She explained the differences between tattoos and permanent makeup, and what I could expect after she finished. She put me at ease. The procedure went well and Michelle took her time and explained what she was doing. After a short healing process, I was very happy with them that I decided to have permanent eyeliner and my lips done. It looks great and I like getting up in the morning with my makeup already on. During that consultation I was so impressed with the facial "mapping." Debra literally used a plumb line all over my face to make sure my new brows would be perfect and symmetrical. She listened carefully to me drone on about not wanting to look like Joan Crawford. Summary...she was extremely professional and a master at her craft. On Day 1 I am thrilled. One eyebrow had no arch, and there was a noticeable area underneath with no pigment...just bare skin. I didn't notice all of the flaws until I got home, where it became clear that the work was uneven and not done carefully. When I brought this to Denise's attention, she refused to offer a refund or any proper solution, which was very frustrating given the quality of the work. I recommend paying with a credit card and also the tip if you choose to come here, so you have some protection in case there's an issue. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place.

The DAY BEFORE my procedure I received a call - "Sorry, we forgot to tell you, the provider took the summer off and won't be back until August." I was upset but accepted it would be a three-month delay so scheduled for August and arranged a return trip. I explained my circumstance and asked that I be called with more notice if there were any future changes in schedule and booked my ticket back to Arizona for early August. Today, 7/9, I called to confirm my appointment. I was told "Oh, yeah so sorry but we haven't been able to replace that provider soooo....." No one called to tell me this information!!!! So glad I called and spared myself an even longer delay in getting my body back post-surgery and a wasted trip to Scottsdale. Now I have to start over with a consult with another tattoo artist before scheduling. I was also told "Sorry but it is out of our hands." Absolutely unacceptable explanation! I understand that providers quit. But it is 100% the responsibility of the front desk to at a minimum notify clients, esp with something this sensitive and the second time around.
