This review is long overdue. Dr. Zewert and his team are phenomenal! I know the other reviews…read morealready mentioned how amazing they are and it is true. I experienced this first hand when I went in last year around August for a consultation. Dr. Zewert and his team make you comfortable the minute you walk thru their doors. From the staff in the front to the nurse that takes you to the back room to meeting Dr. Zewert, it was overall a great experience. My nurse was terrific, and she was down to earth. She stuck with me thru the consultation, and I also saw her on the day of the surgery which put me at ease. The front desk knew me by name every time I came in, and it was nice to see that they relate to you on a personal level. What I love about Dr. Zewert is the knowledge he shared with me during the consultation. He wasn't trying to sell me a pricey option or one that would only please me right away but would hurt my body in the long term. He was genuinely concern and truly wants the best for the client. He didn't sugar coat the process and was straightforward about the option that was best for my body type. The result of my surgery is simply beautiful, and I am so thankful I chose him. If you are looking for a great surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Zewert to anyone looking to get work done. I could not have asked for a better doctor and team. Thank you so much for a great experience and results!

I took her to the CHOMP ER and kindly requested a plastic surgeon to stitch her up. We were so lucky that Dr. Goldberg happened to be there at the same time and was willing to help my daughter. He has an excellent bedside manner with kids (and parents!). My daughter was scared at first, but his demeanor relaxed her. He numbed her face and stitched her up, all while being kind and warm. He took a scary situation and made it look like a piece of cake. I am beyond grateful for him. Now almost a year later and my daughter's face looks great!

I recently had to have 2 unexpected biopsies done on my face. Dr. Goldberg went above and beyond to accommodate the scheduling of this appointment to coincide with another medical appointment ( only 2 days later) which required me to discontinue a medicine 5 days prior to the procedure. His kindness to accommodate me like this, kept me from having to discontinue this important medication for another 5 days at a different time. Now that's what I say is a Dr. who goes above and beyond to care for for his patients! That is the exactly the type of Dr. I want to see, and recommend to my family and friends. Which I thought was odd.. is this to fast? Hmm.. Then people off the street would ask if I had Bell's Palsy because one side of my lip slanted a lot more than the other. It was so hurtful and made me never smile or even want to look at people and see their reaction to my lips. I did my research and found Gallery Plastic Surgery. Nurse Holly sat with me and explained we would need to start over and she will "work her magic" and LET ME TELL YOU!! Nurse Holly did! This is not an over night thing- but she has made me feel so much more confident, smiling more and show off my beautiful lips! Nurse Holly you have done more then just filler for me, you have changed how I feel, the way I interact with people and made my confidence sky rocket! I'm forever grateful! I will always recommend this office to EVERYONE! Side note- my girlfriend already got her mommy make over by Dr. Wendy Wong and girllll is on fire! :) Thank you to everyone at the office- the receptionist, nurses...everyone! I typically don't leave reviews but I've had my second appointment with Catherine Biren and…read more.. 1) Twice they hand me a print out for female pattern baldness(?) 2) On the second visit the doctor tells me I can take my own before and after shots when I requested to see the images they had taken. In context I was stating that my hair-line had receded since the last visit; which I don't recall affirmation of, then I wanted to use their reference images to validate my claim. So either it was dismissive, evasive, or both. 3) Dr Biren informed me that finasteride is not FDA approved and treated as "under the table." The implication; IIRC, being that its not really prescribed or approved to address male pattern baldness. Much like how Minoxidil was originally prescribed for high blood pressure - The assertion (or implication?) is that even today these drugs are prescribed "under the table" as they are not intended to address balding at all. I took her word at the time but quick research shows that Finasteride has been FDA approved for male pattern baldness since the 90s. 4) While they brought up potential blood pressure monitoring; as they prescribed Oral Monoxidil in the prior visit, they both did not follow up and seemed to have misplaced the tools needed for blood pressure measurement? I even expressed excitement over getting my blood pressure readings at the time. I was recommended by a Monterey Primary care doctor who did not know what Finasteride was at all. Stated it was another name for Minoxidil. Then recommended this Dermatologist once it became evident that assertion was false. Is this a thing with Monterey doctors? I have already spent hundreds of dollars and been delayed for almost a year (IE Primary doctor - Dermatologist initial - Dermatologist follow up). My initial goal was to; basically, get a prescription for Finasteride and have my health indicators monitored for negative side-effects. Instead I'm told Finasteride == Monoxidil and that Finasteride is not FDA approved. I really don't know what to make of that. Incredibly frustrating. The general attitude I sensed from my visits was; basically, that I should just accept that I am balding. I can respect that sentiment to an extent but then why prescribe Minoxidil and schedule a follow-up? I can see myself being dissuaded from using Finasteride but I do not believe it is acceptable to do so under false basis. Addendum: I also recall not being able to get a cost projection before leaving the practice and scheduling the theoretic follow-up appointment? Even this seems a bit... Unethical?

I got a dental block and kiss filler and everything heeled and looked wonderful. I wanted another syringe and belle moved so I made arrangements with doctor lipman. I asked for a dental block and something went wrong. The next morning I was still numb and they kept telling me that it's normal. Well an additional day went by and I was still numb. Here we are a month later and my face is still numb and I can't make a proper kissy face and my lip goes to the side when I rub them together. I was told I had an allergic reaction which seems not right to me seeing as I had the same filler and dental block the second time and had no reaction the first time. The follow up has been awful too. I felt as if I was treated like another transaction. I just want to warn anyone who chooses to get filler because everything I've been going through has been really scary and the office is making me feel like they're not concerned at all. I think anyone else who can't feed there lips after a month would also be concerned and scared!

When asked what could be done, I was told that he could do revision surgery but that the effect would be minimal and likely not produce the impact I desired. I was also cautioned that the surgery involved risks, such as hematoma, infection. Interesting that these were not mentioned when approaching the first surgery. So it was meant to discourage me from doing another surgery. The bill would also have been 9k for the surgery center. After 22k for the first one!
