Chocolate shavings, candied orange dipped in chocolate, and some Matterhorn truffles
    Alison K.

Stopped in to pick up some sweets while visiting Zermatt for the day. I got some Matterhorn shaped chocolates, chocolate dipped candied oranges, and a bag of shaved chocolate they said was for hot chocolate. Very expensive, but nice to try it. The chocolate doesn't dissolve that well in hot chocolate and it was hard to tell what some of the Matterhorn chocolate flavors were once I got them home.

We had walked around a lot of the village and needed a quick break for a sweet treat and some coffee. We sat at one of the two tables on the patio and had wonderful service. The desserts were delightful and the coffee was perfect. This is a great location either inside or outside to sit and people watch and enjoy the ambience.

Probably the best sandwich we had while in Switzerland! The lemonade would have been nice with ice, but tasty nonetheless. Hot chocolate never disappoints. Appreciated the water station as well.

Such a cute, quaint and cozy cafe on the main drag of zermatt. I believe it's family owned, and very smells and looks delicious. There's an extensive drinks list. For breakfast we had the berry crumble and their quiche. So delicious!

Loved this coffee shop! Amazing coffee - got a flat white and a mocha (the homemade chocolate in the mocha was divine). They also have some food items and a few chocolate boxes for sale inside. It's small inside but there's seating upstairs as well and a bathroom downstairs. Sat here for hours just enjoying our coffee and conversation and not once did they pressure us to leave. Highly recommend!

I really wish we had tried this cafe earlier in our trip so we had more opportunities to come back. Everything we had was so delicious! This is the ONLY cafe in town that makes their own hot chocolate, and you can absolutely taste the difference. Their other cafe drinks are good too. The pastries are really good, served warm, and not too sweet. Even something as simple as pumpkin soup tasted uniquely delicious. The cafe's upstairs area is super cozy with windows to peer down into the street and a faux fireplace. The ladies who work here are also super pleasant. Recommend coming as many times as possible, I certainly regret not doing so!

Beautiful ambiance, great croissants and we loved our chai and matcha. They have alternatives like soy and oat milk too.

Great coffee with kind staff! This was my first time in Zermatt and this will hands down be my go to coffee shop from this point forward! The cafe is cute and cozy with several seating options: outside, inside, and upstairs. Highly recommend to anyone looking for coffee. They had a variety of pastries that I hope to try soon!

MUST go while in Zermatt. OMG after the first sip of hot chocolate I wanted them to take all my money. When ppl say it's the best hot chocolate they've ever had in their life, they're not exaggerating. I think the waitress hated us though. Admittedly, one time we forgot to pay because you have to pay on your way out after dining in, and we thought we paid in the begging. They were nice about it the next time we went and we apologized and paid for it. I don't care if they hate me though, the drinks are so good I will endure any type of customer service.

This place is absolutely amazing! Great decoration, second to none coffee and pastries! Can't get any better than having coffee on a early Zermatt morning!

Awesome coffee, hot chocolates and focaccia. One of the best in Zermatt, also make a flat white if you ask :-)

I had breakfast here twice. The first time I had:…read more Spinach Quiche - Excellent. I really love the flaky crust. The server warmed it for me and it was just great. Lots of buttery goodness. Cheese Quiche - Straightforward cheese and egg. Flaky crust. Got it warmed. Personal sized. Really good. Apple Strudel - Amazingly stuffed pastry with lots and lots of apple Among the best I've had ever. Coffee Americano "large" - The large is not what we would call a large in the US. It was good, but I think it would be better to get an espresso. the second time I got my breakfast: Bacon, egg, cheese quiche. Same buttery and flaky crust as before. I liked this even more than the spinach, which I really liked. It was big enough for my wife and I to share. Apricot tart - lots of fruit, cream on a flaky crust. Superb, but you need to eat it right away because the filling gets things soggy if you wait. Double Espresso - I think it was very good, but I swallowed it so fast it's hard to say. You know, morning. Service is prompt but in my case not what I'd call super friendly. Good enough, though. The big deal was being able to get an excellent breakfast for two for about 20 Swiss Franc vs. double that in the hotel or a regular restaurant. The shop has the option to dine in on the second floor and it also serves a variety of other pastries, breads and sandwiches. I've uploaded a lot of photos for you to check out.

Yelp Review 2026 #148:…read more I was excited to grab some chocolates from Fuchs especially the ones in the shape of Matterhorn so I can give them away to friends. I walked in and there was a line. I peeped the display case if there's anything else I can grab aside from chocolates. I was t really feeling the pastries and cookies so, I grabbed my chocolates and went back to my place in line. I got to the front of the line and the employee acted like she can't see me and skipped to the person behind me. So, I said "I'm just paying for the chocolates." Her response was very rude accusing me of cutting in line which I didn't do at all. So, I just loudly said "Fuch this place and left the chocolates on the counter and left. I was only getting chocolates from here for their novelty. Switzerland is never short of good chocolates.
