I shouldn't KNOW about all of this, but I sat at the bar watching sports and she jabbered ALL NIGHT ABOUT IT to anyone who was there. I made the mistake of going back. Same bartender. Same result. I am a true martini man and I am embarrassed to admit, until yesterday I have never been. What is sad, is I have been to all the bars to either side and across street. You'd think with, martini is the name, I would have gone. It wasn't until it was recommended to me, that I asked others and continued to get rave reviews. I popped in early on a Friday and had a Dirty Martini lunch. It's a dive bar, so my martini was served in a plastic tumbler. Mine was in a larger plastic glass, because the bartender wanted to empty the shaker. I'm a snob and prefer a classic stem glass, but once I took my first sip, the glass did not matter. My martini was extra dirty and served with blue cheese olives. I had chatted with the bartender and she knew it was my first visit, so she treated me with regular olives as well.
