He was nice, laughed about how I look so young for 26. We got in and were surprised about how, weird it was set up. They have lines and a counter. There's no product or physical stock anywhere and it's very sterile as an environment. I imagine that's due to Canadian federal guidelines, but with something less harmful than alcohol, it's a bit hypocritical considering the LCBO and Beer Store. We were greeted by a guy, not sure if he was the owner or greeter who happened to know absolutely everything about cannabis, the products and the staff. He was really nice and knowledgeable. Didn't make us feel bad about being newbies in the cannabis realm. Once we found out what we wanted, we got into a line and were finally served. The cashier/server, known as the 'Budtender' was so rude. Complete 180 from the greeter/owner. She even said she was trying to get through it as fast as possible and wasn't happy to answer any of our questions. No smiles, no friendliness, nothing. As a former cashier, I get bad days, but there was no reason for her to act like this. So it would be 5 stars if the end of our experience wasn't dampened by the 'budtender'.

In a snotty voice he says I don't anything about that so your just going to have to pay it. So which I reply cancel it then. Notice at 10pm there's a charge on my account for $162. My Bro cancelled his as well and they didn't charge him. Phoned them this am and asked them why my card was charged after cancelling. The guy threatened to phone the police on ME because I was swearing. Says it will take 3-4 business days to refund my money. Said well give me what you charged me for and he replied it would take 3 days to process it. My bank cancelled my card because I reported it as an unauthorized charge. Now I have to go get get a new card. Even Meth dealers aren't as dishonest as these clowns.

I have been a few times and absolutely dread going back, so I am going to try a different unaffiliated clinic. Mistakes and discrepancies occurred, which wouldn't have been so bad if the follow-up help hadn't been entirely inadequate. The lack of continuity and follow-up support resulted in me having to go back for 2 further lo-o-o-ng appointments. The communication between the different facets of the clinic is poor. Here's a specific example of one of the issues I faced: There was a discrepancy between what the counsellor recommended and what the doctor prescribed. It would be most helpful if I could speak to the counsellor directly to verify, but there doesn't appear to be any mechanism in place for that. I have already tried contacting her by email (as she suggested at my appointment) but I haven't heard back. This seems to be a common pattern and is not the first time I have experienced it in this setting. There appears to be a daunting lack of communication/follow-up/continuity of care/assistance in a process that is confusing to begin with for many. My next scheduled appointment was almost a year away, but now through no fault of my own, I have to book another appointment. The appointments are extremely difficult for me to attend and can involve hours of waiting. This issue could most likely have been resolved by a phone call. I am finding this entire process arduous, taxing and discouraging. These types of roadblocks can be overwhelming for someone with poor health/low functioning to begin with. ________________________________________ On the positive side, as a result of my visits, I was able to obtain some (not necessarily the most appropriate) medical cannabis from licensed producers.

Held my script hostage so I left that circus of pain and confusion. Everyone is a pro on a thousand year old herb looking for profits now. Between this and Tweed, I see nothing here for the sick that partied back in the 70s learning the pains of strains. Education is key and not this sardine can hiding the thousand year old herb at Harper's Drugmart.
