I met Lucas Pinto, a realtor at Hometown Advisor, two years ago and worked with him consistently through the purchase of my first home last week. Lucas was absolutely amazing in every aspect from start to finish. Allow me to provide a few details as to what made Lucas the perfect realtor for me. 1. No Pressure. At absolutely no point in my two-year search for a home did Lucas ever pressure me to make an offer on a home. And at no point did he ever push me to make a higher offer than I was comfortable making. It was apparent to me throughout the entire home-buying process that Lucas' main concern was for me to get a home that I was happy with at a price that I felt comfortable paying. 2. Responsiveness. Lucas was responsive to every single one of my requests. If I wanted to see a home, Lucas would show it to me (keep in mind, he did this almost weekly for two years). Additionally, he would take the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions by phone or e-mail. Keep in mind that, as a first time home-buyer, I had a LOT of questions. 3. Expertise. Lucas is truly an expert in all aspects of real estate. For example, at some point during my search, I decided to broaden my search from condos I wanted to live in to investment properties. Lucas was able to explain to me what features would make a property profitable as an investment. Additionally, when I did find an investment property, Lucas showed me how to write a rental contract, how to collect payments on-line, how to run a credit check on potential renters, and how to find a contractor to fix up the property, and how to find a handy-man for making repairs when needed. Lucas' expertise was also apparent when we made offers on homes. He would also give me a thorough explanation of what a home's market value was, and what he thought it would go for. If I chose to make an offer, he would tell me what he thought it would take to get a home. But, again, there was never any pressure for me to make high bids -- just advice as to whether or not my offer would be competitive or not. 4. Going beyond. Lucas did much more for me than simply show me homes. As mentioned above, he coached me on how to be a landlord. He sent out letters to property owners in areas I was interested in purchasing to see if any of them might consider selling their home to me. He showed me exactly how to make intelligent investment decisions for rental homes (what I should update, what I should leave as is), etc. 5. Friendly. Lastly, Lucas was just a very friendly and fun person to be around. I truly enjoyed seeing homes with Lucas and chatting with him about real estate and other things. Lucas seems more like a friend than an agent. If you are looking for a realtor, I HIGHLY recommend you consider working with Lucas. You will not be disappointed. read more

I sincerely believe that if Aaron from Hometown had not been my realtor, I would not have been able to purchase a home in this crazy Seattle market. Aaron cheerfully went out of his way to show me around Seattle listings while working around my hectic schedule. Instead of just trying to sell me anything, he pointed out the pros and cons of each listing and let me make the decision for myself. When I finally found the right home, Aaron sat down and walked me through the process of putting in an offer; we didn't waive inspection, we didn't add an escalation clause. We just came in with a strong, clean offer. And it was accepted. All of my friends, who have also been trying to find homes, were floored that I got an acceptance on my very first offer. I had a bit of trouble with my original mortgage company, and Aaron fought to convince the seller not to back out of the sale, as the listing had already gone up 50k in value since we put in our offer. Then Aaron helped me find a mortgage agent who was able to close everything in five days so that we did not have to file for yet another extension and risk losing the house altogether. This was a really stressful process, and Aaron was there for me, fighting to help me get the house, every step of the way. As a single woman buying a home in a very tough market, having Aaron on my side made this process feel so much less stressful and intimidating. I am so grateful for his help, and so very happy to now be a proud homeowner. read more

There is not enough I can say about having Aaron Denunzio and Hometown Advisor Real Estate help us buy our first home. First of all Aaron is one of the friendliest people I have ever met. He is able to make even the most stressful parts of buying a home happy and hopeful. He is always available at any time to answer my emails/phone calls/texts. And there are a lot of them! He is very informative and takes the time to thoroughly answer any questions or concerns we have. One of the best parts of having Aaron as our realtor is his sincere concern for us as his clients. He is in no way a salesman more concerned with the sale than he is with the people. He is upfront and honest and really fights for what he knows is best for you and your family. We have a special situation in buying our home because we are not currently living in the area. So Aaron has been ferrying back and forth, driving all over, and walking a good deal all while having us on the phone via FaceTime! He tirelessly has gone to see every home we have had interest in and made sure to show us and share every detail that he knew would matter to us. We will be buying our house sight unseen and the only person we would trust to pull this off would be Aaron. Absolutely without a doubt, if you are looking for a realtor you can have confidence in and know is looking out for your best interest, you cannot find anyone better than Aaron and Hometown Advisor Real Estate. read more

JOHN BRINK GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND! John is an excellent realtor who simplifies the home buying process. From the moment I met John, I knew that I was working with a no- nonsense professional. John came to our first meeting with a wealth of information and a cool and calm demeanor. John helped me navigate the financing process, and his recommendation of loan type, and finance agency ended up saving me $8000 in closing costs, and even got me a lower interest rate and APR. John and I looked at 20+ houses before finally finding a home that met a very specific criteria list. John was super flexible and was willing to meet me at odd hours in order to accommodate my busy work schedule. His support was unwavering throughout the entire home buying process, which made me feel comfortable and calm during a stressful time. John's customer service skills and knowledge of building/contracting elevated my abilities to pick the right home and submit a fair offer. One example of John' customer service is when he met me on a Saturday and looked at houses with me for 9 hours. When the market is HOT, it's good to be working with a PRO!! I now refer John to all my friends and family in the WA area. Thanks for everything John! read more

My Wife and I had been renting for quite some time. During that time, Scott kept in touch and always offered his assistance to help us when we felt the time was right to start looking at homes. Scott sent information about homes that fit our criteria and also provided valuable research about the homes that my Wife was interested in. Once we narrowed down the search, and a couple of the right homes became available, Scott made every effort to keep us in front of the bouncing ball to make sure we did not miss the chance to own the home that we wanted. Scott's expertise as an agent really came to light once we found the house we wanted to buy. He provided valuable information to help us make a solid offer, he made every effort to stay in contact with us as things were progressing, and even prepared us for the worst case scenario if it came to be. We followed his advice and we are now living happily in our new home! If we decide to go through the home buying experience again, we will be working with Scott! Thank you Mr. Fiechtner! Jaye Siqueiros is a great real estate agent we had a lucky fortune to deal with. It was our first experience of buying property in the USA, so we had a lot of questions and concerns and very little confidence in what we should do and what we should not. She supported us in everything and gave valuable advice on all matters including inspection and subsequent renovations. She was always available when necessary and replied to all our calls and emails promptly. During the deal we had a delay due to the mistake made by the bank which could have put the whole deal at risk because of the limited time frame. Jaye was constantly in touch with the bank employees and pushed them reminding about the deadline. Thanks to her we were on time. Jaye was even present during the inspection of the house and during the final closing which not every agent does. We can highly recommend Jaye as a very reliable and knowledgeable real estate agent your deal will be successful with. Thanks, Jaye! read more

I have worked with Nolan Vance previously, and he has not changed at all! He has high energy, is more than willing to listen, and is able to explain things that came up along the way. He is more than willing to help out in any way he can, be it prepping the house for pictures, open house or whatever....he even helped me remove the carpet in the condo that we bought! He was very instrumental in our dealings with other realtors and clients. Some of the other realtors were not not acting in the clients best interest (ie they did not want to even show us a house because they had two other offers...how did he know how much we would have offered? In the long run I would want to steer away from that deal just so I would not have to deal with the seller's agent). This is what makes it interesting. Nolan Vance and Lacy Ford make such a fantastic team!! read more

He can provide any general advice because he's been so familiar with great Seattle house market. Chris is also a quick responding person. He's always answer to my questions and follow up with sales agents promptly. Janice Cai, recently helped us purchase a house in the very tight Bellevue market 98004. She worked with us for about 6 months: took us to open houses and always optimistic and steadfast through lack of satisfactory hourses and rejections of offers. She paid close attention to what we desired in a home and what we were willing to live without. She was extremely helpful, communicative, and attentive throughout the process. We very much enjoyed spending time with Janice and would highly recommend her as a personable, professional, and attentive asset during what can be a stressful time. We can't recommend her highly enough! Without her help, we cannot win our house in the face of stiff competition from other buyers, and for that we are perpetually grateful. - Xiaoqin Li and Xiaoyan Tu read more

Scott helped us with purchase of two homes over the past 4 years. He is a fantastic guy with years of experience. As a young couple, we wanted to buy a home for the long term, but looking at open houses, we were confused what will work for us. He walked us through several homes to determine what will work best for us, and how we should figure whether what is affordable versus worth the price. He was available, even on his vacation, to get the offer signed off, helping us understand the language in purchase contracts and addendums, picking us up to show homes, making sure we got a rate lock, and also calling in an inspector on our request. He is easily reachable by phone or email. My wife and I are very happy with our experience. We would definitely work with Scott again! read more

Ed Lane blew us away with his dedication, optimism and overall knowledge of Real Estate and the market. We would not have found and purchased our home without his help and will be forever grateful to have met and worked with him. Anyone out there looking for a home is doing themselves a disservice to not come to him first. It is a brutal market out there and he is able to put everything in perspective and provide the best customer service while finding you the home you have been searching for. I could not recommend him and his team enough. We were so confident in their abilities to get us the best home at the price. the inspection was done to perfection and we felt completely safe investing and moving in to our home. read more

I really appreciate our realtor, Cameron Anderson, for being patient with us as we searched for our forever home. His knowledge and expertise made us feel very comfortable working with him throughout our home buying process from start to finish. He listened to us describe our wants and needs and was continually willing to show us home after home--day or night--and answer all of our questions. Cameron always came prepared, having researched in advance the home he was showing to us, which really helped us have a better picture of what we were looking at and guided us in making quick, but informed decisions. I'm so glad we could work with Cameron and would highly recommend choosing him as your realtor! read more

We worked with Janice Cai and she was awesome! She is very knowledgeable and works hard for her clients. Janice makes decisions quickly and efficiently. She responds by text almost immediately during the selling. She is great with numbers and pays attention to all aspects of the sales process. Janice also works with a great home staging specialist and photo/videographer. The other team members were very professional and easygoing as well. We were relocating out of state and needed to close quickly and Janice knew exactly how to do that. We would strongly recommend Janice to all our friends. It was a pleasure to work with her. read more

I have been working with Lucas for close to one year and last week we finally closed! He has been super helpful, thoughtful and patient through the entire process, altering my ever-changing requests and making sure that every home I saw- was meeting my expectations or exceeding. In addition, Lucas gave me realistic views of what I would be getting for the budget I was working with- in the different neighborhoods ranging from Auburn to Shoreline. I enjoyed working with Lucas and I'm kind of sad that we won't be going on weekend house hunting trips! It has been a pleasure working with him and his team! read more

Matt McGaffey was great as helping us navigate all the detail of purchasing our new home. We were both new to the disclosures and the offer and wait issues that can come up. Although the first home we were after became a bidding war that we lost, Matt was reassuring and clam and helped us not fall into despair. We found another property soon after and he was amazing at walking us through and helping us with the purchase, documents, and communicating with the mortgage company. I can without hesitation recommend Matt and Hometown. read more

Jason Crummer has been my agent in past so when my husband and I decided to downsize, we knew that Jason would be the right person to help us buy a condo and then sell our house. He has been a lifesaver during this crazy process as my husband is out of town right now and I work 2 jobs. He handles everything, explains everything, and is there whenever I need advise. I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants a no-fuss buy/sell. He really goes out of his way to help his clients, you just couldn't ask for a better agent. read more

Ed Laine is extremely experienced and knowledgeable and took on selling our condo on Capitol Hill without taking any commission, (all commissions were paid to a mutual friend and co-worker's recent widow). A stand up guy with all of the skills needed to represent buyers or sellers in the greater Seattle market. It's hard to get top dollar in Seattle with prices already so high and interest rates going up, I'm very confident Ed helped us achieve the best possible outcome with the sale of our unit.
