The bread, however, was delicious. My main problem came with my main course. I ordered the sirloin, medium rare. Another member of my party ordered the sirloin medium well. Both of our steaks came out cooked above medium well but not quite well done. It was literally difficult to chew, but I wasn't going to send it back during a business dinner. The chips were pretty plain, but that's typical of English chips. Overall, the highlights were the beer and the house salad that came with my meal. Its a cool looking establishment and a nice place to have a beer, but you wouldn't catch me spending my own money there.

The kids menu is great especially for young children and those with special needs as it has a photos of each maincourse, side & veg to make it easier for them to choose. We both had the smaller meal options but it was plenty & filling. The drinks were fairly priced too. There is a fenced play area for children. During the week they do special deals like 2 meals for £8 or they have a curry day. This was not our first visit as we used to go there a few years ago. We stopped going as the food wasnt great & the prices were getting silly & the portions were getting smaller. When i asked for ketchup i was told they did not have any by the rude and unresponsive worker who worked behind the carvery station. There were kids screaming and running aro7nd throughout our time there, making the whole experience very unpleasent. When we left my father talked to the manager, who was very polite if a bit incompetent and he gave us a refund. Overall a very unsatisfying experience would definately not reccomend visiting.
