    ** Be Warned**…read more This cellular telecommunications company is advertised, and supposed to be the best Cellular, and Data Telecommunications service & company throughout the Philippines. Well folks, it's 1000 percent NOT, and I'm glad I was able to add this immense Piece Of Shit business to Yelp‼ I added to Yelp with my personal review in an effort to SCREAM Loudly to fellow travelers, and perspective local customers that require cell & data here in the Philippines. I went to my local mall here located in the AYALA Center Cebu to purchase cell service and a data package. The lady who waiting on me initially was very kind and able to configure my iPhone 14 Pro Max and test it with no problems. The very next day after making three successful local telephone calls utilizing smart Cellular services my calls and data came to an abrupt end. Well, after performing all the basic troubleshooting cell phone bullshit myself, I immediately contacted the most useless Smart telecommunications customer service representative. This brainless idiot wasn't able to help me even in the slightest.‼ I was simply informed, or shall I say, ignored, and brushed off on my first call for help. it got much worse when the not so Smart telecommunications support staff informed that it would be 120 hours before a technician person from Smart to troubleshoot my problem‼‼ WTF are these representatives of Smart Telecommunications Inc. even thinking telling existing customers that it's going to take them 120 hours to fix the problem? My second call back to Smart Telecommunications Inc. Support-Less Staff was just as fruitless as my first, even me asking to speak to a Supervisor, which they resisted to do when I asked to speak to one At this point of my experience, I negan looking for a sharp objects that could potentially be used to jab the jackass on the other side of the line directly in the eyeballs and esophagus repeatedly ‼‼ Like multiple times, and that's no exaggeration‼‼ Every Smart Representative that I contacted was completely useless in all capacities trying to expedite and solve my problem. I I know for a fact me being a recently early retired Senior Network Engineer who worked for the United States Government, that my iPhone pro Max 14 was, and is still today, was perfectly fine. I am completely confident that my iPhone was not experiencing any technical problems at all, it was definitely the TERRIBLE SMART TELECOMMUNICATIONS Inc. POS products, and SHITTY Services that was causing this to be a humongous pain in my ass‼ How do I know this, because I was using my iPhone to dial *888, which happens to be the NOT SO SMART direct dial option to contact their completely useless support idiots just fine‼ My very first three calls that I was able to use and dial successfully to three local number hee in Cebu Lapu Lapu, worked perfectly fine. Throughout my ordeal, or should I say nightmare, and being a solo International traveler, this company NEVER ONCE CONTACTED ME TO FIX THEIR PROBLEM, NOT ONCE‼ After day three of trying to solve this ridiculous problem, and after having spent many hours of my valuable time & money with this ginormous PIECE OF SHIT COMPANY, I simply gave up, and looked for a new cell service provider, DITTO TELCOM, and it is working PERFECTLY‼ So do yourselves a tremendous favor, and DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH Smart Telecommunications In‼ Id you decide to try SMART TELECOMMUNICATIONS INC. SHIT PRODUCTS, I promise you, you will be in just as much hell as I experienced‼ The entire experience Will make you feel like feel like hunting down the Smart corporate headquarters, and doing something significantly evil to it, that would potentially allow to watch the flames glow at night‼ (Joking of course) not....     Globe locations are always so busy and sometimes, I think, they just hang out here for the free…read morewifi and their seats! Almost the same set up as Apple Mac stores. You tell the attendant the reason for needing service and your name, you will be on the list. If you have a senior with a registered card, you can be on top of the list! I thought that is pretty cool but I guess, they want to service them quickly to get them out of there since they are old. People can take advantage of that as I would!! Haha You have to look for your name to be called on the service screen or go close to the back close to the back counter to be called. I see they have a Pay station for ones that need to pay their Globe bills. They sell other things like shirts and phone accessories. Service was pretty fast. What I would watch out for is what they sell. Tell them you only want certain service and not try to sell you more. I have an unlocked phone and they sell a 15 day unlimited texting and data for 500 php. That is all I need to keep me online. We also have a portable mobile pocket wifi hotspot and we used the same data plan as my phone even if no need for texting. If you want data only it's more expensive. Kinda weird but they gave in to my needs. Service was good though. I will be back to Globe when I am in this country. I like it better than the competition. ;-) [62/100]

When we first called they said they were just upgrading the system and everything would be okay. After 3 days, we called to get someone from Globe to check our service. 2 days later someone came and they told us something was wrong - BUT NOTHING WAS FIXED BY THEM. They said they would come back. They called but did not schedule to return. They are now saying we should upgrade our service. We have 100 MBPS and it is more than we need - we just need it to work. This has been a terrible ordeal and has affected our work since we are working from home during Covid. It has also affected the kids school work. Globe - You need better service, and better people. You need to respond and actually make sure concerns are addressed in a timely manner. Very incompetent and absolutely no compassion for your customers. especially in this time of Covid. I have had Glove mobile and I can say the service is just as bad. I am glad your days of being one of the few players providing this service is numbered. Globe needs competition to step up to the plate and serve Filipinos better. As it is we overpay for your mediocre/substandard service. You should, at the very least, give people what they pay for and respond to fix issues as they arise. UPDATE: After numerous efforts to get this fixed, we found the most idiotic solution to the problem. I applied for globe residencial service of only 35 MBPS which worked instantly when connected and cancelled the above 100 MBPS service they could not and would not fix. Right now we are paying less and for the last two weeks it is working. No kudos/thanks to Globe since they never fixed the original issue. Also, don't ever try using the Facebook chat of Globe, one of the worst AIs/chat bots I've ever encountered. It won't solve anything for you. This company gets multiple grades of F/fail on so many levels.
