The technician provided a good service. He was knowledgeable and listened to my feedback. I'm very satisfied with his work.

My dryer was making a screeching noise, so I called Matt, an appliance repair technician. He arrived promptly and gave me a quote based on his initial inspection. He was able to fix the dryer on the same day, and he left the area clean and tidy. He was very friendly and professional, and he took the time to explain the problem to me. A few days later, the dryer started making a different noise and Matt came back to fix it. I am very happy with Matt's service. He is a reliable and trustworthy technician, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs appliance repair. I have saved his business card too. read more

I had a misfortune to land on a defective oven from Fridgidaire that never worked. I got sick and tired of trying to deal with the seller and Fridgidaire support and called Matt to help me assess whether I should repair it on my own. Matt asked a few questions about specifics of the model on the phone free of charge. He then agreed to come by to take a quick look at it, free of charge. He even spent bit of time to debug the oven, as much as he could. Although he wasn't able to resolve the problem - and I think the fact is the oven has a major defect beyond obvious repair- he was knowledgeable, honest and ended up not taking any charge for coming in and diagnosing a problem beyond repair. That's providing a fantastic service. In the future, Plug-In will first to call. read more

Again, Alex texted me that he will be arriving in a few minutes. He came in and repaired the washing machine. Alex was very nice and professional. This was a very easy and pleasant interaction. It's not often that you see a string of 5 stars for a business and think they deserve it, but I've had a great first impression with Plug-In. I had a broken dryer that wouldn't spin, and my wife first called Master Appliance. They charged us $96 to figure out what's on, and on arrival, after telling their technician what happened, he didn't even bother opening up the machine and immediately gave us a quote of $600 to replace the belt and pulley. And the $600 includes a $190 quote to clean the lint box. We were not comfortable with that and decided to get a second opinion. Matt from Plug-In received our call, and gave us a $40 quote to inspect, and came on time the next day. After he arrived and telling him what's going on, he immediately asked to open up the dryer to see what's going on -- a completely different experience from the other repairman who didn't even bother disassembling the machine. Turns out the belt was fine, and only the pulley needed to be replaced. Matt quote us $360 to repair everything, and did the job on the spot. Extremely prompt, honest service that doesn't make you feel like you're getting ripped off. I'll recommend them to anyone. read more

They were very responsive and quickly fixed the issue. Happy with their overall service.

Who said customer service is non-existent in today's world of maximizing your profits? Matt is truly a diamond in the rough who stands by his promise of quick, reliable and "honest" service! My outside A/C cooling fan went out during this dreaded Bay Area sweltering heat spell and I desperately contacted various Yelp A/C repair services, but alas, all of them were booked up for an entire week. Having received a yelp quote reply from Matt's Plug-In Services, I called at 8PM expecting to receive an answering service, but to my surprise Matt answered and said he could stop by that same night since he was working in my neighborhood. He promptly arrived at his estimated evening time and quickly isolated the problem was simply a thrown A/C 240V fuse switch which I never knew existed. I asked him which Credit Card he accepted and to my surprise he lived up to his Heat Wave free diagnostics special and refused to charge me! Matt has my business for any future A/C and electrical repairs! Highly recommended!!! read more

I have a dishwasher that refuses to drain. After checking all the usual suspects like drain hoses, filters etc I gave Plug-In Services a call. As promised I was texted 15 minutes prior to arrival. Due to getting sick overnight I did not see the text and completely forgot about our appointment. My wife had to turn him away at the door as I was not sure if I had caught covid. Matt handled the situation very graciously and was very understanding about my mess up. read more

Our AC was making craaaazy loud sounds on Thursday afternoon (right before a heat wave here in the bay) and I reached out to Plug-In Services that night. Matt responded within minutes and he ended up having an opening for a consultation the next morning! He did very well at communicating throughout the whole process and gave a great explanation through his diagnostic and estimate. He ended up getting the part the same day and installed it just a couple hours later! Saved us from the upcoming heat wave and explained everything so well, which is very reassuring and made me feel comfortable with his work. 10/10 would recommend Matt for future services! Thank you again! read more

I had an unusual problem with my furnace. It worked, but the fan wouldn't start at the same time. The Fan worked also without the furnace. Another technician came earlier charging for the inspection and suggested to replace the furnace. Matt has been flexible with scheduling and came as soon as he could. He ran diagnostics and quickly found a wiring problem, fixing the issue. Matt's attention to details is great. After fixing the problem he inspected the unit further, checked for possible leaks. Matt charged a reasonable fee for the work as well. I would definitely recommend this business. read more

Matt has been great! He came to service our 10 year old LG fridge, promptly diagnosed the problem and ordered the part needing a replacement. Our freezer had an Error massage and was defrosting on its own. We were concerned that the compressor went out but it was actually the fan that needed a replacement. Matt was very professional and thorough. He has excellent communication skills. Bethany called the day after the service to make sure that everything was functioning properly and there were no concerns. Would highly recommend Plug-in Service! read more

Our freezer defrost heater stopped working, and the fridge doesn't cool effectively anymore. Matt responded to the Yelp service request promptly. It was easy to set up an appointment in Yelp with him (lucky that we got a spot on the same day), and he showed up on time. Once Matt got to work, he correctly diagnosed the issues, went out to get the exact same parts our model had, and came back quickly to finish the fix on the same afternoon, an hour earlier than planned. During his work, he called us to see when he compared the resistance of the burned heater and the new one. Thanks to Matt, a lot of our foods don't have to all go to waste. He is professional, transparent, very kind, and delivers what he promised. We will call him directly for any future appliance needs -- highly recommend! read more
