The sellers were kind enough to give us a copy of their original inspections and their company didn't even go into the attic, and made no mention of twisted, collapsing trusses that have been deteriorating for decades. Before receiving the written report, we had a phone call with the inspector while he was at the property. He explained deficiencies in an easy to understand way. My husband, who has a very good understanding of home maintenance, repairs, electrical issues, etc..., was impressed with both the breadth of knowledge and the willingness to take time to explain. Then we got the report which was in depth with not only information about findings, but also recommendations for how to resolve and prevent future issues. We were provided with names and contact numbers of repair people and pictures of products for issues we might want to resolve ourselves.
