Lindsay's actually connects through to Kates on the other side of the building, Kates was hosting a high school reunion while we were in town. Lindsay's is keeping it real, this is a cash bar, ATM available onsite, pool tables, live music featured, drink prices are affordable, and the service is prompt and friendly. Special note, pickle shots are available ;) as long as you don't get too fancy with your drink orders you will do just fine. If you want to stop in for a cold one, engage in some friendly exchange, and/or, catch up on local gossip, here is your best bet.

The original bar looks as it has for as long as I can remember with the old booths lining the wall opposite the bar and a full length bar lined with stools. Despite it's appearance that hasn't changed in years, it still manages to feel clean, bright and inviting. It is connected to Old Boys Pizza by a game room with two pool tables, shuffleboard and a juke box. They have live entertainment as well as a DJ on certain nights. They have a few domestics on Tap but mostly bottles with very reasonable prices. The staff is always very friendly and treat everyone like a regular. If you're in the area it is a must visit.

We shared appetizers and enjoyed the music. The waitstaff and barstaff were extremely friendly, as were the other patrons. We will be back during a time when they have live music, because I'm sure that is a lot of fun.

Spouse and I stopped in one night for the first time after we finished a murder mystery event…read morethinking we could get some late night bar food and a drink or two. We got seated at a tiny table right by the door which was very drafty. After getting menus, we were told they could only make us pizza (pepperoni or cheese) and maybe 1 or 2 types of finger foods. It was somewhere between 9-9:30pm so it seemed early in our opinion for the kitchen to be closed already on a Friday night, but nothing we could do to change it. If I recall the appetizer options were mozzarella sticks or toasted ravioli, but not 100% certain on that part cause it didn't appeal to us. We ordered the cheese pizza since I don't eat pork products. It was very thin with a cardboard like crust that was overly cooked on the edges (see pic with brunt crust), but the middle part was full of gooey cheese. The balance on the pizza was just off since it was overcooked on outer edges. We were starving and our options were slim so we ate it anyways. Lol The waitress offered us some complimentary popcorn from a machine in the back of the bar and then went over the speciality drink menu they had which was probably the best part of our entire experience. They do have some very eccentric libations to choose from. I chose the lavender martini (very tasty) and my spouse got a blackberry old fashioned which he also loved. The ambiance is just okay if singing karaoke completely off key with country folks is your thing. They do have some televisions for sports viewing, but this is not what I would call a "speak easy" or a sports bar. We love doing karaoke, but the vibe at this place just wasn't working for us. Overall, I would say the drink menu is what's keeping this place afloat unless people don't care about the food they eat or the company they surround themselves with. Would try again, but with a larger group of people ready to take over the karaoke scene in full force and during earlier hours so we can attempt to get some bar food too other than pizza. Also, we were coming from the murder mystery event so we were dressed up more than anyone else in the place and we felt like outsiders. This is definitely a Jean and T-shirt kind of establishment.

Is Bobby G's a dive bar disguised as a martini bar, or is it a martini bar disguised as dive bar…read more Either way you look at it, it is a true dive bar that serves up classy Martini's. I am a true martini man and I am embarrassed to admit, until yesterday I have never been. What is sad, is I have been to all the bars to either side and across street. You'd think with, martini is the name, I would have gone. It wasn't until it was recommended to me, that I asked others and continued to get rave reviews. I popped in early on a Friday and had a Dirty Martini lunch. It's a dive bar, so my martini was served in a plastic tumbler. Mine was in a larger plastic glass, because the bartender wanted to empty the shaker. I'm a snob and prefer a classic stem glass, but once I took my first sip, the glass did not matter. My martini was extra dirty and served with blue cheese olives. I had chatted with the bartender and she knew it was my first visit, so she treated me with regular olives as well. So it really was a martini lunch. If you're in Grafton, be sure to check out Bobby G's, don't wait as long as I did.

The Loading Dock was closed so we looked for something else nearby. We found Bobby G's and it was perfect! A very nice place inside with a unique "ICE CAVE" - a stone room used to store ice cut from the river! The bartender was very nice, the place decorated to make it warm and interesting, and the drinks cold! I'll be back here again sometime.
