Why someone who book an Italian restaurant in a Spanish town is beyond me :-) the place was nice and the service was great but the food was ok. We had platters of food arrive and so I cannot comment on the menu. We had quite a few dishes but every single dish had cheese in it. I could not eat another course with cheese in it. We started off with a Burratta which is a super fresh cheese and that was really nice. Then came the cheese wrapped in pancetta, buffalo mozzarella with Parma ham, two pasta course with cheese sauce and then tiramisu. The pasta dishes were very nice but I have never had spaghetti vongole with a cheese and pesto sauce and it was ordinary :-) Service was good and the value for money was a bit low here for me. Malaga has some amazing restaurants and they are also very reasonable but this one wasn't. I may come back here again if I run out of options in town :-)

It was A LOT of food for one person so I definitely recommend sharing with others. I'd rate the food 8.3/10 and there was multiple types of fish/seafood with varying texture and flavour/taste - Anchovies: 8.8/10: Fresh and nicely fried - Chanqetes: 7.5/10: Little white/silver fish, interesting texture as the fish were so small (strings of protein) - Calamares: 8.3/10: Decently fried - Rosada en adobo: 9/10: Nice chunks of fish (Cod?) that were nicely battered and fried. - Acedias: 8.5/10: More delicate fish, good combo with the rest, i.e. cod - Pescadilla: 9.3: Good flavour, nicely battered and fried, felt like a great value - Squid tentacles: 8.3/10: A bit dry but interesting to try

Reservation is a must. Waiters are pleasant and do speak English. We ordered the paella for two, fish/ sea food, and I must say it was delicious. I'd been planning to hit this place all week, and finally was able to make it. I'd been wanting to try their authentic fire cooked Espetos de Sardina, sardine skewers, and my last night in Málaga, a Monday, was going to be it. Unfortunately, Mondays they don't do any of the skewers. Turns out they have one guy who specializes in this sort of Malagan cuisine, and he has Mondays off. So, no sardine skewers for me. I was major disappointed. I did get some fried sardines and a some other dishes, along with a really good sangria. Still, I couldn't help but think about what I really wanted. Wait staff was nice and attentive. They switched to English when they heard my accent, but were fine switching back to Spanish when I kept at it. That was nice too. Cost on the higher side, but not outrageous. 3 plates and 2 sangrias set me back €35. Way more did than I could possibly consume. 2 plates would've been sufficient for 1 person.
