Their website says they can haul up to a 20 foot beam, yet when we called they said no. They should probably update this info.

Just another fly by night clown skimming money off big white boats. People like this need to be run…read moreout of the marine industry. Alfonso agreed to perform work at a specific rate, then over billed for the work. After bring called on it he said it was an accident and submitted a modified invoice; still several hours more than actually worked. He said that he had to run around Fort Lauderdale looking for supplies and charged 7 man hours for two people riding around when a quick internet search and phone call would take care of it. To top it off he held my credit card on file when he was expressly forbidden to do it and then made a fraudulent charge to the card after I told him not to. Avoid this guy like the plague.

I've had my bottom cleaned by Fonz's for over a year now and had a compound and wax done about 4 months ago. On haul out, the insurance surveyor actually made a point to ask who was doing my hull cleanings since they weren't adequately removing the growth around any of the thrusters. Then when I mentioned I had compounded and waxed the boat 4 months ago, everybody asked me who the heck did such a poor job. 2 guys that work for a competitor in South Florida even went as far as to say it's the worst detail job they've ever seen after 4 months. All agreed that poor quality materials were used and this was most likely not a 2 step compound and wax, but rather a single step cleaner wax that does a little of each step, but poorly on both. The boat has hazing all over it and I'm now getting quotes to have the job completely re-done from the beginning. All my efforts to resolve this with Alfonzo were ignored or I was blow off. This is the downside of being a ways away, companies like Fonz's take advantage and screw you. Steer clear of these guys. Better companies out there that do much better quality work.
