We had no idea who to call, but saw their website that says "if water runs through it, we do it" so we called them and they stuck to their word! The problem was a compound fractured pvc pipe and broken clean out adapter. They worked with a local company to repair the pipe from the inside (and behind the brick wall) saving us thousands from potentially cutting through our remodeled bathroom. Jamey was responsive always returning texts and calls promptly, and really cared about the work. He made sure they weren't going to stop until the problem was absolutely fixed. They're not only good at what they do, they definitely get a thumbs up for integrity and customer service.

They cut a hole in my ceiling and didn't tell me they wouldn't replace it until after the new heater was installed. Then, when the office staff called to schedule the code inspection I was given a date and waited all day with no code inspector arriving. I called the plumber the next day and was told they called me (no call or message recorded on my phone) 2 weeks ago to let me know the code inspectors don't do water heaters on Mondays or Tuesdays (my appt. was on a Monday) and it was really hard to get an appointment made for an inspection. I called the inspector's myself and they laughed when I told them the excuse I was given and said that was absolutely false, they do inspections on water heaters Mon-Fri. So I asked if I could make my own appointment and cut out the plumber. They gave me the permit number and other information to schedule an appointment myself and I did it in under 5 minutes with no problem whatsoever. Needless to say, I will not use Ray Baker again. They lied to me and were inherently inept at the way they handled the situation. It's disappointing, especially after 23 years of good service.

This was over 4 weeks ago and no one has come back or addressed this issue. An individual answering incoming calls actually hung up on my wife when she questioned the service agreement. I have left 3 voicemails with no return call. I am not sure what has taken place with Ray Baker, but it is time I move on to a more reliable company. I have contacted another local company that had great attitude and welcomed my business in the future. I cannot recommend Ray Baker any longer

I recently had the chance to avail the services of Faucet Doctors in Memphis, and I must say that…read moremy experience was, unfortunately, quite mediocre. While they did the job, my experience was just OK. Scheduling an appointment was a breeze. However, when scheduling I asked what their hourly rate was and the office did not know. The technician threw out a number to install a water filter (filter provided by myself). Based upon needing to get this filter installed in a timely fashion I really had no choice. When the technician got to the house he indicated that it appeared to be much more involved since he needed to go get parts and the price of the install doubled. I again asked about an hourly rate and the question was avoided. After pushing back on the price, he eventually informed me he had the part needed on the truck and the price would only be like $100 more than what was quoted. I found their pricing to be on the higher side compared to other local plumbing services. I am an experienced property manager in another area and while I expected quality service for the price, the overall execution of the job did not entirely justify the cost. It appears this company just throws out high-ball numbers and sees what sticks. If you look at what I paid and the number of hours (probably an hour) the hourly rate is astronomical. I was in a bind so had to pay. On a positive note, the water filter did get installed. However, the overall experience with Faucet Doctors Memphis left me feeling indifferent, with no real desire to recommend them enthusiastically to others. In conclusion, while Faucet Doctors Memphis did manage to install my water filter, however, I would not use them again.
