The Italian dark hot chocolate with ginger was the best I've ever had. The tuna focaccia was amazing and enough to share if you want a lighter bite. Was on empty and needed to eat REAL food after a 6 hour train ride. Healthy options, specials and great smoothies sold me. Followed my delicious salad with an iced coffee and I was revived! Then a week later, staying at an airport hotel, we came here and even though the kitchen closes at 3 pm, and it was 3:20 pm (sigh) the owner said we could order whatever we wanted. I nearly cried. He must have sensed the hangries coming on, big time. I had the vegetarian club (€10) and my bf had a pastrami club (€11). While I usually go with whole wheat bread, the white bread was just great. Both of us had a smoothie, pure fruit and veggies, nothing more. And we had to follow it up with a coffee! The bakery case was tempting with cookies, pastries and cakes. Really appreciate the owner's kindness and really enjoyed this charming cafe.

It's so cute. Old, quaint & iconically Italian. I ordered the iconic Bicerin--espresso, rich chocolate, and fresh cream layered in a small glass--and the first sip was pure deliciousness Warm, indulgent, and perfectly balanced. Paired with complimentary simple traditional biscuits, it was perfection. I loved it, not my waist though. Service is calm and understated, letting the history and quality speak for themselves.
