Pleasures Unlimited - Google this product- it sells for half this amount at any other retail store! - Videos & Video Game Rental Near Me - Napa, California

The selection of toys is very limited to the standard things so if you want something that's not the norm this isn't your place. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable the prices are a bit high but that's what you get in Napa. We frequent this store often because Vallejo doesn't have a good store with quality products. read more

For all your sensual, kinky, and sexual fun needs . Pleasures is so far the best store I've found in the last 20 years in Northern California and certainly in the North Bay! They also have a store in Petaluma but I've not been there but given the quality of staff, store inventory and knowledge the owner has established at the downtown Napa location, I expect the Petaluma is truly a sister store of same high quality. It's nice to have both men and women sales associates at the store that are familiar and knowledgeable with toys, clothing and all for all genders and orientations. I've found that all the products they sell are high quality and that they have no cheaply made or inferior products, from mouth mints to French maid outfits! If they don't have it they will order it for you and their hours of operation make it easy to get to even if you are traveling from out of Napa or Sonoma county, as many of their long time customers do. The store is conveniently located near larger parking options and doesn't have a seedy feel about it at all, making it comfortable for couples and all, to not feel rushed, given enough privacy but supported in any questions that u might have on their expansive inventory of sex toys, kink equipment and all the other necessities of modern sexuality like condoms and lubes. They even have a good book selection of hard and soft cover books that range from fun & games to educational and specific topics such as Tantra or BDSM. They have a funny and tongue in cheek card selection for your love/ play partner's enjoyment! They have a good selection of men's underwear and women's lingerie, in a variety of sizes. Everything is well stocked and no shortages like I've seen at other adult toy stores. Pleasure has an upscale feel about it that fits into the Napa downtown vibe and doesn't feel out of place on a popular business street and is not tucked away in a funky location and perhaps unsafe area. The most successful element behind the quality and diversity of inventory, is the sales staff's level of knowledge, experience, and outstanding customer service attitude of truly being helpful but not pushy, while still being attentive and respectful, is what sets Pleasures Unlimited apart from its competitors! Just a short walk from Main Street and the Napa River hotel and restaurant district, check them out and enjoy ! read more

Glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews. Maybe it wasn't the employees at the place but the customers that were a problem. That being said my experience was awesome. Wasn't sure id leave a review but what the heck. When you get excelente customer service it's worth leaving a review. Walked in, guy was finishing up breakfast. He let me kind of browse a little but I can tell he was ready to help me. As soon as he noticed I was ready to ask questions he approached me. Made some recommendations and pointed out some the best sellers. That lead to my preference and Wala the results were awesome. I like how the whole experience was comfortable and easy. Didn't try to sell me something I didn't want or sell me something expensive just to sell me something. Showed how everything worked and took the time to make sure I would know how to use once I got home. Overall looking forward to taking the drive out here if I have any other purchases. read more

This place has a pretty decent selection for a small town sex shop. I came in for some stockings and lingerie, and though the selection was small, it was varied. They also had a good selection of high quality vibrators. The joke gift selection is the best part of the store, I laughed out loud walking past it. The "Ring for a Big D**k" bell was my personal favorite. The lady behind the counter was very nice. I've met the owner a few times and he's always been very nice. The shop has been here for over 18 years, which is pretty amazing. read more

OK I'm posting this to help the store out. Seriously no other reason. We walked in and it felt like I walked into a Brooklyn pizzeria - the desk was right up front and two dudes that should've been on Harleys were working the store -you need to move that desk in the back for a little less aggressive intro - and put attractive, woman there and not some bald dudes. No female is going to feel comfortable walking in there. read more

Went to look for a bridal shower gift. The guy that was working there was very helpful. Gave me ideas for the gift and answer my questions.

The lady who runs the store was nice at first. My husband and I were looking around and wanting to buy something for ourselves that was until the owner came at us very rudely. She was looking at us very closely and monitoring us closely as well and making side comments about not touching the cabinets which were opened already. Honestly take your business elsewhere somewhere nicer. Where they don't watch your every move! 0/10 read more

Had an amazing first experience here. The owner was so helpful and had such great vibes, just cheerful and helpful! Came from Fairfield because we all know how awful "Secrets" is. Will be back!!! read more

I wish I didn't have to leave this review, however it feels like the altruistic thing to do. I wore a mask in here and the receptionist made it uncomfortable by thanking the other customer by loudly saying, "thank you for not wearing a mask." We are trying to survive a pandemic. Please do not waste your money here. I know this is the only adult store in Napa, but honestly just order whatever you want from Amazon. read more

This is a friendly local store that actually has great lingerie and fun women's clothing in all sizes. There are ZERO stores that carry bras and underwear that don't feature the generic "Hanes" label in town - so this is a great find! I highly recommend them. They also have lotions and potions that I didn't investigate but the displays were full, tasteful, and the shop was impeccably clean. Best part was the staff was friendly, not creepy, nor intimidating. Kudos! read more

This was the worst customer service experience. Lady behind the counter refused to help my girlfriend and I at all while continuing to snack while working. I would not even give this place a one star. All sales are final and the toys are way overpriced. The toys I purchased do not function properly and the store owner was so rude. I would not go here and I will never be coming back. I spent over $500 in the store and the owner would not even give me store credit for the one toy that was broken. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Everything in the store is terrible quality, and the merchandise can be purchased online for half the price. read more

My husband and I stopped real quick for a specific item. The owner was eminently creepy, pompous, and sketchy on so many levels. We are super friendly, laid back people. For us to discern that uncomfortable vibe about someone speaks volumes. read more

Great place for lingerie in Napa where there is no where to buy those items. Beware not returnable (so take your time from the large selection ) but that makes me feel better that the Owner has strict policies for our health. Napa is a small town so choices being scarce persuaded me to give "Pleasures" a chance despite the reviews I read on Yelp. I wasn't convinced it was worth a trip in though so I decided to at least try calling to see if they had what I was looking for. I was incredibly embarrassed that the man who answered the phone had me on speaker through the entire conversation. I'm sorry but if I'm calling an adult store to ask about an incredibly private purchase I don't want it broadcasted! This SHOULD be common sense. My nervousness must have been obvious because the man then began questioning me on how long I have lived in the area and why I haven't visited his shop before- while his flirtatious manner was (hopefully) intended to put me at ease it merely made me feel as though I were taking to some kind of sexual predator. I gave the shop two stars because I cannot comment on the qualities of items available - all I can judge this place on is atmosphere based on the creepiest dude to ever answer a phone. Thanks but no thanks- I took my business to Amazon.com- they aren't suggestive, creepy or completely insensitive to the idea of that thing called "privacy." read more

Clean and classy and will fulfill all of your vanilla needs. There's an entire selection of lubes, insertables, constumes - whatever you and your date desire. The staff is professional and won't shy away from giving you straight answers on what you're considering. Don't beat around the bush... if you're planning on putting that riding crop to purpose, tell them, and they'll let you know if it'll withstand the level of punishment you're about to inflict on that rump. If you're more "adventurous", this store might be a little bit disappointing. Then again, there are stores for that in SF that can fulfill just about any need. The only catch is that you'll have to accept the notion that you may, in fact, be a pervert. Remember: it's only kinky the first time. read more

I stopped by the store this last weekend with my boyfriend as we were strolling through Napa. I was perusing their lingerie section and made a suggestion to my boyfriend about a pair of underwear I'd like to see him in. One of the men behind the counter made an incredibly rude comment that made us both so uncomfortable we immediately left the store without making a purchase. We were both initially impressed with the variety of needs the store appealed to for such a small town, but it was completely spoiled by the attitudes of the people working there. It was disappointing to discover an establishment that centers around exploration and sex to be close minded and condescending. read more

Now I ask you, what would a visit to Wine Country be without a stop at an adult pleasure store? By the time we got there I have to admit, we were in the tank. No pun intended. Despite the heat, and my reluctance to share (ehemm) private information, we laughed most all the way through our visit. What about this? What about that? Okay, honey. Go ahead and throw it in the goody bag. OH GOODY!! The staff was very nice all and all. read more

The owner was very rude and made me and my wife uncomfortable and the other couple that was in there walked out we needed what we bought so we bought it. It broke a month later and he would no do nothing about it. He would make comments like I know what you tow are going to do and stuff like that . Inappropriate ones. So if you can go somewhere else i would and it would be cheaper to. read more

My Wife and I stopped in here while we were strolling through downtown Napa. The place is ok, fairly clean, the prices are average and their selection wasn't too bad either. But the owner (bald guy) was on a personal call behind the counter the entire time we were in there and he had it on speaker phone; which we found odd. He was talking to one of his male buddies about some "bitch" who was "damaged goods" because she's on divorce #2 and already has 2 kids! We didn't buy anything and left shaking our heads at the owner's total lack of class. I can't imagine many women feeling comfortable shopping for intimate items here when a creepy old man is talking crap about women loudly on speaker phone with one of his pig buddies! read more

At first glance, this seems like an average adult boutique- you walk in and it doesn't seem like they will have much. However, after shopping around, I realized that the quality and assortment of their goods is very tasteful. I walked out spending over fifty bucks. I bought Pjur lube (they have sizes ranging from a little travel size to about a half-gallon), some cucumber-melon massage oil that smells like candy heaven, a couple candles, and a pair of panties. They have a decently sized porn and toy section, which I wasn't in the market for today but it was well-stocked. This was actually the only store I spent money at in pretentious Napa. Oh and they accept American Express read more

This is a great "adult" store! I think the fact that it is kind of small is its only downfall, but hey it is Napa, super conservative people run this city, so it is limited to trying to be super impressive. The people who work there are very knowledgeable and super helpful, I have gone in there to browse or to buy bachelorette party gifts and instead of feeling awkward and out of place they make every effort to make the buyer feel safe and comfortable. Though it is small it does have a great selection and the prices are not ridiculous. read more

going into this store was by far the worst experience i've had in my life. there is a brunette girl named Beth, who gave me such disrespectful attitude as soon as i walked in, and i've never been spoke to in such a manner before. i asked questions about the store policy and she replied "it's not my job to tell you". i was baffled by her audacity and tone. she made me out to be stupid and gave me dirty looks up and down, i felt so uncomfortable. i will never be giving this store any business, i'm shocked that a person like her is allowed to work in a retail store and get away with treating customers in such a manner. she deserves to be fired immediately. I even tried speaking to the store manager about my experience, and he completely defended the worker and mentioned that she had already told him about me and they even named the car that I was driving. I was parked in a parking lot across the street so they had to have been watching me. I'm beyond weirded out by this whole situation. read more

PROS: The store is clean and well organized with a pretty good selection. Also great location in down town napa, and one of the few remaining locally owned shops here. CONS: The store is a bit overpriced and the owner can be pretty rude. They also watch you like a hawk, which can be intimidating. I'm one of those shoppers that likes to be left alone, especially at a shop like this. Over all, a fun place to check out and kudos to napa for having this kind of store! read more
