I would give Edward 10 stars if I could. Late on a Sunday night, in the middle of this pandemic, he totally saved my ass. Let me set the scene: I was trying to install a bidet hose when every connector around the water supply to my toilet broke off in my hands. I had water pouring into buckets that I had to lug across the hall one at a time. I called everyone I could think of to call, but no one could come. Then I just started calling all the highest rated yelp plumbers (all while still hauling buckets). Every plumber in the city was too busy to come out. So was Edward. The difference is, Edward took my call and he took the time (in the middle of his other job in Oakland) to walk me through getting my situation under control. I sent him pictures of my toilet and he patiently gave me a solution to carry me through until another professional could come the next day. I live in apartment, and in the absence of Edward's support the only other solution would have been (as I understand it) to call 911 and have the water turned off to the whole building. I had a slow drain in my tub. I was getting new tenants in my apartments, so I had to find someone quick. I called Edward and he came the next day and investigated. It turned out this wasn't a quick fix. To access the pipe, it required cutting a hole in the ceiling from below and accessing the pipe. He came back the next day and spent the morning moving the refrigerator, moving the built-in cabinet and cutting a hole in the ceiling and then fixing the slow drain. I really like Edward. My bathtub was clogged. Ed was friendly and got it done in 20 minutes. He ended up arriving almost an hour later than he initially estimated, but these things happen, and it was super short notice (I called at around 4pm and he said he could be here around 6, but it was closer to 7). Would've been nice if I didn't have to clean the floor afterwards, but my bathtub drains now and I didn't have to skip a shower or sleep somewhere else.
