This started as a great experience with Matt and unfortunately ended as a terrible experience which is forcing me to write this review to warn others. Matt repaired my Samsung fridge for freezing at the back panel. First, in Oct 2022, he installed an extra heating element for $340 and promised me that the issue is permanently addressed. Then, I had the same issue again within 4 months in Feb 2023 and this time, he replaced the evaporator cover assembly for another $75 and promised me that this is the ultimate fix and I would not have to worry about this issue again. Now, I have the same issue for the last 3 months and when I contacted them, they are essentially asking for another $537 to fix this issue and claiming that they won't even come and check why their fix didn't work because the fix is out of warranty. I would expect any decent technician to at least find out why their "ultimate fix" did not work and do what they can to address the same issue for which they were already paid $415. Please avoid because ultimately what matters is whether they stand up to their work and not whether they are nice on their first visit. read more

Couple days ago, Matt came in to check our HVAC as our attic unit stopped blowing air to the vents. Even though it was too hot in the attic, he seems very dedicated and remained calm. Few minutes later, he had diagnosed the problem (burnt control board) and gave us a quote. It was very reasonable so we pursued the repair. He went out for an hour to buy the parts and continued the repair for another hour or so. Then finally, AC is back working again!! It's interesting how this business does not have more reviews. Matt arrived yesterday to fix our LG Washer. Prior to his arrival, we let him know that the washer would stop functioning during a wash cycle, and then it would throw a draining error in app. He was available for next day service and arrived promptly, and within moments of taking a look at our situation, he was able to tell me the estimates. It was either going to be cleaning drain passage ways, which I hope wouldn't be the case because I had already tried that myself, or it was going to require a Drain Pump (Motor Assembly) replacement. Turned out to be the latter, and he arrived with the necessary part on hand. When he dissembled the the washer to remove the original Drain Pump, he called me over so that I could see the difference between the old and the new pump. The original pump showed less resistance when pressed against, compared to the new pump. Makes sense. Upon completion of the job, he mentioned that he also adjusted the standing level of our Washer + Dryer stack combo, so that it wouldn't rumble as much as before. This was a nice bonus because I wasn't aware that anything could have been done about that. We tested it the Washer and it's working like new again, no more errors, and now there isn't as much rumbling as there was in the past. We paid for Matt's expertise, and that's what we received. He responded to my YELP inquiry promptly with a reasonable rate to assess the problem, and flexibly agreed to a time and date to come by that fit my preferences. He also quickly & helpfully replied to all of my questions via text. On the same day of service, he even texted alerts to me with very accurate time estimates of his arrivals at my home. He assessed the cause of a water filter area leak that we reported and gave me a quote. Then when he was finishing up the job, being super conscientious, he found a 2nd leak. This one was in the back of the fridge. He could have disregarded the 2nd smaller leak to finish up, take his money, and run. But instead, he showed me the additional problem, and with my permission, called to order the specialized parts needed, picked up the parts, and returned to my home later the same day to fix it, without charging me more than his initial quote. Throughout all of this, Matt was very kind, professional and respectful. When I asked for him to place the refrigerator at particular distances from the counters & walls (so I could stash a few items on each side), he more than happily helped out. It required a small part replacement which was efficiently ordered by his office manager Bethany on the day of his initial visit.
