Eddy has worked on a number of projects for me over the years. These include installation of a major drain inside my garage to collect rainwater. He did the work after my garage was flooded. I would give Edward 10 stars if I could. Late on a Sunday night, in the middle of this pandemic, he totally saved my ass. Let me set the scene: I was trying to install a bidet hose when every connector around the water supply to my toilet broke off in my hands. I had water pouring into buckets that I had to lug across the hall one at a time. I called everyone I could think of to call, but no one could come. Then I just started calling all the highest rated yelp plumbers (all while still hauling buckets). Every plumber in the city was too busy to come out. So was Edward. The difference is, Edward took my call and he took the time (in the middle of his other job in Oakland) to walk me through getting my situation under control. I sent him pictures of my toilet and he patiently gave me a solution to carry me through until another professional could come the next day. I live in apartment, and in the absence of Edward's support the only other solution would have been (as I understand it) to call 911 and have the water turned off to the whole building. Edward was able to come to my apartment at 11am, only an hour after notifying him about my problem. After looking at the clog he told me he would be back around 3pm with other tools. At 4pm I called him and he said he would be there around 5:30. At 8pm I texted him and he said he wouldn't be able to come and that he would call me the next day. I had a slow drain in my tub. I was getting new tenants in my apartments, so I had to find someone quick. I called Edward and he came the next day and investigated. It turned out this wasn't a quick fix. To access the pipe, it required cutting a hole in the ceiling from below and accessing the pipe. He came back the next day and spent the morning moving the refrigerator, moving the built-in cabinet and cutting a hole in the ceiling and then fixing the slow drain. I really like Edward. My bathtub was clogged. Ed was friendly and got it done in 20 minutes. He ended up arriving almost an hour later than he initially estimated, but these things happen, and it was super short notice (I called at around 4pm and he said he could be here around 6, but it was closer to 7). Would've been nice if I didn't have to clean the floor afterwards, but my bathtub drains now and I didn't have to skip a shower or sleep somewhere else. My tub got clogged and after 2 days of relentless efforts to unclog it ourselves at home, we decided it was time to call a pro. I went to yelp and basically used the first guys to call me back.
