Karen and Patrick Buckley are - HANDS DOWN - the best realtors you could ask for! They know…read moreeverything there is to know about buying and selling and they really get to know you during the entire process. I first met Karen when my boyfriend and I wanted to go see a house I found on Zillow. From there, she took us on many hunts for a new home. She really understood what we were looking for and worked with our price point. Prices have risen a lot recently, so we have yet to purchase a home, but in the meantime, I decided to sell my own townhome. Of course I asked Karen to be my realtor! Karen spent many, many hours talking with me in person AND on the phone, sending emails, and even texts. She was the most responsive realtor I could have hoped for and always had helpful, detailed answers for every single one of my questions. If she was unavailable at any time (which was rare!), Patrick stepped in seamlessly to assist. Karen worked with my HOA, the title company, and the buyer's agent to get all the information needed and everything always had an incredibly fast turnaround time. Karen and Patrick even did the staging for my home and it turned out AMAZING! I very nearly had second thoughts about selling the place! Karen had a professional photographer take the photos for the listing and they turned out really well. Patrick took some of the photos himself and they were excellent - he has a great eye for how to take listing photos! Karen and Patrick even did a virtual tour website and gave me a DVD with the staging photos as a keepsake. When the house was in the final closing stages, Karen and Patrick came by to collect their staging items and even helped me getting some of my heavier items into my moving truck. This was such a great help to me and I appreciated it so much. On the day of closing, Karen actually drove me to the office and was there to help walk me through all the documents before signing. It was a HUGE help and such an amazing thing for her to do. I really felt she had my back from start to finish. On top of all this, Karen and Patrick are two of the most warm and genuine people I have met. They both have a great sense of humor and extensive knowledge on every aspect of the buying and selling process. Karen's past experiences as a broker and Patrick's past experiences at Zillow make them a really well-rounded team who will give you the best real estate expertise around. In fact, I dare you to find anyone better! Karen and Patrick are the best team you could ever ask for and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them whether you are selling or buying. They ROCK!!

I second everything the below reviewer said about Karen and Patrick Buckley…read more In an extremely competitive market, their combined 30 years experience made a difference. We ended up buying our dream home even though we were not the highest offer due to Karen's negotiation skills and ability to write an attractive contract. My fiancé and I were first time homebuyers. I really appreciated the time they took to educate us about the home buying process during our initial meeting. We came to the Coldwell Banker Bain office once during our home search. The receptionist was very friendly and outgoing. All in all, we had an amazing experience and would recommend Karen and Patrick to everyone :)

Michael worked tirelessly with agents on both sides of the deals and kept us encouraged and informed at all times. I'll admit to feeling less than optimistic. Like many other people in the current economic depression, we had to short sell our house recently…read more Bear in mind this is not something that I would have ever chosen to do - my husband and I literally got laid off from our jobs within two weeks of each other, and we had to make the radical decision to move to Las Vegas where my husband had a good job lined up for him at the time. I loved this house dearly and hated to see it go, but that's the economic reality. And no, we weren't deadbeats who couldn't afford the house. This was literally the weirdest sale ever. The buyer, and moreover the buyer's lender, had such severe problems that this deal was in jeopardy multiple times during the sale. We went through attorneys to delay the short sale, had document mixups, and experienced any other problem you can possibly think of, and Andy and his team still managed to wade through all the confusion and close this sale. This sale included issues with the buyer's lender fudging the paperwork to be $700 short which caused a week's delay, the buyer randomly showing up with huge amounts of cash which required paperwork to be redrawn, and complete disarray in paperwork that no one but Andy and his team could possibly sort out. Despite all these things, Andy, Kamran, and the other people at VREG managed to navigate this nightmare and get this deal figured out. We had multiple dealings with attorneys which helped us extend this process, but the real noteworthy thing is that there was a point where our attorney told us that our sale could be delayed no longer. Despite this "official" legal advice, Andy and his staff pressed our mortgage holder, and managed to get a further extension which finally enabled this deal to go through. Andy and his team at Venture Real Estate Group are nothing short of miracle workers in the Seattle real-estate market. They managed to close what is, I am assuming, one of the most ridiculously complicated sales they have ever seen. I cannot recommend Andy Langsord and Venture Real Estate Group highly enough. They managed to turn what would have been an absolutely hopeless experience into one that worked.

They neglected invoices, leaving us in arrears with vendors. They mismanaged our property, refusing to visit or saying they had visited when we knew they hadn't. They didn't show up for meetings. They canceled meetings the day of. They failed to notice billing issues that wrecked our vendor accounts and then refused to fix the problem. They told us repeatedly that it was not their job to manage our community. They refused to tell us how much money was in our accounts or answer any accounting questions. They accused our Board of being unresponsive because we didn't answer emails within an hour or two and then ignored us when we did answer. They completely ignored our residents, including during emergencies. They didn't provide any emergency contact number for our residents, and when our Board members tried to contact their after hours emergency vendor they refused to take any action without Bell Anderson's approval. They didn't answer our phone calls, text messages, or emails for days on end and then when they did answer they were curt and maliciously unhelpful. Their community association manager refused to take part in meetings. Bell Anderson's policy is to not take minutes during meetings, forcing us to hire an outside contractor to attend meetings and take minutes for an additional $400/month on top of their management fee. The association managers they assigned to us were a 90 year old man whose executive functioning abilities were long gone, and then when he finally retired they gave us a woman who *openly* treated us like she hated us from day one. Meanwhile, through all of this and much more, they had no trouble pocketing the management fee check month after month. When we finally had enough and planned to fire them, they got wind of it and "fired us first", stopped paying all our bills, and refused to cooperate with the incoming new mangement company. The owner of Bell Anderson and the operations manager were unapologetic and arrogant through all of this. If you are considering hiring this company, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at onetaothree @ gmail, I have many references and testaments to what a horrible, incompetent, outright toxic company Bell Anderson is. Thank you for reading all of this and please don't hesitate to share it as widely as possible.
