The game library is vast, the owner Riley is incredibly friendly and wants to get to know you, personally. The first thing he will ask you for is your name and shake your hand, he clearly wants you to enjoy yourself and feel welcome. Everything is in great shape and the food is great. Especially the sandwiches, I find myself craving them all the time because they're so well made. The rotating beer menu got me hooked on sours as a long time lager drinker, there's always a little something for everyone on tap. 98% of games are in pristine condition, some are worn a bit but when you have people coming in and out constantly you're gonna have that, Riley does what he can to keep all games in a good condition. VP can pick up pretty fast so it's always worth calling and asking for a table before making the drive there, especially on Tuesday nights for trivia! There's so many good things here that this review will be incredibly long, but I think it speaks for itself, visit and meet Riley, you won't regret it.

Advent Calendar: I have to confess that I've had an Advent calendar every Christmas for most of my…read morelife and intend to keep getting one for every Christmas season to come. An Advent calendar is essentially a countdown to Christmas beginning on December 1st and lasting until December 24th. There are 24 numbered "doors" or "windows" to open. Behind each one is a piece of chocolate (usually Christmas themed). Popping the chocolate into my mouth each year instantly brings me back to the best Christmases of my childhood. Typically, I opt for a more Christmas themed image, but being the Star Wars fan that I am, I was gifted with a Grogu stylized one from The Mandalorian. This particular calendar is distributed in the U.S. by Galerie Candy, and I believe the chocolate is made by Jean-Talon Chocolate in Canada. My only minor complaint is it seems like a wasted opportunity to not make the chocolates into various shapes from the Star Wars universe (ships, characters, weapons), they are instead the same shapes found in other Jean-Talon Chocolate Advent calendars. Luckily, that means they also have the same great nostalgic taste and are Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews
