Right when you get to the 4th floor it is very easy to find your way to the test center, there are signage right by the elevators that will direct you to where you need to go! They provide lockers to place all your belongings and will provide scratch paper and pencils to use. Parking is expensive and is cash only!!! Keep in mind the building is called Pauahi tower and is surrounded by a lot of eateries!

While the location in downtown Honolulu is less than ideal to try and navigate, I definitely recommend locating the center beforehand. I stopped by and the women at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful, they will also call you the day before your exam with all this information as well. I mainly writing this review to help others in locating this testing center easier. The center will email directions to the parking structure on Alakea St. (see photos) I was fortunate enough got dropped off which I would recommend if you have longer test (the center does not offer parking validation). The center is located in the Pauahi building, upon entering take the escalator/stairs up to the main lobby level. Make sure you locate the correct set of elevators that will take you to floor 4, the elevators towards the back service the lower floors while they other set closest to the escalators services the upper floor levels, they are marked so just be sure to read the signage posted on the walls. Other than that it's not hard to find from there! As for the actual testing experience itself, I found the testing room pleasant and enjoyed the big windows that allowed natural light in, although some may find this distracting. However you can hear the occasional siren and sounds of the street traffic, outside below but they do offer earplugs and noise cancelling headphones which I found to do the trick. Bathrooms are located on the same floor just past the elevators and down the opposite hall, it is not far and they were very clean. The lockers use a traditional key lock and would fit a standard backpack if need be. Overall it was a good experience. Wishing everyone good luck on their future exams here!

Shouldn't we have security for our keiki instead of those who run our education system. Through the elevators are old, they still work better than the capitol. It's dependable and strong. The first floor has really good air conditioning but when you get to the top floor...it's warm. They spend thousands of dollars to paint the outside of the building and redesign the landscape but they can't even renovate the schools. Where are their priorities? When their air conditioner went out, they closed the building and sent everyone home. When our keiki are sitting in 100 degree classrooms, they aren't allowed to go home. Just don't understand our education system. Oh forgot to mention that they hired a new superintendent from Arizona who is under investigation in that education system. It gets better...she's also given housing and car allowance. I don't think our last superintendent got all that.

The senior year "crunch" is real--balancing a heavy load of AP classes, participating in cherished traditions like Senior Sunrise and the senior trip, and the demands of varsity sports is a lot for any student to handle. How Megan Made the Difference: * Strategic Direction: Megan kept him on target to meet the November 1st Early Action deadline for eight different schools and even helped him wrap up his Regular Decision applications well ahead of schedule. By January 1st, he had received the majority of his college accceptances. * Essay Excellence: Megan was instrumental in helping him develop his thoughts for both personal and supplemental essays. She helped him find his voice, ensuring his responses were authentic and impactful. * Scholarship Support: In addition to the applications, she provided invaluable support in providing feedback on his community scholarship essays. * Stress Management: Her patient nature and flexibility ensured my son never felt overwhelmed, despite the numerous deadlines and his busy schedule. She even recommended a few schools based on my daughter's interest. When we needed to pivot, she did so with grace. She was always pleasant to work with and understood the pressures of senior year and the college admissions process. I was surprised at how much she communicated with both myself and my daughter. She definitely put more time in than I expected. My daughter received admissions to every nursing school that she applied to in the mainland. She also received generous merit scholarships. We attribute this to Megan's help and couldn't be more grateful. If you decide to go w/ Megan, you will be in good hands. You will not regret it.
