It could have been a disastrous day for me. I have never come so close to losing my boat. I was…read morepulling up to the church when I got a call from the Boat yard, saying that your boat has taken out a lot of water. I quickly rushed home changed headed out and got to the marina. in my rush, I forgot my wallet and my phone. When I got to the boat, my heart sank, and I freaked out as water had come over the transom, and it was only the ropes holding the boat up. I tried tightening the ropes, pulling as strong as I could, and my heart start to beat my chest the way it hasn't since I played high school hockey in There was nothing else I could do to pull the boat up and about almost a foot below the dock which I've never seen before it's usually above the dock when it's floating. I decided very, very foolishly to get in the water to see what I could do to push up in someway a very idiotic and senseless move. Once the water was almost to my neck, I realized there was no real way of getting out, unless I went to the swim platform, which I was afraid to do as the boat with sinking further. I don't think the 240 pounds would be good on the back of the boat already. Miraculously did make it up, just by grabbing onto a chair on the dock and getting my right leg up and eventually after catching my breath, pulling my other leg up and eventually getting up and out. I went home, hoping that my boat wouldn't completely sink or pull down the dock. I made four phone calls. First one was .Tommy Hardiman one of my best buddies and fellow heart transplant survivor?. He got the ball rolling and put me in touch with JR who said he would head down to the boat , My next call was to EB boat and motor (401) 739-4040 3634 Westshore Rd. , Warwick RI. Ian headed down there and arrive shortly after I did with one of his workers and he went to work. Ian was completely focused. He had a plan. He had the tools he needed. He was able to pull that boat up where the transom was practically even his guy Greg stood on the bow, and he started b ilging that thing. Within an hour with the help of some bailing and a second pump, most of the water was out and Ian got the motor started salvaged. Ian drove my boat back onto my trailer, and my boat is safely at home. I will be taking my boat in next week to get three motor service for my tech 90 as well as some fixes, making sure the bilge pump never fails and a few other things, and I have to tell you that I highly recommend EB boat and motor. I trusted Marine mechanic of choice. What an incredible job and I called back and left a message with Lucinda and told her if it was possible, I would give them a 12 star rating. Major disaster averted. Thank you to JR , Tommy Ian and EB marine LLC boat and motor.

Unfortunately the shock of the hit not only bent my S/S prop but severed the drive shaft at the spline connecting the powerhead. I was in a difficult position as this was the start of a seven day charter. While waiting for Sea Tow, I was consulting with Jamie Shriner and Master Mechanic Charlie. Within a few minutes, the replacement parts had been ordered and rushed via overnite air freight. I transported my rig to Mill Creek where Charlie was prepared for my arrival and immediately dropped the lower unit. The powerhead was also removed in order to recover the severed spline. The parts arrived and the engine was quickly repaired and returned to service, after Jamie personally scrubbed the boat clean. My repair bill was very fair, the turn around time extraordinary and I was back on my charter with minimal interruption. Charlie is a superb Mechanic and technical expert. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge. Jamie and Jim Shiner are very professional, competent and honest to fault. They understood my situation and were very proactive and helpful. Both these gentlemen know the process of boat yard and business logistics and are nimble, flexible and proactive. I have had many experiences at Mill Creek Marine. I have been asked by the Shriners to delay my work order to accommodate an emergency situation by a customer with a more urgent need. I have gladly done so in the past and have been the needy customer in his case. Thank you to Mill Creek Marine, Charlie, Melinda, Jamie, Jim and yard staff. I have a rinker 320 twin merCruiser 5.0 mpi Low hours 1st…read moreof all I payed for inside Storage The 1st week Of December I made a unannounced Appearance to the Marina Too see my boat outside and uncovered with snow on top They came up with a story that they just pulled it out of the storage for the day but it hadn't snow for3 days and there was snow on it Second of all at the end of the Storage season The boat was ready to go back in the water the day I arrived my boat was in the water with oily foot prints all over the carpeting In my Isinglass on the deck floor in a big pile with mold on it I went to the office complained about the mess they told me that they would clean it up so I had to came back the next day when I Arrive the next morning they told me that they took the boat out for a sea trial but why didn't they do that the day before the mechanic said the port engine was not working correctly that they will have to do some work on The valves that I would have to come back in A couple of days So came back to get the boat Ran the boat up to East Greenwich made it halfway had to turn around and go back on One engine The mechanic looked at it said I need a new head so they end up taking the head off and getting refurbished 2000 dollars later It was time to pick up the boat heading back up to East Greenwich same thing was happening the engine kept popping So I made it to MyDock in East Greenwich with one engine I had a friend of mine that's a mechanic Came down and look at the engine Told me the only thing that's wrong with the engine is there's water in the gas tank he said they didn't have to change the head I called A company to come down and clean the fuel tanks engines been working great ever since can't Believe that the mechanic at Millcreek would not check the fuel tanks for water I would not recommend anybody to go to that Marina not even my enemy

There was no handover of the vessel... we were left on our own to learn the systems with no support from the broker.
