I live in the south view apartment in warren Ohio , I have so many issues with my apartment , I did…read morenot have heat the whole month of September and October that is 61 days with out HEAT and half of this month so it's more then 61 days , I had to pay rent I know it's against the law to pay rent when no heat after I searched it online , I asked for my money back the landlord said "I'm not giving shit back to you " that was HIS WORDS , I have roaches everywhere including the fridge the stove my room my couch I'm a clean person but I these roaches are getting soo bad I told them about it and they do not do NOTHING landlord will say I'm coming on this day to fix the issue it never shows up , their is no light in. The bathroom also I told them come fix it they were suppose to come fix my kitchen sink no show up it's been 3 weeks NOW this is NOt right , the landlord is a peace of shit ,, they will not do anything for you . I have all pictures of the roaches that are everywhere I'm going to the health department with this issue and the issue with paying rent with NO HEAT !

These are more of Town Home like apartments with a garage. They do have lower end buildings but you pay for what you get, that is what you have to keep in mind. I do believe they accept pets as I have seen many people walking them around the area, but I have no for sure evidence of this. I do only know of one person that has lived here, and they have always lived in a more upper class community, so they acted like it was an alright area to live. I do believe there is a gym and many other features, and they DO have everything listed on their site, and as far as I am concerned, everything they state is legit. If someone has a more in depth review to post on these apartments, please feel free to correct me, however as far as I have seen, there is nothing really wrong with this community.

And even that won't calm my fury). -carpet flooring needs replaced with hard floors (and I don't mean shitty stickers that wear and shift over 2 years) -Old stoves from 70's and 80's need replaced -broken microwaves need replaced when they broke years ago -washers and dryers that don't damage clothes and cost more than the laundromat -insulation needs replaced, upgraded heating system (we are freezing if the Temps go below 0). Seriously, this isn't some ghetto-ass neighborhood we live in. We pay more than enough to have meaningful and NEEDED things upgraded and/or replaced and/or fixed permanently. Not some renovation in the hallway. Be glad we didn't sue when my husband fell down YOUR stairs, breaking his back, because the "grip" on the stairs were rubbed smooth from probably decades of use (the ONLY thing good from this renovation). If it wasn't for that, our rent wouldn't be late all the time and we would have been in a house by now. But no. He broke his back and was let go because of it so he had to get a job where he makes less than HALF of what he did. You owe us actual relevant renovations. Just do the stairs, not repaint the walls and put up new trim. That wasn't necessary.

I am being evicted due to a second infestation of bed bugs. I was told it was my fault, and they…read moremade me pay for the exterminator ($600) when I have never heard of a tenant paying for that. The January 2021 treatment was successful but the bed bugs came back by the end of summer. I was told that if I reported them again I would be evicted. So, I made arrangements myself to get treated. Management found out and made me use their exterminator and they are now evicting me. The manager of this building gives off the most negative energy I have ever known and I am 67 years old. I have caught him in several outright lies. He doesn't like me and the feeling is mutual. I will fight this eviction because it seems to me I am targeted by this manager who nobody in the building likes.

They act nice when you want to rent from there, the place looks nice, and they said they remodeled…read more When you move in, at first it's nice, but then you see what they cover up. They didn't really remodel. More like put a shell over everything. Our bathtub chipped all the time. Had them repaint it once, but it still did the same thing. The sink would always break, or unscrew and leak/downpour in the cabinets below the sink. We just had our first child. We were living in a one bedroom. We thought it would be fine, since she's so small. We defintaly needed two bedrooms. We sked if we could switch since we literally just resigned the lease. They asked around, said it would be fine. They only have a few, and one will be leaving. We would have to wait till then. We called back, and then they said that soneone had to check out the room, and they would call us back. No one did. So we called them back. They said no one has looked at it yet because the guy is on vacation. So we call back again, and then they told us we can't because we signed the lease for the one bedroom. So we said F it, and we left. Which they were so rude about us leaving. We were nice about it, we didn't even yell/argue about the two bedroom. We went to drop off the keys, and the receptionist didn't know we were leaving, and said that we had to put a month's notice in, which we did. She talked to main lady there, which she said that she knew, and they know they have to pay us. Didn't look at us, just said it while she walked by, and went into her office. Said it in a rude tone too. Don't rent from them.

Living at The Woods of Liberty has been one of the worst housing experiences I've ever had. I've had wasps literally coming into the bathroom from inside the walls, which is not just annoying, it's a real safety and health concern. There is visible mold, recurring leaks, and a constant feeling that the place is damp, dirty, and poorly maintained no matter how much you clean. What makes it even worse is the way management and the organization operate. Problems get brushed off, "fixed" halfway, or dragged out forever, and you're left living with the consequences. They are quick to take your rent but unbelievably slow to take responsibility for basic habitability and repairs. The way things are handled feels even dirtier than the mold and the leaks in the walls. If you're considering moving here, think very carefully before signing anything. Between the insects coming through the walls, the mold, the leaks, and the dismissive management, this place is not worth the money or the stress.

In the summer, the place gets so warm that the temperature constantly goes to 90 degrees or higher if you don't leave the A/C on full time. There are multiple leaks in the ceiling that maintenance never really fixes. They just say they're going to when you talk to them. My electricity was out for an extended period of time since Ohio Edison took my meter! The apartment complex claimed not to know about it but it seems very fishy that an electric company can just take your meter and stop service for no reason. After I finally got the electricity back after like 18 days (during which I had to move out temporarily), I just asked the property manager to lower my rent for that month. She refused and said that it wasn't the apartment complex's fault at all so her hands were tied. She even did a random inspection on my apartment during a weekday and interrupted a very important work meeting I was in for no clear reason. She told me that she informed me about it but I didn't receive any email or text correspondence from her. Overall, I'm very disatisfied with the way I've been treated like I don't matter as a tenant. I'm just hoping that when I move out, I'll get my security deposit back due to the multiple leaks that have occurred (not my fault but afraid apartment will try to pin it on me anyways). Advising a strict word of caution to anybody who wants to rent here! Be careful. The apartment leasing staff is only nice until you move in, and then they don't care about you. Update: After multiple complaints, the maintenance department did address my leakage issue but still did not fix all the leaks despite assurances that they would do so. The landlord did talk to me about this and said that she would try to do everything she could and improve her communication with me, yet I was still left in the same boat wondering what was happening with my apartment (there were no further texts/emails from her).

The home we rented was all nicely redone. 2bdrm up and 2 bdrm down. We couldn't use the upstairs…read morerooms however because they were freezing in the winter and too warm in summer. The basement leaked like crazy so we used it for laundry only. As for the interactions with equity management, they were always quite good about getting stuff done. No problems there but we paid a lot for a 4 bdrm and really only had a 2 bdrm.
