I can't say I experienced Chester's physical therapy sessions, but I did attend his Tai Chi class. I have to say Chester is a very knowledgeable instructor, and very easy going to boot. I like the fact that despite his considerable knowledge about many aspects of the martial arts, he isn't one of those know it all kung fu guys who claims to know everything about the martial arts. I think his class is perfect for beginners like me and people who are looking to get some exercise with a Tai Chi class. May not be for you if your focus is on punching and kicking and getting ready for an Octagon style MMA fight, although I think you could definitely pick up some good fighting techniques from Chester's class. Lots of parking (it's in a shopping center), other class members are friendly, a very non-intimidating atmosphere. Like another reviewer said, Chester is very generous with his time, is willing to answer any questions you might have for him, and seems to really care about his students. A great place to go if you want to learn about Tai Chi and internal style kung fu. read more

This is a fantastic facility and wonderful resource for the community. I took a 'chance' thinking otherwise I would have to go to TO to find someone good. I have no doubt that I found the best in Katrina and Plexus! Knowledgable, skilled and patient, she has helped me with neck issues and i have made great progress due to her care and continual adjustment of our program based on pinpointing my issues and pain. Do yourself a favor, look no further for a great PT facility. read more

All my life, I suffered from poor posture and low energy. After a consultation and several sessions with Chester, my health and the quality of my life has improved tremendously. Chester's background as an aerospace engineer and martial arts competitor gives him an unique expertise in his physical therapy. He draws upon the best of both western and eastern medical traditions along with mechanical engineering and physics to bring a highly effective holistic approach to health problems. As an independent business owner and techie guy, Chester also works to minimize the red tape and inefficiencies you often have to endure in medical practices. If you are fortunate enough to receive his care, you will see the integrity and purpose he brings to his work. Thank you Chester. read more

Dr.Chester, I have been dealing with a heel spur the last several years and I have only had 2 sessions so far and really love his services and the results i have experienced. As a provider I love how he utilizes his martial arts background and his trigger point, cupping, tai chi skills, as well as his vast knowledge of the bodies neurological system, with every session. He weaves so beautifully empowering movement, cupping and all the vast healing modality's. I have been so very impressed by his healing touch. My foot feels great and I feel effective results within his care. Thank you Chester for being so delightful to work with I am confident, to refer my dearest family and friends to his office. look forward to further care. read more

I had been dealing with neck and nerve pain in my left arm for months, and was skeptical about how effective PT would be in providing relief. Chester did a great job in identifying the root cause and providing a treatment plan with immediate results. After 11 visits I feel better than I've felt in a long time, and also had a plan going forward to hopefully prevent future episodes from occurring. I would recommend Plexus to anyone that needs care. read more

I highly recommend. Chester is great and each instructor gives one on one time and a lot of focus and attention to the clients. Also very good attitude and spirits from all the staff, very friendly. read more

Chester is the best PT ever. He makes sure you are gonna be well and makes sure you are taken cared of. He goes above and beyond expectations. Kudos to plexus PT! THANKS! -ivy- read more

I've known Chester Lin for quite some time and was very happy to hear he had set up his own shop. Finally had a chance to check out his service as I was experiencing occasional lower back/leg pain and one hour with Chester was enough for his team to properly diagnose the issue and recommend an effective treatment plan. Best physical therapist I've ever met! I'd drive an hour to see this guy. read more

Chester is a very skilled physical therapist and is willing to work with diverse populations. He is knowledgeable and patient. This clinic employs western and Chinese medicine approaches. The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming here with a variety of teas offered in the lobby. read more

Chester is the most attentive, tuned in, kinesthetically aware and kind physical therapist who knows how to adjust treatment to fit one's pain on any given day. I love how he integrates eastern medicine and philosophy into his treatments. Wouldn't go to anyone else. read more

I've been to three different Physical Therapists thus far and can say that Plexus is the best. Chester is great in all the right ways. He is generous with his time he spends on you, flexible in the way of finding a right time that will work with your schedule, and always looking to help you in any way he can. He listens and works in various way of helping you find the right exercises and treatment for your issues. You feel you are truly with an expert and one who listens to what you are saying openly. This is a 1 on 1 setup in most cases so you don't feel like you are getting "passed down the line" with different helpers and waiting on a hot pad too long unattended. This is a custom experience. Chester teaches tai chi as well as sword fighting classes on the side in addition to PT that he offers. I can't help but say I'm impressed with his ability to relate with his patients and treat them all as people. He isn't just a person to see but a friend. Awesome guy. If you need Physical Therapy, I highly recommend this place! read more

Plexus is great. They are very engaged and committed to what they do. My therapist is Kat and she is really helping me get back my mobility after an accident. Everyone there is super nice and great to deal with. I'm really glad to have them close by. Highly recommend. read more

Best PT business around! Chester and Kat both have worked with my teenage competitive swimmer/son in the last 3 years. They have been instrumental with helping him heal and strengthen his shoulder, knee, and recently his Achilles Tendon. Great advice with home exercise/stretching program, but also on other methods such as cupping. Very knowledgeable staff with professional/friendly personalities. Cristian as a great PT aide helped work with Daniel and Megan/Morgan as friendly office staff. read more

5 stars is not enough. Highly recommended. Kat is amazing and intuitive, excellent at patient care and education, all layman's terms no mambo jumbo medical terminologies. They did a lot on my ankle on my first appointment then what I received from the 3 visits i had in a facility in Moorpark put together! Tran and Meghan helped me sort out the confusion my insurance company had, making it possible for me to be a patient (as i was assigned to another facility even though Plexus was my chosen one as it was my husband's recommendation) taking the stress away from a potential patient. Amazing, pleasant and welcoming staff that will go out of the way for their (potential) patients. I don't think you can get this first class service anywhere else really. read more

Want the best quality care? Then come here! I was having severe back pain and after multiple doctors, chiropractor, other PT visits I was not getting the results I was looking for. Enter Chester and his team! They took me in and diagnosed me quickly. Chester also provided me at home exercises which I am currently doing and started to see some results! The entire staff is super friendly, smart and they are all willing to answer any questions you have. read more

The Plexus staff is amazing. I've dealt with lower back herniated disk for about 16 years. I've had three minor back procedures, two in the last year and a couple months. Before having my third surgery was struggling with hopelessness that I'd have to live in pain and limited in my physical movement and function. Dr. Katrina Camus provides me with excellent professional expertise as a physical therapist and also provided me with caring hope. She identified areas of weakness and immobility in my hips that no other physical therapist in the past had and started me at an appropriate level of therapy when I began with her back in September 2019. Today, I'm doing great. I had my third surgery and my recovery was great. I attribute my recovery to all the tools and encouragement provided by Dr Kat and the staff at Plexus. Chester, Tran, Kori, Christian, Uh, Megan and so others I can't recall ate all very kind, caring and patient with everyone who come through the doors seeking help. Thank you all!!!! read more

Went there seeking treatment for shoulder, neck and back pain. Kat did a great job working out my aches and pains using a combination of hands-on and machine treatment. She also provided me with detailed instructions (including photos and videos) for home exercise and massage. Plan to go there for future "tune-ups". read more

Just started. Very helpful so far. Chester sets the culture of true caring and Kat continues it.

This review is loooong overdue... I have been to many physical therapy offices and I always felt like cattle. You know those places-they just move large numbers of patients through, plop you on a machine and basically walk away or let an aide stare at you (usually the aide is too busy chatting with another aide to even notice if you are doing the exercises correctly). Enter Plexus.. Chester and Tran are super nice people who really care about helping you feel better. They have a small, intimate office and not only do they always have something sweet and some tea for you when you walk in- But they play awesome music! (Elvis Costello, anyone?) They do cupping if that is your thing and they get to the heart of the problem-This is not one size fits all PT. I had shoulder surgery 5 years ago and it acts up from time to time. I have been to other PT offices and they never helped me much. I can say I have been pain free for 6 months after my sessions with Tran. So what are you waiting for? Call them already! read more

I've been to Plexus two different times in the last two years for two different problems. I decided to try them because of their excellent Yelp reviews. They really know what they are doing. First time I went for the left knee, after three weeks knee was perfect! The doctor had wanted to do surgery on it, but never having done physical therapy wanted to try it. So glad I did. No surgery needed. Eighteen months later, hurt the right knee, went back to Plexus. Chester and Tran are knowledgeable, friendly and extremely good at what they do! read more

Go see Kat! I came into Plexus with recurring muscle spasms in my neck. Kat immediately set a plan in motion to strengthen my muscles and flexibility to free me from pain. During our visits she thoughtfully inquired about my daily activities to pin point my struggles. She taught me exercises to do at home and practiced with me. She is an absolute joy to work with and truly cares about her patients. Also, the team was super easy to work with regarding insurance and took all the worry away. read more

I wanted to update because I have since seen Tran for tmj issues. She is excellent, and has a strong amount of precision in releasing jaw/neck/head muscles. I've been to other places for this same issue, and she actually had me feeling a lot better in just one visit. That never happens. I went back once or twice and my jaw actually feels pretty good lately. I still see Chester for my spine issues, because that is one of his specialities. All in all, go here because this is the best place around. And I've been to 5 or so in the area. read more

The Absolute Best!!! When I first went to Plexus I was really weak after suffering an AVM Rupture, I had to walk with a cane and a leg brace. Over time they've helped me and now I've gained the strength to walk without help. Highly recommend Chester and his staff! read more

Chester is great. I called in to make sure they accepted my insurance and it turned out they did not. I spoke with Chester about it and he suggested I come in for a free 15 minute consultation. I went in and was pleasantly surprised by this small clinic. Chester was as nice as can be and I got in right at the scheduled time. He did an evaluation and gave me his thoughts along with some stretches to get me started in repairing my impingement. A few days later he even sent me an email with some more advice and things to look into to speed my path to recovery. THANK YOU! read more

I wish I could give Plexus Physical Therapy 100000 stars. I found their site through a simple google search and started seeing Chester for my chronic shoulder injury a few months ago. Both PTs, Chester and Tran, immediately made me feel comfortable with their excellent bedside manner and willingness to guide me through why each exercise would be helpful for my condition. Chester also did not hesitate to treat any painful condition I came in with each visit in addition to my initial condition at assessment. These two really know their field well and make the therapy process fun and engaging to top it off! The PTs here also value each patient and give them great detail of attention. Would definitely recommend their practice for any of your physical pain needs. I am very blessed and thankful to have met these two lovely people! read more

I'm 15 years post stroke, and I was referred to Plexus by my massage therapist June 2016. Chester is amazing! I passed him on his way to the mailbox as I was headed to the clinic; he had me evaluated in that few minutes when we passed. Over the years I've tried many physical therapy clinics in Simi Valley and Moorpark. They are truly the only experts in neurological physical therapy in the area. Plexus is patient focused. They actually treat their patients' needs as a whole, not just the physical issues. They understand the importance of mental healing, and create an atmosphere to form friendships and families. They aren't just great therapists; they are exceptional teachers as well. I look forward to going to my sessions every week; not just for the physical therapy, but to see the friends and family I've made since I started. I initially went in to address some pain I was experiencing. Im happy to report that while I'm still having some pain, it isn't as severe as when I started. Im walking better though. If you have any neurological issues, please stop in Plexus and see Chester, Tran, and their excellent interns. I promise your body and mind will thank you! read more

Excellent Physical Therapy!!! I have been coming to Tran since February and I have never felt so good. I have been dealing with low back and hip pain for the last 6 years. After trying cortisone injections, ablations to my nerves and chiropractic, Tran was able to pinpoint my true problem and help me work through it. I am so happy I have found them!! read more

Tran Thai and the whole team at Plexus Physical Therapy are incredible! They are so helpful, kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. I was going to another Physical Therapist for months, but was not improving. I switched over to Plexus Physical Therapy and received treatment from Tran Thai. Within two weeks I had more improvement than I had from the months I was getting treatment at the other Physical Therapy place. Tran Thai thoroughly evaluated my condition every time I came in, and would give me exercises accordingly. I would mention a pain in my neck and she always knew exactly what to do to relieve me, and she would teach me her techniques so I could do them at home on my own. I have been so blessed by Plexus Physical Therapy. I highly recommend them to everyone I know. A huge thanks to Tran Thai and the Plexus Physical Therapy team for helping me recover. It's definitely bitter sweet leaving. I'm glad I'm healed, but I'll miss seeing them weekly. read more

Chester is amazing. I've been to sooo many physical therapists. Many have been unable to identify the underlying cause behind my knee issues, but he was able to pinpoint it very quickly and show me. Unlike many other places, I love that he gives you one-on-one attention. He's very good at working out tense muscles. I'm also a martial artist with 20 years experience in fighting. My power and speed are already pretty good. But using frame-by-frame video analysis, he told me where my technique was lacking. He then helped me readjust my punching technique so that it was even faster and more powerful!!! We took videos before and after 2 sessions. The difference was unbelievable...I was floored by the improvement. He's got an eye for these things. I think his engineering background coupled with physical therapy gives him an upper edge on the other places I've visited. Highly, highly recommend. Especially if you're an athlete. read more

Chester's Awesome Tai Chi . . . . . What I appreciate most about Chester is his willingness to share rarely known or disclosed internal martial arts knowledge for achieving effortless tai chi power. This is something I was not taught in over 14 years of prior study under several very experienced tai chi instructors. Both new and experienced tai chi students would benefit greatly from Chester's classes. read more

I've seen 3 different physical therapist in the last few years for my lower back. I wish I had known about Chester in the beginning. But I guess I wouldn't know how great he is if I couldn't compare him with others. What I really liked about him is his sincerity and true concerns for your pain. Like others who stated he focuses more on your treatment then the time clock, I 100% agree! Also he was the first one to work with me through the entire session rather than sending me off with an assistant. It's crucial that your able to work and exercise with your therapist so that THEY, the experts, can see if your doing the moves correctly, otherwise you may not get the full benefits. With 100% conviction I believe he is an outstanding choice for your treatments, therefore I highly recommend him. Thank you!!!! read more

This place is amazing, the difference is LEGIT! So happy with how far I've come in only two weeks.

Dr.Kat is absolutely amazing!! Not only does she have a wealth of knowledge but she is extremely personable! She helped me with my chronic lower back pain following pregnancy and childbirth. I had struggled with the pain for years and couldn't be happier with the results I have achieved thus far. I have since referred her to both my parents who continuously rave and further refer her. I Love Katrina Camus (Kat) and Plexus Physical Therapy. I can't begin to tell you how pleased I am with the staff, especially Kat, who is my Therapist. She is absolutely AMAZING. She continuously goes above and beyond in order to ensure that I completely recover. After having a knee replacement, I started Physical Therapy at a different location and I was not making the progress that I should have. I was even told by the therapist that I probably would not get any better. (How encouraging) I switched to Plexus Physical Therapy and was lucky enough to get Kat as my Therapist. I have been making steady progress and have gotten better faster than I ever did at the other PT Facility. At the present time I have completely recovered from my knee replacement surgery and I am back to a 99% level. Without having Kat as my therapist I do not believe this could have happened. At Plexus Physical Therapy you have the therapist with you the entire time instead of being handed off to someone else. Kat and everyone else at the office has the skills, equipment , training and especially the compassion, bedside manner, to ensure you recover from your injury or whatever it is that takes you there. I would definitely recommend Kat and Plexus Physical Therapy to anyone who has physical therapy needs. She is the BEST!!!! read more
