the credit union lends to who he wants, and turns down who he wants, regardless of credit worthiness. Forgot about complaining to the board of directors. They are ALL his puppets and will side with him regardless. He's been getting away with discriminatory lending practices for years. I have had so many wasted credit inquiries from this place and I am finally convinced it's personal. I will not let them get away with this. My next move is to fire an attorney, subpoena their files, and sue them for millions if it's determined my suspicions are accurate (and they are).

The tellers are always friendly and I always get promptly greeted when I enter. Out of the few times I have needed to sit down and discuss banking options, I have always felt that I was made a priority and never rushed. I mostly use this location for the ATM after hours now but it's still my go to pick for my banking needs. For example, I used to have a second account at Eastern Savings Bank but transferred everything over to M&T after the great service here. I would definitely recommend this location!
