Fun experience. Won't say much to avoid spoilers but it's quite fun. The zombie shooter was really immersive

Still pretty new place when I went. Construction was taking place. Tried a few different VR experiences. Graphics could be a lot better.

It's become one of our favorite things to do, and this visit was no exception! A huge shoutout to Natasha and Byan--they were absolutely amazing hosts. From the moment we walked in, they were welcoming, energetic, and set such a fun tone for the whole experience. They explained everything clearly, kept the excitement going, and made us feel totally immersed in the game. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do, and that energy really makes a difference. The room itself was a blast, but Natasha and Byan are what made this visit especially memorable. If you're thinking about trying Escapology, I highly recommend it--and if you get Natasha and Byan as your hosts, you're in for an even better time. We'll definitely be back again!

We ended up booking the room with hesitation and really should've just walked away. We did the 7 Deadly Sins room and it has an element that is "not hooked up" or aka broken. We finished the game with 22 minutes to spare because the game master did not let us struggle for long, before giving an extra detailed clue where it took the fun out of trying to figure out a puzzle. We've done 70+ escape rooms and this one by far in our bottom 10.

We booked online same day which was very easy plus they had a promo code on their website that was great to use too! Some of the other escape room companies we were looking at had a minimum of 3 person on weekends- so even if it was just two people, you had to pay for 3. I get it but naahh. Maze Rooms for the win. We did the World of Illusions room, which we were told was the hardest one. It was challenging just with the two of us but we had a blast!!! The game master was really nice and even took photos of us :) There is a tip jar for cash if you're feeling tipsy & free water for before or after your game. Plus there's an actual parking lot! Check them out!!

I've been to other Maze Rooms locations, and they have not disappointed! The game master here was friendly but busy. He was managing multiple rooms at the same time. I think World of Illusions may have been one of the top escape rooms I have done. The room was cool with cool puzzles. Some of the puzzles take time to work, so I recommend being patient. It's those types where if it's old, it lags. [Some people in my group repeated some actions in succession, which may have taken even more of our time.] I did cut my finger on the bike by accident though. World of Illusions had a level 3 difficulty. I thought pharaoh's tomb sounded interesting, but it was a level 2. I may consider trying that on a different visit.

From the moment you step into the Escape Hotel, you are immersed in its story. All the staff were dressed and acted in character. One of the staff was really good at acting, improvising, and at jump scaring me while we waited in the lobby for our game to start (I tend to get easily startled), which made our wait very fun and memorable. I wish I knew his name. All the decor was beautiful; the "spooky hallway" to the bathroom was indeed very spooky. My boyfriend and I did the Daycare room, which is rated as easy and linear. I've only done five escape rooms to date, so I'm not that experienced. I found the difficulty level of the Daycare room to be perfect for our group of 2. We were able to complete it with 20 minutes to spare. We both love horror and scary stuff, although I get scared very easily. The Daycare room was very creepy and immersive, with lots of jump scares. I was scared throughout the whole experience (which is what we were looking for). If you hate being in the dark, this is not the room for you. I would love to come back here to check out the escape rooms!! They also have a restaurant/bar upstairs, which opens at 5pm. I wrote a separate review for the restaurant (called Room Number 13). In conclusion, I highly highly recommend checking out this place!

As soon as you walk in, you see a band playing at the top, a couple of the actors, and this giant room. Very unique! I've tried different horror escape rooms and would put this as highly rated a great choice. You're put right in the middle of the theme as soon as you walk in! The escape room itself was great!! I wish there was a live actor in it, but even without the live actor it was such a nice experience. We did the scariest room; the attic. I loved the puzzles that they gave. I think what differentiates this escape room from others is the puzzles make so much sense and are so creatively done. Other ones I've been to have you questioning how anyone was supposed to solve that. But not this place. I love the way they presented their clues and they definitely give you jump scares throughout the room. What a great experience. I would comeback and recommend it to others! I'd separate the escape room itself from their upstairs dining service. I was very curious what it would be like since I've never had an escape company do also a restaurant. We were sat in the very back and they only offered to move us right when we finished our meal and were about to leave, which had us confused. It took very long for our orders to arrive. On top of that our server never delivered one of our orders. So we asked for it again and they brought it, but double charged us by forgetting about the first time we asked. So we had to get that fixed. The food itself is also just mediocre with the portions being smaller than it looks in the pictures. I would not eat there again. The service and the food were both disappointing. But as an escape room itself which is the main attraction, it's such a lovely place that has so many options to try and definitely worth coming back to. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!!

We were heading out…read moreto Hollywood for an event, and decided to stop by this location on the way to try their Doctor Psycho room. You must solve a serial killer's puzzles before he returns. They're located right on Western Ave, on the corner of a side street. The building is easy to spot with its orange and white exterior. Parking is also easy since they have their own private lot behind the building. After you park, walk around to the front corner, and ring the doorbell to gain entry. We arrived a little early, but were able to start right away. The adventure begins with a blood-spattered door before you even step inside. You are allowed to take pictures in the room and you can use your phones flashlight if needed. The room is a little dimly lit and helps set the mood. There are some good sound effects and a few jump scares, but it feels more creepy and spooky than scary. There is a good mix of combo locks, key locks, some unique mechanical puzzles, and a few dexterity puzzles. Everything worked fine, but the numbers on some of the combo locks were pretty worn. I ended up using the flashlight on my phone for those which helped a lot. This was definitely a fun room. We escaped with about eight minutes left and only needed a few nudges. Solving one of the puzzles near the end gives you a nice little personalized keepsake. They rate this room as medium difficultly which I would agree with. Our game master Kim was great. She was very friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with her before and after the room. Their rooms are a little pricey for only two people at $62.50 per person, but the price drops with the more people you bring. They have a same day booking discount, and you also can save $10 if you book seven or more days in advance.

They did such a fantastic job making it feel like you were on the set of a horror movie, the decor and props gave off a "Saw" vibe. Depending on what your fears are, this room might test them a little. The room starts off very dark, and at one point you are even in complete darkness. There will also be flashing lights, and a need to crawl through a tight space. There were plenty of puzzles for everyone in the group to work on, no one was left out which made everyone happy. We were able to complete the room with plenty of time to spare and had a great time figuring everything out. We would 100% come back to check out one of their other rooms at this location and check out some of the other themed rooms at their other locations as well. This is a great group activity whether you are with a group of friends, family or even co-workers. All of the props and puzzles in the room worked perfectly and we didn't run into any issues. Our game host was great, and they had a comfortable waiting area for when you are waiting for your room.
