Bought a sy ginsberg corned beef. It was real real good!

Quick update to say they now have their own website with delivery and curbside pick up options. There's no charge for pick up, which has been saving us some money on our recent grocery orders. They're fully stocked, the quality is great, and your shopper will text you if they have any issues fulfilling your requests. I was able to ask my shopper for something I couldn't find on their website and she was able to scoop it up for me and add it to my order. Drive up is easy. Just let them know via the button in your confirmation email or call them when you arrive. Pop the trunk and you're on your way! Very grateful for this option!

Plum Market is what I consider the Gold Standard of safety and cleanliness in the face of the surging number of coronavirus cases throughout our country. It is one of several upscale grocery markets in town that has long been recognized for its focus on fresh and organic. Now, I'm glad to be able to add safety to that list of Plum's noteworthy traits. I stopped in as the store opened this morning while the number of coronavirus cases is spiking in our state. Walking up to the entrance wearing my gloves and mask, I was super pleased to see a store associate disinfecting every grocery cart after use and a group of available carts that had already been disinfected. What a thoughtful and safety-minded touch. Once inside, the store's cleanliness, discipline and organization was immediately apparent. Plum Market has got their act together at this stressful time when customers are looking for exactly this kind of reassurance of safety. Plum also has a small Zingerman's Cafe embedded in the store for coffees and baked goods, an extensive wine department, salad and olive bars, a floral section and their popular Plum Kitchen where many kinds of delicious foods are expertly prepared to take home. Best of all are the outstanding associates who are part of the Plum team. They are universally friendly, caring and most helpful in providing every shopper with an enjoyable experience...even during these stressful times of the pandemic. Plum stands as the Gold Standard - 5 shiny stars.

Everyone that says Plum Market is expensive is totally right. But they carry high quality produce, fish, meat and their selection of local goods is fantastic. I was so impressed! Even more impressive? Their wine selection and pricing. It seems like they give the wholesale price on wine. From the produce to the wild caught seafood and delicious imported cheeses, Plum is 5-stars in my book.

I'm not sure what was more over-inflated here: the prices or the patrons! I mean $6+ for some damn grapes?! Don't get me started on their prepared foods either. With an average of $10/sandwich and $11/lb for mediocre hot bar items, you're likely to go broke. Same goes for the basics like milk, eggs, and bread. And the people that shop there- gee whiz! I've never seen so many ambitious retirees in one place. I had one ride my coattails as I was unbuckling a toddler, while another honked at me while loading the same toddler into a cart because it was blocking "his" parking spot. Eff this joint. I'll be at Fresh Thyme if you need me.

I have to say I wasn't super impressed with this location. At first when I walked in to the the produce was the best looking department so I had high hopes. They had nice looking fruits and vegetables which I thought were way overpriced but you do expect to pay more than a ragu list chain store but still thought it was overpriced. I purchased a few things then went to the meat department and this is where I really had a problem. I thought the meat in the counter looked old but they were charging too dollar still. If I'm going to pay that much for meat I want it fresh so I passed on that. I did find some prepackaged fish (Sole) that was already seasoned and ready for the oven and that was amazing. They had a pretty good variety of different items you don't find at your regular chain stores so that was nice. I would probably go back for a few items that I tried and cannot find elsewhere, the fish being one of them. They also had these blue and brown eggs that were very good. All in all it wasn't a great experience but wasn't awful either.

Artisan breads and real bagels! I'm home baby!

If Whole Foods is dubbed 'Whole Paycheck' then Plum Market is more like 3/4. Despite this, I think growing up exposed to such wonderfully stocked places like this could lull locals into a sense of banality and not realize that the privilege exists. Consider where I currently live in Southern California: Riverside. Aside from being a "sanctuary city" the demographics of the region cannot sustain stores like Plum Market or Whole Foods. Therefore, the nearest locations are in LA and Orange Counties, easily an hours' drive on a good day. This entails bringing a cooler and buying ice to protect your investment. As a former insider turned outsider, I am delighted to be able to browse the store and buy things, albeit not cheap, but more than acceptable when I only had to drive one mile to get it, not a 110 mile round trip. To me it is frivolous to complain about prices when quality is so closely concentrated. What I love? My pictures only tell half the story, but having a Zingerman's outlet is exactly the privilege I referred to above. Where in LA can you get a bagel of equivalent quality? In sixteen - years I have not found any place anywhere close. Maybe LaBrea Bakery sourdoughs you to death, but farm bread? Nowhere I have seen, just pale imitation. The coffee selection alone is my top pick, followed by the cheese shop and bakery. Produce is good for a one-stop shop, and other dairy items are fairly standard national brands although considered healthier. Ultimately, I would be delighted to have a Plum Market nearby in California. I think creature comfort creates complacency and it took moving out of my hometown to obtain fresh eyes and clarity. Pricy? Yes. Necessary? Mostly. Overall, I deem the diverse offerings at Plum Market to be worth the cost. If it becomes too familiar I can see why people nitpick in their reviews, but what would you do to find such quality and variety under one roof if this store, Arbor Farms and Whole Foods didn't exist in Ann Arbor? Think about that.

I love local mini chains and fancy organic grocery stores and Plum Market its that bill. The people are very nice and actually like working there which is always great to see and support. I saw the rack with reduced bakery items and got excited at being able to get Zingerman's Pies at half off. $20, so I'll only pay $10 I shouted full of excitement and started filling up the cart till the friendly worker said those prices are already half off. Back the $20 Pies went on the shelf and I left Plum Market with $6 Cupcakes that tasted good but can be found better at other Cupcake shops up the street.

Simply one of the best supermarkets in all of Ann Arbor. It is expensive but you can expect quality every time.

This shop has various Indian spices , rice( basmati), lentils, tea, coffee, cooking oil, ghee and many more items. Very much like a regular grocery store. The main items though are various Bangladeshi fish (frozen) and meat. Chicken, mutton, lamb, beef are the usual items here. The owner is very friendly and understands the meat quality. They even take preorders if you have big events and need large amounts of meat or fish. They can cut the pieces as you desire. This shop have plenty of free parking space too. The only big issue it the pricing of the meat and fishes. They are quite high in comparison to the Bangladeshi stores in Hamtramck. We always buy fish and meat from Golam but recently we started to buy same items from Detroit area through our Frieda who live nearby and it costs us half the price. This is the only shop of this kind in this area so maybe the higher price is justified.

The exotic fruits like mangos and papayas are obviously shipped in, but they also offer many fruits and vegetables grown locally. Corn on the cob and bright red tomatoes from Michigan were on offer on a recent July afternoon. I have been to many ethnic groceries in the area, but this is the first where I've seen bitter melon, a common ingredient in Indian dishes, available. In addition to produce, they have a meat counter, many dried and canned beans, and an astounding array of snack mixes. Some small flies were buzzing around some of the plums in an unappetizing way, and several of the mangoes and pears were looking dried and past their peak of freshness. Other items, especially the local Michigan produce, looked really good. They were running a special on watermelons the day I stopped in.
