I come yearly from the Twin Cities. I stay at the Radisson hotel on the river. I get a Riverside room and I watch the fireworks from my room. The Rotary Light is located at Riverside Park. You can drive thru, walk through or take a horse carriage for $25 +tip. They have many photo opportunity spots, they have a warming house, multiple fire pits, an ice skating rink. I have also seen Santa & Reindeer there. This event goes on from Thanksgiving until NYE at 1 am. This is a great winter activity.

Yes the items are donated much like Goodwill, but they are clean and not over priced. Workers are helpful and Jeff the manager is usually found up front of store and is actively greeting guests and helping you reach or find products. No cards are excepted for payment, but that is okay because they have a NO FEE ATM. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

The education was top notch and enjoyable. There's plenty of nightlife on 3rd street (if you're into that). Midnight donut runs to Mr. D's are a tradition. If you want, you can take a road trip over a weekend to the Mall of America for some shopping or to Madison for some some great parties. I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for a good public university in Wisconsin.

Beautiful campus with tons of green space and gorgeous buildings and facilities makes UWL extremely inviting and livable, especially when compared to other UW campuses. Top notch academic programs and wonderful professors. I guess UWL has some good sports programs as well, but I went to school for school, not the sports. UWL is a wonderful option for higher education, located in a gorgeous, fun city. Although you generally have to wait a bit to enjoy 3rd Street. :) Yep, I still love my alma mater!

We ate 4 pieces and brought the rest home to put outside for a local possum to possibly enjoy. At an hour you should have just thrown it out and remade it. I am ok with bad pizza... I am not ok with bad and burnt pizza.
