The Staff at Pleasure Point Marina was professional, personable and a complete different experience than when we were talking with Pine Knot Marina, inquiring about rentals. We rented the pontoon with WiFi and that was fun to have music for our time on the lake. Worth the money for this pontoon. There were 9 of us and we had plenty of space to walk around, sit and visit and take in the beauty of Big Bear from the water. I highly recommend Pleasure Point Marina. The absolute best!

First time exploring Big Bear & this boat experience, service was spectacular! Staff was great, shout out to Kenuj for amazing service. Boat was excellent, had a good time exploring the lake

Best ride ever!

We rented a pontoon boat for an hour (ended up around ~$118 total) and we had a grand time! We brought our pup and it was so much fun going around the serene and beautiful lake. Definitely a good family friendly and still naturey thing that isn't snow related!

First time here. We rented a small pontoon boat. Service was friendly, accommodating and efficient! Staff made sure we were completely prepared for our rental period. The boat was in excellent condition and clean. The Bluetooth music worked really well and the speaker got nice and loud while underway. No problems with the engine or the boat.

The bikes they brought out were the perfect size for each person in our group and they provided helmets. It was about $16/hour for the bike rental. Upon arrival we were helped immediately. From arrival, to waiver signature, and getting on bikes took about 10 minutes. You will need an ID as they hold it until you return with payment. The location is on the north shore and it is easy to find. There was plenty of parking and it's right next to an RV Park with a little liquor store in case you forgot anything. If you didn't bring a drink, pick one up as I did not see any water fountains or bottle fillers on the bike path. The paved bike path is right across the road and it is easy enough. There are some hills, not bad, but not completely flat. You can always walk the bike up if needed. You can ride all the way down the north shore which is mostly undeveloped and absolutely beautiful. We packed a backpack with sandwiches and stopped along the way at picnic tables to eat lunch. Keep in mind for you, your kids, and pets, that it's a little harder to exercise/breathe at high altitudes. There are a few benches to stop and rest as well as a few paths down to the lake. The trail is shared with other bikers, walkers, runners, and a few folks walking dogs. Everyone we encountered was respectful. I knocked one star down because I thought $100+ for one adult and two kid bike rentals for less than 2 hours was a little steep. However, we loved our time on the bike path. The exercise was great and the north shore is beautiful. The trees and lake took our breath away. We will return soon.

It's a little stretch of beach with a park area right about it. There is a parking lot but it's pretty small for the crowd it brings. Also, it's next door to vacation rentals I believe as well as homes that are literally around it along the waterfront. So let's put it out. It's basically a small little spot that does get busy and crowded depending on time. Parking can be very limited as it's not a big lot. Not sure if you can park along the street but who knows. It is well maintained with the manicured grassy area and planted garden. You also have access to the wharf with the dock area. Nothing major but a nice little walk down to the water. The view is quite beautiful. Pets are allowed which is nice but be smart and clean after them. Down to the side is the beach area. It too isn't that big of a stretch but is pretty much a bay. Of course there's the boulder which I'm sure where the name comes from. Just be cautious if you're going to climb them. Water along the dock is somewhat green with the seaweed growing and algae. But it's somewhat clear where the beach area is. Enter at your own risk but the place does get a lot of people. A nice little spot for lounging or even a nice little picnic. They do have seats scattered along the small strip where you can enjoy the view. Some picnic tables are also available. Restroom is next to the parking but it's only one stall per room. I'm not sure how long you would want to spend here but if you have family's and kids, a good amount frolicking the water and boulder might be good.
