Plix Plex? More like Plix Sux. Total ripoff. At $34 per person, the price is absolutely insane for what they have to offer. The business model is bizarre--you get maybe two or three minutes per game, and each one seems more lackluster than the last. I went with my girlfriend while we were on vacation, thinking it would be a fun way to kill time on a colder day, but we spent almost every room wondering why we just dropped $70 combined. They advertise a huge variety of games, but in reality, most rooms just have you either drop a ball in a hole or press buttons in a specific sequence. Basically, every single "game" is just a slight variation of those two concepts. To make matters worse, the staff was a bit off-putting. There was one female employee who kept staring at us to the point where my girlfriend actually pulled me aside and told me the situation was making her uncomfortable. My absolute favorite part of the experience? That tiny sliver of hope I'd feel while opening the door to a new room, praying that maybe--just maybe--it would finally be worth the money. I'm giving it a 2/5, and the only reason it isn't a 0/5 is that the laughs we shared making fun of the place almost made it worth our time (though definitely not our money). read more

This weekend we went out the oceanfront for a funday and this place I was highly impressed with the layout and the design of each room is awesome and definitely something that I never seen before where there was so many levels of challenges where it can range from easy to hard to mental to physical. Starting out when we check in the staff were very welcoming when we walk in and allows us to check in before I time slot-start which was nice and it seem more of walk in if you would like to just go rather than make reservations for small groups but for big ones I would recommend. We also got to choose are team name and they have it set up where they give you options to choose from and for your next visit you can still use that same name and preserve the points that you received your first visit and the place has two floor starting with the first two rooms in the first floor those are perfect for a group of 4 or more. I did like the way that each room it self guide where you have the items or screen to complete the task but the only thing you have 3 minutes or less but the cool thing you can play as many times to advancement and score high enough to win something. We did both physical and mental challenges some were harder than others but definitely have a few that were my favorite and actually got some advancement during our session. They run by 2 hours total package and 4 Hour package and it varies from what you want to and how many people for us we did the 2 hours and we managed to get in a lot of rooms and be able to win some and other come closer But at the end I would say this place is definitely worth it if your looking for something with challenges and have less time with options to do it as many times as you would like and be able to enjoy the overall experience. read more

I recently got tickets for two at Plix Plex for $78, and I had high hopes for the experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling quite disappointed. From the moment I arrived, the place felt disorganized. I will say that the staff are very friendly! Many people were standing around, waiting for their turns to participate in activities. In fact, I spent more time waiting to do an activity than actually engaging in any fun. The heat upstairs also made the waiting uncomfortable. To make matters worse, I received the wrong wristband code, adding to the confusion. I was influenced by a local influencer to check this place out, but I later discovered it had only been open for four days, which might explain the issues. Also, be prepared to pay roughly around 12-20 dollars for parking, as that was an added cost I hadn't anticipated so we ended up parking down the road for free however it was nowhere near the facility. Overall, I didn't have any fun and chose to leave early. I hope they can improve their organization and manage wait times so that people get to enjoy themselves . read more

This was my first time trying a physical-challenge arcade. My family (and "framily") had visited one in NOVA before, so we had a sense of what to expect. Logan, the owner, generously explained the facility and let us trial a new room (Quick Step) that wasn't yet open to the public--very fun! The venue is on the oceanfront at the corner of Laskin Rd (across from Starbucks) in the former Bank of America building. When complete, the facility will have 30 rooms; 16 were open during our visit. Each room is a 2-5 minute game in one of three categories: physical, mental, or skill. Some rooms are quick to solve; others require several tries. You must reserve online in advance. Sessions are 2 or 4 hours: 2 hours is $36+tax, 4 hours $44+tax. We chose 2 hours, but 4 might be better if you get really engaged. At check-in you choose a team name that saves your progress. Complete at least 10 achievements to win a prize; we had three achievements left. Lockers are free. You get a wristband with a code to unlock rooms--only one person needs to log in and the whole team receives credit. Some rooms have "boss levels" unlocked after repeat completions. Each room's screen shows whether you beat the level. You may replay rooms unlimited times. Outside the locked rooms are two-player duel games. Staff will give hints on request. Favorites: Fast and Featherous, Casino room (we replayed both several times), Ball Runner maze, ball-target games, Quick Step, and the "Keep AI Running" challenge. The owner showed us upcoming rooms--archery, construction, a rock-paper-scissors skee-ball hybrid, "floor is lava," and more. It's a two-story facility; they sell T‑shirts and offer birthday-party room rentals. They opened fully on 2/9/26 and are still working out a few kinks. This place is cheaply put together and not worth the money. The kids are literally running around and yelling at the top of their lungs. The walls for each room don't reach the ceiling, so the noise just carries everywhere. About 4 or 5 rooms weren't even open as it looked like the are still being built. The games give vague directions and you spend more time just trying to shut the door to the room and figuring out what the objective of the game is. read more

This place isn't your typical arcade. This is more on the side of escape room mini games. There are mental games, physical games, and skill games. They are not very easy either, so we had to do a couple rooms multiple times. I was told by the owner that they had been waiting to open for awhile, but the city was making everything super complicated. They are still fine tuning certain things and the building still looks closed from the outside due to how hazy the doors are, but rest assured this place is open. There is still lots of things that need to be finished cosmetically, so it feels more like a soft opening but it is their third day of being open. There's still more game rooms that are a works-in-progress but I'm sure they will be up in no time. They also have it to where you can continue saving your points and progressing through each level every visit. You can also win cool prizes. I look forward to coming back. My husband and I were short on time because our table at the Atlantic opened up before our 2 hours of game time was up. But we will definitely be back. Only a handful of the games were actually entertaining. It was pretty dirty and ran unorganized. You had to play the games more than once to actually understand what to do. For $34 a ticket definitely not worth it, the games were overall uneventful. read more

The family and I played for 2 hours at Plix Plex and had a blast. I would totally recommend going on a week day, there were no wait times. The games are up to six players and super fun to play multiple times. If you like puzzles and challenges, this is for you! Would be epic for a date night or family fun! read more

It was so fun to be so honest. This is coming from a teenage by the way. I enjoyed every moment of it with my family. The games are quick, witty, creative, and fun. I can't wait to see them grow and remodel since it's still new don't put the weight of the world on it. I expect great things from future updates and improvements. Even with the games currently there I enjoyed the 2 hours and would honestly bring my friend group here. read more
