Very nice marina! We've had our boat there since 1992. Plenty of parking and close to highway and…read morestores / restaurants for going out to eat or having food delivered to your boat. They offer Bathrooms with showers and ice is sold at the marina. There are no pools but for us that is ok. The owner John Dickerson is a nice person who is always fair. My only complaint might be that the parking area is covered in shells and it tends to be a bit dusty and you track the shells into your car.

It set the tone for what ended up being a very uncomfortable meal. The organization of the brunch was extremely poor. All tables were seated and then released at the same time, which created complete chaos. There was no direction, no clear flow, and no communication. Two lines formed for the buffet, but there wasn't nearly enough space to accommodate everyone. At the carving station, both lines collided and people had to awkwardly cross over each other just to access different items. The food itself was also underwhelming. Several of the vegetables were undercooked, and overall the quality did not meet expectations for a holiday brunch. To add to the frustration, I asked for milk for my mom's coffee (she can't have cream), and after about 10 minutes, we were told there was no milk anywhere in the building. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience--especially for a special occasion like Easter. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

We bought our first boat off a guy who had a slip with Fairwinds and because of a previous beef with the previous owner of the boat the guy said he had no slips which was a lie !!!! Now he wants to demand 200$ cause the guy we bought the trailer off dropped it off in the wrong spot . mind you it hasn't even been a day. i understand if it was there for weeks or days but it hasn't even been a day and it definitely wasn't placed on this assholes lot on purpose. He blocked the trailer in with his truck and is demanding money. what a shitbag. I like to grab a coffee, stroll the shops of Main Street then take a walk past here before heading to my car. BGB is conveniently located a few miles off Rt. 95, and there is plenty of parking (although they did enforce parking rules this year, and you need to get by the security guard at the gate). I also love how condensed the facilities are, and they are some great facilities. First, there is Chelo's Waterfront right there, complete with live music out back in the summer. Second, there is a pool and full bathhouse right next to the docks. The bathrooms are always immaculate, and there's showers should you need to rinse off the salty air before grabbing a beer and burger at Chelo's. The staff is friendly, as are your fellow boaters relaxing around the marina. I'm not sure of the rates, but I would recommend BGB, and I would dock my boat here if I had one.
