I brought my daughter in for an issue that recurred while we were on vacation. It was very easy to get a same day appointment using the app. When we arrived we were checked in immediately and it took maybe 5 minutes max to be called back to see the doctor. The facility is very clean and everyone was very kind and helpful, especially to my child. I was very impressed with the follow up - they actually call you with test results! You can also access the results easily on the app. My child's initial test was inconclusive and the doctor worked with me on deciding next steps. I was really impressed with their thoughtful problem solving - my child was definitely not just a number to get in and out, they really cared about making her feel better. We had returned home by the time we realized she needed meds and they were able to call in a prescription to our home pharmacy. She is now on the mend - and we are so grateful to the PM Pediatrics team in Manchester! A tip - we also have a PM Pediatrics in our home area and the doctor in CT was able to see my child's previous visit records, which was very helpful. I highly recommend making PM Pediatrics your go-to urgent care if you are lucky enough to have one near where you live. read more

My pediatrician referred me here because they didn't have anymore same day sick visits, it was a complete waste of a 40 minute drive. The front desk was nice, the place is well decorated. However, the first "nurse" or "assistant" was not friendly, not patient, or helpful. I had to take my kids to the restroom during her checkup she huffed and rolled her eyes like it was an inconvenience. Next, I'm not even going to say Doctor because most likely she was an APRN. Didn't solve my problem, help my problem, listen/hear what I said about the health concerns. Nor did she show any empathy or sympathy. I was excited to come here because they're not affiliated with any big name places, but just your average turn em and burn em situation. Review of PM Pediatric Urgent Care in West Hartford, CT At the behest of their pediatrician, whose office was closed over the holiday weekend, my daughter and son-in-law made an urgent sick-child appointment for my 27 month-old granddaughter on Sunday evening 5/26/24. She had a fever of 103.4 and puss oozing out of her ear. In spite of the appointment, they waited more than two hours to be seen. The "doctor" on call that evening looked in her ears and declared that they were clear, in spite of the oozing. They sent my granddaughter home stating that she was ok, that there was no infection, and with no explanation for the reason for the high fever. Thirty six hours later - with her fever spiking to 104.8 and her ear still oozing - she was back at her pediatrician's office, who was shocked and appalled. My granddaughter was lethargic and hardly responsive in spite of the pain and discomfort she was forced to endure. She was immediately prescribed amoxicillin for ten days - plus Motrin and acetaminophen for the pain. Our pediatrician was so mortified that she said she would stop recommending PM Pediatric Urgent Care in West Hartford, CT to any of her patients. This practice has shown a complete disregard for the well-being of this young child. Doctors are supposed to take an oath to do no harm - but this medical group either did not take that oath or completely ignored it with my grandchild. Shame! A fever as high as what my granddaughter experienced is extremely dangerous. The repercussions of PM Pedriatric's flippant attitude and lack of care could have resulted in irreparable harm for our toddler. Stated it was open until 11pm and when I got there at 10:30 with a sick kid, handwritten sign on the door stated they closed at 8pm without a reason. I had even called prior and couldn't get through to anyone. Had to then go spend 8 hours in the ED for Strep testing that could have been done there. read more

completely misdiagnosed my daughter so we ended up in the ER hours after our PM pediatrics visit. never going here again. I knew what my daughter had and these "doctors" didn't. Also, have ignored my calls for months trying to get my copay back from the misdiagnosis because we ended up paying an ER copay anyway because of these clowns. stay away. read more

Office experience, efficiency, it's concerning that a whole office of doctors quit in one location that's especially in need.

This place has gone downhill. I'm a mom of 3 so have been here in the past with good experiences but this time the doctor was condescending when talking to me and had nothing to offer to help my very sick child who was passed out on the treatment table for the 2 hours we spent there. He was unable to give us a diagnosis and sent us home with a list of symptoms saying "it must be viral, and I'll say this is flu-like" despite flu testing was negative. Dr Latesha Thomas was such an incredible dr! My daughter had an issue with her arm and she managed to adjust my daughter's arm because it was dislocated before I even was able to know what was wrong. I can't believe how quickly she figured out what was going on and managed to fix her arm within minutes. She's an incredible doctor and the drs office was clean and efficient. read more

I had to bring my daughter here when she woke up from her nap with ragged, scary breathing and my pediatrician was closed for the day. Beautiful clean facility, great staff, easy check ins, and the doctors and nurses practitioners were top notch. The doctors even called to check in on us afterwards. We ended up having to come back a few times but it was always an easy, pleasant process. Bonus is that they take Husky which few places do. read more

Worst experience ever. My father was working so I ended up taking my 10 year old sister and stepmother into the office since my sister had a sore throat and wanted to get it checked our. My stepmother does not speak any English and is illiterate and does not have any bank accounts or cards she only has cash on her. They wanted us to pay the co-pay so we handed the cash over, they said it's policy to have a card on file so I explained that my dad is away at work and the mother cannot read or write. They proceeded to say it's policy so if the insurance doesn't pay then the card gets used, I mean how much are you going to charge in a walk-in clinic for a sore throat that the insurance won't pay for the extra fees its not like you will be doing any extensive procedures or invasive surgeries. Then one of the nurses came out putting words in our mouths that we didn't even say since we were foreigners. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The staff was condescending despite my pleas for help for my daughter. They refused to prescribe antibiotics to treat her infection on account of a policy. I asked them to please reconsider and treat her "the patient ", but they did not budge. I also had to pay cash because they couldn't figure out that my insurance is active in their computer. I have visited many times with my children and always had nothing but stellar care from the medical professionals. Patient, comprehensive care and very knowledgeable. That aside, the front desk staff is consistently difficult to deal with. Most annoying is that the "appointment" advertising is a ruse. They take walk-ins regardless of appointments. The desk staff is always muttering when attempting to talk, refusing to let patients check in before their scheduled appointment which slows down an already painfully slow process, difficult to converse with because they don't appear to want to be present and help families who are coming in at an "urgent" time of need. It's very frustrating and inexcusable. read more

Dr. Parker and all the staff were absolutely wonderful with my sick boy and his brother. I was impressed at the quality and thoroughness of the exam. .Dr. Parker took his time and even entertained my boys by sharing his vast knowledge of their favorite book series. I highly recommend this emergency office. I would also recommend reserving your check in time via their website. We we taken in a few short minutes after we arrived which is great so that sick children can wait at home instead the waiting room. The office was also very kid friendly and clean. After a day long battle with a tummy bug. I became concerned my 2yo was close to dehydration. I called my pediatrician's office, where the online nurse triaged him and recommended I bring him to an urgent care. The facility was clean, the staff was super helpful and friendly, the doctor and nurses were warm and treated my son with great care and sympathy. And my son watched Peppa Pig while we waited to see if the medicine helped. I couldn't be more pleased with the treatment and care my son received. read more

Open until midnight. This is our second time using the business and I had nothing but a wonderful experience previously on a Sunday. This time was at 8.30pm on a weeknight, putting the kids to bed we notice blood from my 4 year old son's ear. He had been terribly fussy - but no fever. Not ER level emergency, but at the same time, I don't want him to be in pain for any longer than necessary. We live about 20 minutes away. I booked an appointment online for 9.30pm, and seen and home by 10.30pm. Quick and professional, and saved us the anxiety of waiting until morning. We've used PM twice now and had great experiences both times. The front desk, nursing and physician staff have been courteous, professional and caring. Our daughter had a foot/ankle injury, I called ahead to ensure they had X-ray capability, which they do. The employee I spoke with suggested we sign in online ahead of time, which I did. When we arrived and checked in, we only waited about 5 min before being seen. The nurse brought her out a wheelchair because she couldn't put any pressure on her foot. The nurse and doctor asked if she had taken anything for pain, which she hasn't yet, and immediately gave her some Motrin. Doctor didn't see any obvious break on the imaging, so we got an air cast, they fit her for crutches, and then let her walk with them around the room initially (it's a standard pediatric-sized exam room). Then she walked out into the hallway. The doctor asked us if she needed a note for school, which the nurse promptly provided along with discharge instructions and a copy of X-rays on disc. The front desk associate waited with her while I pulled up the car and held the doors open for us. Overall a great experience, just as our first visit was. I've recommended this clinic to family and they've had good experiences as well. read more

My son went there on a monday night . With an ankle issues, the front desk person was great . We then went in the back had xrays (during this time my son was in pain and upset). After xrays he was given a choice to use crutches or the boot he did not do well with either . Mind you they tried teaching how to use it in a small room with no space ! I was then told " i guess you have to carry him every where"! I was given an no gym note for school and to contact an ortho. So am so upset that i could not respond to anything but leave this place ! Am a single mom and for them to tell me to carry an 8 year old boy around and they know he attends school with no school note but a gym note!!! Is not ok ! He cant return to school with out a note and he cant walk! He needs the use of something !! They where rude for saying that and not understanding ,kind or loving for doing what they did. They also made me fill out paper work to bill insurance for the crutches so why couldnt they just give it to me any ways and have me use my best judgement! I will never go here again i will be better off going to the er waiting ! read more
