My golf homie and I came here to play some golf on this course for the first time. We had an amazing time. I learned some new things and he coached me on what I was doing wrong. I did improve my swing. I really like how open it was playing on this course. There was a lot of houses that made you nervous playing. On some courses the homes are very close to the course. The club house is really nice here. There was a lot of construction going on, but it wasn't too distracting.} The greens on the drive were kind of hard, that it made it hard to your tee into the ground. Parking was full when I arrived; however, I had a front row spot as someone was leaving when I pulled in to park. read more

Plum Creek Golf Course is a very nice course. Came here to get a gift card for a family member that plays golf alot and this is one of the course they go to. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking to get in and out. The course looks like it is very well kept. Prices seem reasonable for golfing. Worth checking out if you are into golf. read more

An acceptable course - scratched our itch for golf, but the experience could have been better Location/parking We were very confused when pulling up because the course was at the back of a shopping center. There was a good amount of parking though Service: When we walked into the club house no one acknowledged us. There were 3 people behind the desk and they didn't even say hi. It didn't get the experience off to a good start for us. Immediately after our golf cart key broke in the cart, which apparently has been happening . Another not great moment Food/drinks They had basic food and drinks available, and a cart girl did come around. Unfortunately they don't have coolers and we didn't think to bring one with us Course: The course is fine. It wasn't the best or prettiest we've been to but it was acceptable . It didn't stand out to us too much though We did take a break at the clubhouse to go to the restroom, then we got back on track to play the back half the players behind us were waiting. We were told to speed it up because of that, which we did , but then immediately got stuck behind a group with 6 players Im always happy to try a new course, so I'm glad we played here while in the area. Pace of play is pathetic out here, not to mention it's $1 course and they charge $110. The greens are so grainy that your putts break uphill due to the grass being matted over. No fairways, basically dirt lies everywhere, no rough just weeds. It's really pathetic. We have played here twice, most recently earlier today, and enjoyed it both times! The course is pretty well kept, and all of their staff is friendly. The greens play pretty quickly and they allow you to play either just 9 or a full 18 holes. Overall, it was a great experience! read more

the grass conditions have improved over the years but the pros and staff are a joke. I paid for an hour lesson. the pro told me to strengthen my grip and stood silent for the entire lesson. Put my daughter in the kids program and that caused her to quit golf. Place has potential with some personnel changes. read more

Played Aug 1. Big cost jump recently. Several tee boxes and other areas under repair. No heads up on Web site or mention when checking in. Very poor way to treat paying customers. Several Greens are in bad shape. Their condition has not changed since last round about 6 months ago. Expected some improvement in that length of time, but nothing. Greens need the work first, not tee boxes!!! Raising the price when the course is in such poor condition is a very bad move. Other area courses routinely in much better condition at a lower cost. Will be a long time before our group returns. read more

Great course when it comes to experience. I have the best time every time. Many people, friends and colleagues, come regularly now. Maddy is a pleasure every time. Plum creek is always a phenomenal place to golf. Whether I'm with friends or family, the marshals are very helpful and the greens/fairways are always phenomenal. The indoor bar/grill has great food and the staff is very friendly. I think the managers name is KJ and she always makes sure I have everything I need before and during my round! read more

I was hesitant coming back to Plum Creek this time of year. I came around this time last year and the greens were nothing to write home mom about. A couple buddies wanted to come here over the weekend, and I thought sure, sure why not. Fully prepared for super rough greens, I came out. To my surprise, the greens played super well this round! Definitely seems like there might've have been some management change over to someone who actually cares about the course. Definitely recommend having a round here now! read more

Great layout, great greens. Awesome staff and Glenn's Bar & Grill treated us perfectly.

Friendly staff with a small but clean clubhouse and restrooms. The range had very nice turf. You are hitting down into a big slope so distance little difficult to judge. The fairways were in great condition. I don't know if the bunkers were recently redone but they were in really good condition, seemed like new sand. Aside from a couple of bumpy greens they were in great condition and rolled smooth. Having never played the course it was easy to navigate from hole to hole which isn't always the case. The course itself is fairly wide open but has enough water, sand and high grass to punish errant shots. We had a great time and will definitely return. read more

Will add an update since GM responded. Was expected to tee off at 2:03 with new group - however new group was never found by starter (lol). I jumped in with another single and another twosome and went off around 2:20. Experience was fine after that but blew my mood for first few holes which was reflected in score. I'm sure I was not the only one confused on Saturday afternoon. I'd take queues from forest creek, or even Austin muni's by announcing tee times on loudspeaker. Looking forward to a call. read more

First of all way overpriced for the condition of the course. greens were fine but everything else needs major work. zero maintenance on all of the tee boxes. Pathetic. Secondly, they all dogs on the course. WTF? This is Texas. Total BS. I had to leave my puppy in my car for 3 1/2 hours. (Cool weather. Windows cracked. Food and water. He was fine.) Lady in the pro shop was a bitch (kindest description I can give her...) ‍ After the round we got Viserion (the dragon puppy) and went to the snack shop. Nice lady there it was fine to bring the pup in while we had our beer and hotdogs. Well, the Bitch from the pro shop was also in the snack shop and immediately said "You can't bring your dog in here!" When we told her the manager of the snack shop said it was ok, she snapped "Well I'm the manager of the pro shop and I'm telling you No!" Fucking BITCH! Other than that had a great round!! Never going back. It's a shame because this course is actually the closest one to my house. read more

Worst kept course I've played in a long while....greens were a mess, three or four holes with tee boxes completely demolished so playing from fairway, one par three was like 40 yards from the manufactured tee box. Prices were high and there was absolutely zero mention of the repairs or issues when booking or checking in....practice facility was awful, great that they have huge putting complex and short game and grass range, but there was no grass on range just dirt, putting green was not puttable with barren spots throughout, altogether an awful place to play and outrageously overpriced read more

What a joke!! Pay $60+ out here mid week and the guy in shop doesn't even say a word about the disease ridden greens being a total disaster plus one hole on front nine was modified to be about 60 yds shorter on a garbage temporary green. I was so pissed by end of round that I just packed my stuff up and got out of there. If I could give negative rating I would....even if greens were good its a $50 max golf course. After my last review the management team reached out and explained the difficulties they were having in reference to keeping the greens in good shape or getting them back. I've heard they are working diligently to get these issues resolved. The team was extremely courteous and understanding of my concerns. This place is fantastic with constant updates to their facilities and course. Price is very competitive as well for this day and age. Their range is also great with tracer as an option to use for training. It is also well priced if all you're looking to do is hit some practice shots. I've been golfing there for 12 years and today was the absolute worst. They've raised the green fees significantly to play a course that is currently unplayable. The greens are half grass, half dirt/mud. You can't actually putt on them. I complained to the manager in the pro shop stating that the product they're offering is not worth the fees they're asking. His answer was "you're a senior, you get a discount." My response was, "if I wasn't a senior I'd be even more pissed!" He was apologetic, saying "they have their eyes on the condition of the course" but did nothing about my (or anyone else's) dissatisfaction. If this is representative of Foresight Golf, I'd recommend not playing their courses. read more
