Chris has…read moreput together a top-notch team that does not run away from problems like other property management companies. Instead, they find problems and solve them. Suncoast currently manages 25 rental houses and 1 office building for my company. They have overseen several rehabs from start to finish. The majority of the new leases that they sign have been higher than the rent comps that they initially provided. It also helps that Keith works directly with the contractors so that we don't have to. Suncoast has a great Team in place and we look forward to continuing to grow with them.

Every time I try to speak with someone, the employees either don't seem to know what's going on, give inconsistent information, or fail to follow through. It often feels like I'm being ignored or told things that aren't accurate just to move the conversation along. To make matters worse, when I finally had a scheduled tour, the lockbox did not work at all. I had to call three separate times for assistance, and no one was able to resolve the issue. I showed up at my scheduled time and still couldn't access the property. As a prospective tenant, this experience has been very disappointing. If it's this difficult just to view a property, it raises concerns about how issues might be handled after signing a lease. I hope they improve their organization and communication moving forward.

He ensured our home will be in tip top shape for an ease of moving back stateside. I really didn't stress much, he followed up diligently to any questions I had; worked with our time differences. I feel went above and beyond to help us purchase this house and provided local services for us to upkeep our home until we arrive. If you are buying or selling in the jacksonville area; definitely use Brett; you won't regret it.

Horrible Experience with Navy to Navy Property Management…read more If I could give Navy to Navy zero stars, I would. Renting from this company has been one of the most frustrating, stressful, and disappointing experiences of my life. I trusted Navy to Navy to provide a habitable home for my family, but instead, I encountered negligence, unprofessionalism, and baseless accusations that I would never expect from a reputable property management company. 1. The Move-In Nightmare When I first moved into a property managed by Navy to Navy, I was told it was ready for occupancy. This turned out to be completely untrue. My family and I arrived to find an uninhabitable apartment. We were forced to stay in a hotel and pay for an extra day with our U-Haul, which was both inconvenient and expensive. I moved across state lines trusting that Navy to Navy would honor their commitments, but they failed miserably from day one. 2. Constant Disrepair The condition of the apartment when we moved in was unacceptable. Blackened walls and ceilings around the vents suggested poor air quality, the air conditioning barely functioned (leaving us sweltering in 80-degree heat during the summer), and entire sections of the apartment had no working electricity, including the kitchen and bedrooms. These weren't minor issues--they made the unit nearly unlivable. Despite multiple maintenance requests, Navy to Navy either ignored the problems or failed to fix them properly. 3. False and Baseless Accusations When I moved out, things went from bad to worse. I surrendered my keys on December 4, 2024, and hired a professional moving company to ensure everything was handled properly. The movers can attest that the apartment was empty and left in the same (poor) condition in which I received it--certainly not in worse shape. Yet, Navy to Navy's representative, Jorge, accused me of causing "extensive damage" and "changing the locks." These claims are completely false: * All repairs during my tenancy were performed by Navy to Navy's authorized technicians. * I never returned to the property after surrendering the keys, so it was impossible for me to cause any damage post-move-out. * I have photographic evidence documenting the condition of the apartment before and after my tenancy. Jorge's accusations were not only baseless but also deeply offensive. His unprofessional and antagonistic behavior made an already frustrating experience even worse. 4. Mishandling My Security Deposit Florida law is clear: landlords must provide a detailed, itemized list of damages to justify withholding a tenant's deposit. Navy to Navy failed to do this. Instead, I received a vague, generalized list that mentioned "painting" and "extensive damage" without any specifics or associated costs. This is a direct violation of Florida Statutes Section 83.49. Despite making an informal request via text on January 1, 2025, and a formal request via email on the same day, I received no meaningful response. I was told someone would follow up with me on January 2, 2025, but no one did. This lack of communication is completely unacceptable. The Bottom Line Navy to Navy's negligence, unprofessionalism, and failure to follow Florida law have caused significant financial and emotional distress. They have not only mishandled my security deposit but have also repeatedly ignored their responsibilities as a landlord. If you're considering renting from Navy to Navy, I strongly urge you to reconsider. This company's actions (or lack thereof) have demonstrated a clear disregard for their tenants' rights and well-being. I hope this review serves as a warning to others. Save yourself the frustration and stress, and find a property management company that values its tenants and follows the law.

Not only was the host, Eric, extremely unprofessional, but he also violated our stay in multiple ways in our stay here. They booked another person midway through our reservation, double booking the unit, and gave a stranger access to the place while we were already staying there. Eric also asked for personal details and payment info outside of the approved methods. Not to mention, the internet went out, the place is run down, and the host shady.

You are basically renting a disgusting hotel room in an apartment building for Jacksonville area rental property pricing.!!! staff is useless, lazy, and basically incompetent. They don't even have an actual pan to cook on only a wok. Fully furnished is laughable maybe if you're referring to the inner city in one of the poorest communities in the world, then sure, these places are fully furbished. I booked the place on Airbnb. My family and I get there. And my kids were instantly horrified the place was horrific ceiling, stains, and mold all over. Unit which was completely updated much nicer and we were... until for some reason the circuit breaker from 1900 finally went out and they let us sit for five hours with no power knowing I have an almost 2-year-old and 10-year-old with us. It's starting to get dark, they tell us they're moving us to another rental across the street which is an entire city block down the street and although it is right above a VyStar, its also got downtown Jacksonville city finest roaming around at night. The parking area is not a safe place for women and children alone at night either. Basically all Erik the owner did coupon for a restaurant across the street, move us to 3 units, all exactly as crappy as the first, an inconvenience my entire family stay and trip for $30 gift card and $100 rebate for our troubles. Again, these issues our fault. Basically, the owner is an upscale slumlord. i paid $1700 for 3 weeks in a roach motel pff 8th street!!!! do yourself a favor and just stay in a hotel room a two star hotel room in the worst part of Jacksonville would be a luxury stay compared to Erics many listings on silver steeet management!!! at least in a hotel, you usually get a free breakfast, unlimited amount of clean towels, and at least a clean room. You will get none of those things in any of silver Street management properties. I can assure you, after my first interaction with Erik after having to go through Airbnb two different times to complain about the property to get a result, I was very aware of what kind of Shiesty operation I was dealing with and documented everything. I gave Erik and his team more than ample opportunity to make this right as I am in school full-time, work full-time and have two children. I didn't have the time to keep moving from Airbnb and to keep spending hours reporting this to get minimal results. Thankfully, I never have to interact with these people again, but to make sure that they don't make any more money off of an innocent, hardworking humans -- I can assure you I'm going to post everything I have on every website I'm able to that way people at least have a warning of what they're walking into with these welfare quality units. Even Ian, the property manager told me that the owner doesn't care literally about updating anything or fixing anything or the quality of anything he just cares about reviews. So here you go, Eric! Reviews with all of the pictures and emails you will get!!! If I wanted to stay in a dirty space with questionableneighbors in a dangerous vicinity, I could've gone to the red roof Inn or super eight in moncreif. You literally ruined my family and I's stay, not to mention our Thanksgiving. I hope you and the 10 other members of your team sleep well at night, knowing that you are charging these kinds of prices for this kind of service and establishment. Also, one more thing you all kept saying it was GEA's fault with the circuit breaker.... But I have a feeling JEA probably advised you to replace the circuit breaker from 1900..... Again, this is just another example of how you're charging top dollar for Living quarters that are probably comparable to those in Third World countries! PS if you do decide to stay in any of the SSM units for more than two days, be sure to bring your own towels, toilet paper, security systems, brooms, cleaning supplies, vacuum, and air filtration system. Possibly some lamps, too, because they keep the lighting low in the buildings in the units to hide all the scum and dirt and filth!
