Someone (don't want to name names coz I don't want to ding them personally) promptly answered the call and I excitedly explained how I'm looking to rent out our house - the person on the other end said, "it's close to 8pm on a weekday, I'm with my family, let's schedule another time... it's the nature of my job to answer the call so I did". I 100% respect a person's family time but either fix the listed hours on review sites or send me to voicemail or lastly teach politeness to your employees, otherwise it leaves a sour taste in your mouth, doesn't it? I'm unfortunately compelled to not come back to you for property managing my home ever.

    We had a change in our family situation and needed to quickly move out of the home we own into a…read morebigger rental. After move-in, we were a big stuck on what to do and how to get our home rented out. We connected with RentWise and they put us at ease. Everything moved so fast, from the moment we got off the call, things just started happened, photographers showed up and took professional pictures (after we had the place cleaned) and made a map layout of the property (got the files the that same evening). By the next morning, our home was already listed and advertised (i think it was 22 outlets that RentWise marketed the home to). Within 48 hours we had ~30 contacts. RentWise showed the home to 5 lovely couples/families that weekend and 3 qualified applicants for us to chose from a couple days after. All-in all, the process took a little over a week. I cannot believe how fast we got qualified applicants and a lease executed. They are worth every penny (it probably would've taken me a month) not to mention they got us 10% more than the top end of my expectation. My first experience with RentWise, will update the review if anything changes during the length of the relationship. Thank you again RentWise!

    One of the worst rental experiences I've had -- avoid if you can…read more About 28 days before our move-out date, Heritage Realty put up a leasing sign right in front of our yard and started sending people over for an open house without any prior notice, even though we were still living there. It felt intrusive and completely disrespectful. When I complained, they brushed it off, pointing to lease language that supposedly allowed them to host open houses "at their convenience." Then they immediately tried to schedule another one the following weekend -- despite me clearly explaining that we would be moving out 10 days before the lease ended, giving them plenty of time to do showings properly. The final walkthrough was even worse. Joyce showed up late and was extremely rude. She spent about 45 minutes taking pictures of everything, clearly looking for any excuse to deduct from the deposit. I was still charged a cleaning fee even though I hired professional cleaners and left the place in better condition than when I moved in. It would have been more productive if she had compared move-in vs. move-out condition instead of just documenting things to justify charges. To make matters worse, I was also charged for garage -- even though the previous tenant also had left trash in the garbage bin. Unfortunately, I didn't have photos from move-in to prove it. Lesson learned: document everything when you move in, especially for silly things like fxxking trash bin that are easy to overlook. Overall, it feels like they will do whatever they can to take your deposit. Be very careful if you decide to rent from them. Considered your deposit WON'T be returned in full no matter what. Might as well leave the entire place trashed and uncleaned. They would penalized you either way.

    I am beyond upset at how this company handles business…read more I toured one of their properties, submitted an application, and was told that someone would be in touch regarding the next steps. I was also told that if my FICO score was not run, my application fee would be refunded. During the tour and application process, I made it clear that I was looking to move as soon as possible and that finding housing was time-sensitive for me. After submitting my application, I waited for an update but never received one. Over the next seven days, I called the leasing agent every day and was sent to voicemail each time. I left messages but never received a return call. I also sent an email and did not receive a response. I then called the main office and spoke with two different staff members. Both were polite and understanding, but the only assistance offered was transferring me back to the same voicemail box that had already gone unanswered. Today I found out that the property is no longer available. What is most frustrating is that I received no communication at all. That is crazy! A simple update, to let me know the unit had been rented or that my application was no longer being considered, would have been appreciated, and would have fixed this problem. I do not believe this level of communication is acceptable, especially when applicants are paying fees and making important housing decisions based on the information provided. I would give it zero stars if I could.
